  • The "150% to magic attack" given by the Demon version of Spirit's Gift seems strong, but it's only for the first ten seconds of a buff that lasts thirty minutes. I'll admit I'm still low level and inexperienced, but why would I want to get my buff timers out of synchronization just for a ten second boost?
  • I think I might see the problem. You can't fly if your wings are merely sitting in your INVENTORY. You must have them equipped into the Aerogear slot of your equipment panel. After that, you can (as Ursa and Nelae said) press "E" to see all your action icons, and drag the "Fly" icon back to your skillbar.
  • As a Cleric, I would LOVE to have more mana. The more mana I've got as a Cleric, the more times I can spray healing spells on the Barbarians who seem to THINK they're invincible... Yeah, I've got a charm. It was given to me by a friend. They're bloody expensive, so I don't WANT it to tick over. The stupid thing fires when…
  • You might try checking at your local Target retail store, instead of the website? You wouldn't have to wait for them to ship it to you, either.
  • Craftsman skill can also be used to decompose (or manufacture) necklaces, belts, and rings. In order to decompose higher level equipment, you'll also need to train up the appropriate manufacturing skill to the same level required to make that item.
  • Not quite. Continue to click and you'll find the description of the cupboard stone: http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/21022 It's for a "Material Safe," which we can presume will be extra bank storage to hold crafting materials. It also mentions a "Clothes Safe" for storing clothes. As for the expanded Cat Shop slots,…
  • Well, I don't have any of the higher stones, but I can tell you of the lowest: Yiyuan, 40 stamina Liangyi, 80 stamina There are Jewelcrafter NPCs that can let you convert 3 chi stones into the next higher level. Unfortunately, converting 3 Yiyuan stones into a Liangyi actually gives the genie LESS stamina than if you fed…
  • I was under the impression that the apothecary items that add elemental power to attacks only affected MELEE attacks, and not skills. So unless you're swatting them with your wand, I'd say you don't need to use those items. (Bad Taurox! *swat*)
  • Halloween is in October. You'll have to wait a while.
  • Well, one simple reason why an Archer might use a sword. He ran out of arrows. =)
  • So instead of a pet bag, we'll have a genie bottle? :)
  • Plume Shell is the low level "panic button" skill, for when a mob starts slamming you with high physical damage. Guardian Light is the high level "panic button" skill, for when everyone else in the entire squad is DEAD and now half of the denizens of the dungeon have decided to have Cleric for dessert and you need to run,…
  • Yeah, if you want to use buffs to strengthen melee... Squad with a blademaster or barbarian. They will love you for it. If you look at the descriptions of the Cleric skills, they can only be cast while wielding MAGIC instruments (wands, patakas, glaives, magic swords) or barehanded. Those weapons have physical damage only…
  • That's why I've got Vanguard Spirit and Magic Shell in a macro, but Celestial Guardian Seal is on its own key. This way I can still give buffs to random people, without accidentally wasting their apothecary mixtures. If/when I can finish my Cultivation quests, I'll add Spirit's Gift to the macro, but keep CGS seperate.
  • Yeah, I had the same confusion. I even sent a support ticket to the PW staff. There's an Intro quest that needs Lv31 stuff, and Lv20 stuff. My problem is, since it took soooo long to do all the steps for the intro quest, alongside all my other quests... I'm still not done with the intro, and I've already hit level 31. So…
  • Blessing of the Purehearted is the default starter healing spell you are born with as a Cleric, because a level 1 cleric needs SOME method of healing. Unfortunately, with the 3 second channeling time, it's utterly USELESS in a combat situation. Don't waste any SP on bringing it up past level 1. However, it's not entirely…
  • You need to "charge zen" to get stuff from the boutique. $10.00 = 1,000 Zen = 10 gold = 1,000 silver $1.00 = 1 Gold = 100 silver (although you can't charge this small an amount) The Auction House NPC also has a section where players can trade their gold for coins or vice versa, but those prices are set by the players, so…
  • As soon as you toss the Elemental Seal, the mob will aggro. You might want to follow it with a Great Cyclone to slow it down so you can have time to cast Wield Thunder before it gets in range of ripping your face off. Most of the guides I've seen in the forum recommend using Wield Thunder as the opening shot, since the…
  • No way, that takes SEVEN DAYS before it'll work!
  • Regarding movement speed, there are items that can be crafted with the Apothecary skill that will temporarily increase your movement speed by 40% or 70%, but only for 15 seconds. Nice for a panicky "AAH! IT'S GONNA KILL ME! RUN AWAY!" type of moment, but not so handy if you're trying to hike from Etherblade to City of the…
  • I've been keeping my armor repaired, but now I'm curious... What happens if the durability of an item reaches zero?
  • As you gain levels, new skills (or higher levels of old skills) will unlock. You can see the levels for each skill by looking at the Skill Tree (press R to bring up your current skills, then click the "skill tree" arrow in the lower right.) After they have been unlocked, then you need to seek out a Skill Trainer for your…
  • The numbers are X, Y coordinates on the map. The first number is the horizontal, X axis. Low numbers are to the west, high numbers are to the east. The second number is the vertical, Y axis. Low numbers are to the south, high numbers are to the north. Just think "Over and Up," like a reversed "L". 000 000 is somewhere off…
  • $10.00 = 1,000 zen = 10 gold = 1,000 silver 1 gold = 100 silver 1 penny = 1 zen = 1 silver (but you can't recharge that small an amount)
  • I don't remember where in the forums I read it, but I recall seeing somewhere a discussion about how drops are generated after you kill a mob. I believe that if you're significantly higher level than the target, not only will it give less EXP and Spirit, it will also have a lower chance of dropping loot. So when looking on…
  • Hmm, according to ecatomb's site ( http://www.ecatomb.net/skillpwi.php ) it says that you "suffer a X.X second attack damage by reduction of 50%" in order to paralyze the enemy for Y.Y seconds, durations depending on level. Now, does that reduce our damage while doing physical attacks, or damage while casting spells? Or…
  • Elemental Seal is first available at level 19. Razor Feathers is first available at level 23. On the skill tree, they're in the same column, which might make it look like they're pre-req, but there is no arrow connecting them. So much wasted space on the skill tree, with the lines between the buffs and the party-wide…
  • Well, when I was selling a few items, I was able to check back at the auction house and see that the bids were going up. I did not set a "Buy Now" price when I started the auctions, just an initial bid. Maybe that makes a difference, maybe they've made changes to the auction system. I don't know. I'm just saying what I've…
  • Safest way to transfer items between your characters is to use the mailbox post, but it does cost 500 coins per letter, which can only hold one item. And it takes one hour for the letter to be delivered. If you have in-game friends that you can *really* trust, you can ask them to hold onto the item(s) while you switch…
  • Actually, if you go back to the Auction House, there's a pair of buttons on the bottom of the interface labelled, "My Sales" and "My Bids." http://pwi.perfectworld.com/guide/auction Those can show you the status of all auctions you are participating in, with current bid and time remaining.
