I've certainly racked up a few frequent flyer light years on my Raptor in the last couple of days. Got it booked in for a grease an dilithium change next week.
The Ausmonauts. Home to all the Aussies and Kiwi's in game. Well most of them :P
Early this morning we welcomed members from the Federation Special Ops fleet for some joint special task force runs. Thank you to Simon Picard for organizing this, it was a really good to meet new people and have a ball shooting the borg
A very warm welcome to Poppit, good to have you back into the fold.
Congratulations to MDK on his promotion, Well deserved mate.
Ausmonauts, we play Startrek Online and doing it damn well If your in the +7 to +12 time zone look us up, we do have people in the game 24/7
I wish we already had fleet star bases with dry docks.. after this Borg invasion at least 30 of our ships will need to go in for a complete refit of there warp drives and most others will be well over for there 30,000 Parsec survive.
The Warp mechanics at Quo'nos told me. There would be a delay on a service to my ship as there were a back log of Klingon ships to service with the traveling we have to do, getting to these Red Alerts. So I took my Raptor to Kerrat instead. The Federation at the spawn point moved my ship up the priority list to be repaired.
The Ausmonauts. Home to all of the Australians and New Zealand's in Star Trek Online. Well Most of them.
The Ausmonauts. Largest Oceanic Fleet with 80+ Australians and Kiwi's. The Ausmonauts. The Premier Oceanic Fleet. The Ausmonauts. The most active Oceanic Fleet.
If your an Australian, Kiwi or play in the +7 to +12 GMT time zones and your tired of logging in, only to find your the only one online or playing with one or two people at most. Pack your bags and ship out to the Ausmonauts. You will laugh hard at the banter in Ventrilo and in game. You will gain valuable knowledge of How Star Trek Online works. The Ausmonauts. Home to the most harden, fossil encrusted admirals in Star Trek Online. The Ausmonauts. Where teaming up and helping people out. Or just having a blast with other players in game is how the Ausmonauts roll.
We started in the depths of the night, just 33 ships. a battle hardened remnant moving blindly towards an unknown goal.. now a hair off 100 strong and certain of our path, we stand together with pride. http://www.ausmonauts.com/
Are you Australian, New Zealand or play in the +7 to +12 GMT time zones? Are you in a dead fleet that has 1 or 2 members who play very randomly, that you never see?
This is not the case at the Ausmonauts. Every night it is packed to the rafters with fellow trekkers, spreading what is known as Star Fleet Diplomacy. We are close to 100 members now. The 100th sign up may get something special. Not a Mark I common sniper rifle. But something nice and shiny.
The best part - everyone is happy here, all of us have real life commitments which allow from very little opportunity to play to some who are on most nights. Everyone is treated the same even if they are on once a month with advice offered kindly and sincerely with friendly banter served by the bucketload.
In addition to this regular successful fleet events (some planned, some not) mean we are able to give a truly unique Australasian fleet experience. We do not currently officially take part in any other games meaning those 100 members all play sto.
So to me, if you want a fleet between GMT +7 and +12 we are the place for you.
We are THE Australian/NZ fleet to be in lots of experience, laughs, support and good times, if you're new to the game don't let it dissuade you from joining, there's always someone around to help level that character.
I'm actually a little surprised that despite the size of the fleet I know everyone's name and we all fight, cry and laugh together. through the hardest levels and the silliest goofs, both in and out of the game.
I may not be the most regular of STO players due to work commitments, but one thing I can always count on is the group of friends I have made here in the Ausmonauts. They are always friendly and ready to kick back and have a laugh, even while killing Borgies. We let eachother know about Foundry missions that we've enjoyed, so Foundry authors are able to get a bit more recognition for their hard work. At the end of the day, I wouldn't still be in STO if it wasn't for all these great people and the close-knit community that we have formed.
So if friendship, laughs, honesty and a good time sound good to you, give us a try. We may not use fancy gimmicks, but we have fantastic people.
^ Cheers Riven, couldn't have put that better myself.
We have a range of members including some in their early 20's to those with grand kids. We have people with young kids, people with jobs, people who go to uni, people who are on every night and people who are there once a week.
No matter who you are you are treated equally, in fact it is written into our regulations.
Having members that are in multiple fleets seems to be the ultimate in diplomacy. Just finished a really fun joint fleet STF, a little shaky a start but it soon turned to lol's and full on Borg slaying.
Thanks and good work to the Federation Special Operations Fleet! =^_^=

Many Ausmonauts left side. Now deal with it!
86 members in just over 4 months.
10 players with more than 12 STF runs - 3 players in the hundreds
Nightly help with leveling.
There is always someone on at any hour of the day.
This is what I always wanted to experience in STO - an excellent supportive and fun gaming community.
Which reminds me, i need to check my characters and verify my tally. To many things to do and only so much time to do them
Join us today @ Ausmonauts and shoot some borgies in the face.
And the fleet.. I cant believe it but nearly 100 members.. we're so having a party!
Welcome to all those new members
So Many of them hidden from us in Star Trek Online. However we will find you. This is our mission.
If your an Aussie Kiwi or play in the +7 to +12 GMT time zones. The Ausmonauts is the place for you.
When your ready to join a fleet that walks the walk and is not all talk, come and see us at the Ausmonauts.
Oh... finished the borg encounters today
That's good to hear jj, since my new computer is up and running, we'll have to run another couple of STF's on my tactical Catian.
Which reminds me, i still need to post up the specs on our forums.
And a big Grats on maximising your accolade points again.

I say that's 101 reasons to join
I think the best part is the spirit of community, we have made a lot of really good new friends to go along with the already great mates that we have.
Looks like we have the right formula for fun both in and out of the game.
If your looking to play with a great group of people in one of the friendliest Australian / Oceanic guilds in STO then look no further!
Just use the in game fleet finder or head over to the website www.ausmonauts.com to join up
