I think you've just confirmed it.

Btw when I say crit build I'm not talking about balancing magic and dex stat...As a psy you only put minimum dex to get 20base and that's it, rest of the crit you get from balancing your gear. I.e. I'd never use dex over magic stat on a weapon, you simply lose too much, but crit vs magic attack is different story.
-
It's not that easy because magic gives fixed damage whereas crit gives %, which is exactly why there is a fine line which separates the point from which adding more magic damage is less efficient than adding 1% crit. If pwi allowed 3rd party tools I could easily pinpoint that line, this way far as my psy goes I'm…

Noobs usually go all-out damage with endgame gear instead of balancing it out by adding crit rate. Likewise Apostasy represents the other extreme, a noob who is obsessed with crit to the point he sacrifices his damage. Once you get core of your stats done, the goal is to get 20%+ crit rate in pwi because 20-25 is the…

Keep in mind Mayhem only has like three good players, Yaba/Adal is same person and he has 50% of the r9rr chars in that guild xD So if you take away Yaba and i.e. Rebel, Mayhem pretty much has nobody left. Crimson can't win as it is with even numbers, so with or without officers it doesn't make much of a difference. Far as…
-
Shhh don't tell him that, he wouldn't get that build done in a year of playing on a private server, let alone on pwi.
-
So basically you'll spend a decade trying to get those stats on r8rr and ornaments, still with this virtually impossible to obtain gear you'll have 44att/31def base with 12.7k hp in comparison to r9rr who has ~110att/50def base and 15k+ hp. So yes sure, by all means go for it - oh and yea, your 20-22k dmg sure looks good…
-
I do not care, your posts have already revealed your skill level. P.S. You need more channeling.
-
Or you can miss the point. I said you should always use best gear for NW/TW, so if that's g16 nirvy for you or tt90, of course you aren't going to use tt70 just because you want a bigger "challenge" or "dislike people who use x gear". @Apostasy you've gotta be one of the dumbest psys out there, which is no easy feat, if…

r8 wrist+boots can cost 10m ea if you are patient with buying candy for 100k instead of 200k. But the cost of r8r and the range of stats you can get on it...you're better off just going g16 nirvana or r9rr. BIG LOL @ "Because only with r8r gears can a Psy achieve 10k+ base phys def, 16k+ ele resists, -45% chan, +41% crit…
-
<3 back at ya Cytte, hope you get that nirvy gear done :P
-
rofl players in pwi are so far behind that they complain about premades in pvp farming instances. Hilarious. Well I guess every game has noobs crying how this or that is unfair.
-
Not what I said :P I said you need to create competitive faction first and that through competing together you will create a happy family. If you create a family and hope to compete - you'll just live in misery and lose forever. The only way family factions work is if already experienced players+friends create one, but…
-
Precisely Burnout. People here have no idea how clans work - first you make a competitive company of players, through competing together they become friends and over time they become family. In comparison what factions like Mayhem do is - first they make a family faction and then try to compete, it fking never works! What…
-
Gear doesn't seem to be the only problem, something simply doesn't add up - several factions had high numbers, some of them very well geared overall, yet they all failed to be dominant TW factions. Mayhem supposedly has 80+ people for TWs atm yet still doesn't do well. So while I agree that one faction has held monopoly…

I suggest you read post above, maybe then you'll realize why you never succeeded with a DoT build :) Same for being squishy, if you get purged, debuffed and controlled, you will die. There are only a few situations in which JoSD build will have a noticeable difference in survivability in comparison to DoT build. In most…
-
People who advocate going DoT build to sit in White Voodoo with positive attack levels don't understand why go DoTs in the first place. The reason why you go DoT build is so that in B.Voodoo you maximize your attack to take out JoSD targets and when you need to defend, W.Voodoo will give you more than enough defense levels…
-
It depends on your gear, DoT psy is hands down most efficient way to go with endgame gear (r9r or r9rr and no, you won't be a glass cannon), but seriously for g16 nirvana? You could go DoT and be a somewhat glass cannon, so it's an option. JoSD are a complete waste to put in g16 because you simply aren't going to be a tank…
-
Soulburn is actually a bad call - it is one of best sage skills far as pvp goes but financially it is a poor choice if you want to be efficient with your coins. Mag.res mobs? Doh...why not simply...not attack them? They take longer to kill anyway which results in more mana and time spent. So as the first post said,…
-
LOL@above post about prices. R8 costs ~60gold (bit less) and the nirvana prices are a joke to, so don't scare a new guy with fake prices. You have basically two choices far as gear goes: R9 recast - best choice, it is extremely superior to any other gear, the only problem is that it will cost you 850-1100gold to get R9…
-
You will drop ALL dq after dying even if you have guardian scrolls and even if you have safety lock. Is it a glitch or not, either way it's ****. First of all why the hell did sins get that skill in the first place? I didn't know they needed help farming pve and second of all, it's bs all dq items get dropped as opposed to…
-
Don't listen to noobs. Purify is banned on pwv, not pwi.
-
The answer is because a) you are an idiot, b) you are also a noob, c) you are also lazy. JOSD allows you to make mistakes and play sloppy while tanking like a pro without really doing anything. So if you give to a lazy stupid noob a JOSD and a DOT build psy, he will do better with the JOSD psy because the DOT psy requires…
-
If you intend to put endgame gear on psy, aka r9rr+10 or better, it will have way more survivability against all classes than an archer has. Don't let the "low phys.def" argument fool you, psys are a unique casters class that sure, has the lowest phys. def of all casters but it also happens to get free defense levels and…
-
Then again the true answer is go cits as everybody has already suggested. You've got psy.will+expel and cits are good vs all attacks, not just physical.
-
Yes, let's not forget that once you use Oxygen Bubble we have only two earth attacks to use, but luckily for us they can apparently slow you down, so woohoo! And oh snap, I thought SoS was all about timing rather than counting on your opponent's stupidity to just randomly run into it by himself, I guess we're doomed…
-
3spark vs archer works in rare occasions because they'll just run away - if I really need (which I never do) more damage vs r9recast+12 josd archer with mag def ornaments, I'll rather use tide spirit. How easy it is for you to kill archer also depends on your build - whereas archers have one and one only endgame option for…
-
There is absolutely no difference in balance due to the duration of the fight, sage psy always has an edge over archer - it's not like we run out of chi or any cooldowns over time, the cycle is repeatable ad infinitum. And you're talking out of your *** about sage having a hard time killing a josd archer with mag.def…
-
Fascinating, considering sage psys are way better geared towards fighting archers than demon. Our psy will lasts longer, we can use expel, we are chi efficient so we can stun you more often, our soulburn lasts longer so we can lock you in the rotation of doing combos followed by soulburn when you think you'll unleash your…
