Max aqua impact and its earth equivalent (nukes), black voodoo, landslide, glacial shard,earth vector and water/earth spirit (passive skills) first. This will give you max damage. Torrent, sand trap sandburst to level 5 for now. Soul force skills are pointless to level now while you have so little. Level them when you get around 90.
Around lvl80-85 you will want to max your aloe skills to level max for FC. I would also suggest going sage at 89. Look at the demon vs sage skill list and decide for yourself of course. I would suggest looking at the guilds listed on the main Psychic page for more thorough advice as I am doing this from a tablet and do not have the skills in front of me.0 -
I would suggest you look into getting Cloud Eruption on your genie. I just level it to lvl 1 and put 35 in Vit and the rest in Mag. Its a life saver because i can have a spark every 30secs the same as my Psy Will's cooldown.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

i dont recall exactly what was at level 50 and too lazy to look at this very moment... ill answer this more fully by end this weekend... but i do have 1 point to make...
SOULBURN... no matter what your soulforce is... try to max this skill specifically. It will not be OP for you, however... when you run up against "Magic Resistance Increased" mobs, this skill will do full damage on them...
...but this also means you need to have your bubble of life (heal) maxxed too... which i would advise anyhow... you need to use soulburn when a creature is either on you (melees) or about to start casting... everytime they use a skill, they take the full damage... you should also be using your two starter spells while soulburn does its thing...
if you are not buying charms... (and mp charms are suggested-- obviously, you have access to free mp charms till 60... use them)... try to get a farming set (separate of what you consider your main set) of maximum MP Recovery gears to use with npc MP pots... this will allow you to grind with minimum downtime meditating....

Wow.. can't believe I forgot about bubble... def. lvl bubble. Soulburn can be very helpful for those mag resist mobs... Good call Apostasy!
As for genie skills, HOLY PATH---HOLY PATH---HOLY PATH, cloud eruption, second wind, earthquake (for when landslide just isnt enough).
Chi Siphon if you want to spark even faster but I suggest against it... triple spark means almost instant aggro at 100 if timed wrong...aka.. you're likely now dead.0 -

I have recently leveled my psy to lvl 50. I am wondering if any pro psy's out there can give me some advice on an order to max my skills, and some pve and pvp tips. Any help would be great!

Soulburn is actually a bad call - it is one of best sage skills far as pvp goes but financially it is a poor choice if you want to be efficient with your coins. Mag.res mobs? Doh...why not simply...not attack them? They take longer to kill anyway which results in more mana and time spent.
So as the first post said, levelling basic skills followed by earth vector, glacial shards and sandburst blast for fcs is the way to go. Other two skills you wish to avoid until very end are tide spirit and red tide - former is great but for the most part you'll be using 3spark while levelling up to get some free mana out of it as well, whereas the latter isn't mandatory, especially when you still have low soulforce. Not to mention both of the mentioned skills are hella expensive to level up.0 -
From the perspective of a level 51 psy... here we go...
Aqua Impact (% chance to slow enemies) and Spirit Blast (basicly, the two starter skills) - try to keep max'd.
Black Voodoo (adds to your attack levels for more damage), White Voodoo (adds to your defense levels if your are getting slammed or end up drawing unwanted aggro) and Soul of Vengeance (enemies take damage by hitting you, but keep in mind this will draw aggro... and ASK before you decide to throw this buff on a tank or cleric... most dont want this) (these are your buffs) - try to keep max'd
Bubble of Life (your area of effect / squad heal) and Landslide (your knockback) - try to keep max'd
Torrent and Sand Trap (your damage over time skills) - try to keep up with, especially if you group up with people and have aggro issues... these are also your best attack skills to use before a tank really has aggro
Empowered Vigor (your buff on being able to be healed and hp charm ticking faster) - try to keep up with this, for yourself when solo'ing and for your tank or cleric in squads
Glacial Shards (% chance to freeze multiple enemies in place), Sandblast Burst (% chance to lower accuracy versus melee and archer types... it helps the tank potentially take less hits) and Aqua Cannon (when you are surrounded or in close to an enemy/enemies) - (these are your area of effect skills)
Spark Burst for extra damage, especially on bosses (and do not use this as a tank is trying to get aggro)
Those are basically the skills I have on my 51 psy at the moment... Here are others however, also available at 51 :
Earthen Spirit and Aqua Spirit ... these are your +% to damage on those particular elemental type of attack skills... you most likely want to try to keep up with these...
Soulburn... like I said, your soul force does not need to be OP for this skill to be useful at these levels... the main use of this skill is really that it will do it's full damage versus "Magic Resistance Increased" mobs while you are most likely solo'ing... Otherwise, magic resistance increased mobs will likely take about 1/5-1/6th the damage as normal with all of your other skills, so it depends how much you enjoy dancing around... and in squads too this can be good versus bosses on a tank...
Well, from there... I do suggest getting at least the level 1 version of everything available to you as soon as you can... this opens up the spells / skills after it on the skill tree... from there, you should just read the skills available to you and decide which ones you really want the most... you wont start to truly catch up on skills till well after level 80-ish if not around 100 even... its all a pick and choose whats best for you and your playstyle game till then...
one piece of advice if you happen to not mind cash shopping a bit... Badge of Endurance, you get 10 and trade those in at the NPC Messenger of Sages for Sign of Endurance... trade that in and get i believe 66000 spirit to use toward your skills and genie skills.
As far as genie skills on a psy at 51... ill tell ya which ones are fairly common for psys and useful for what... no need to give ya what i use, i do most things a bit different than the cookie cutter kiddies that play this game on most occassions... i suggest reading over genie skills on the Watcher of Earth NPC yourself... do note some genie skills are class / race specific of which we psys have no such skills for genies...
You will likely want a Zeal genie for Earthflame in order to solo-pull dungeon mobs for whatever occassions in squad or even by yourself.
Holy Path is very good to have for keeping up with the tanks most of the time... or when just needing to add more distance between you and enemies...
Second Wind and/or Tree of Protection for self healing
Earthquake as an "extra Landlside" to knockback enemies
Tai Chi for added hp regeneration, especially while meditating out of combat
Extreme Poison and / or Enrage for extra damage
Windshield for extra defense if getting slammed or having gained unwanted aggro
Celestial Sword and / or Explosion for an extra attack spell if you prefer that over others
Overall, I still suggest reading available skills on genies over however at the NPC Watcher of Earth itself while the genie is in the Learn Skills box...

Up to 50 and after, everything in my first list still holds true, this is in addition to that...
Soul of Retaliation from level 59+ ... where as Stunning is good for a one time stun every 30 seconds, Retaliation will reduce the damage you take on a hit and deal some damage to the attacker... this may not cause a lot of damage with low soul force, but still worth it when you figure Soul of Vengeance will also deal damage...
Psychic Will - Immunity to Physical Damage for a short amount of time... major *** saver
Earth Vector - AOE, but more important, it has a stun component
Tide Spirit - depending on you, you will find this useful or not at lower levels... Ive heard some say it "eh"... while personally, I used this and was quite satisfied with it until i got trip spark...
*** When you hit 95, you can go into MORAI ...
TIP : + Refine on Weapon > + Refine on Any Other Gear = Higher Soulforce
