You know, this is some hilarious hypocritical sh** right here. b:chuckle You Fuzzy basically made your reputation as a PWI mod in part by mocking those on here who QQ about the state of the game. Even those old veterans who were here from nearly the beginning and seen the way the game slipped all the way from being truly…

I could care less what class is flavor of the month now seeing as how I uninstalled back in January... and the way this game is going right now (next up... +2 DoTs lol) I can't see wild horses dragging me back. And for your information, the BM aviator you are looking at was retired by me more than a year and a half ago. I…

Psshh... all I'm getting from the blah blah blah above is that you're pissed that your original elitist system got replaced by another... full stop. And all that b.s. about Barbs/Clerics being allowed to get first picks due to higher repair costs is just that... B.S. You choose to play the class that has certain drawbacks…
-
And I stopped reading right there. That great team work and "social interaction" you're talking about during those 3 hour TT runs ? Consisted of Barb and Cleric taking the choice of drops at the end while the DDs were left to fight over whatever scraps were left. Sure sounded like "fun times" for the servers back then, huh…

It's actually a fairly good opinion piece on the state of the game... particularly since its coming from the point of view of a self admitted cash shopper. But yeah Sylen is right... there is already a thread started with nearly an identical heading.

Clearly someone is looking to break the world record for "poster most ignored by the Mods". Keep it up, you're almost there. b:laugh
-
What this really comes down to is that the HA classes alone get screwed when it comes to how much damage they deal based on both the lower strength multiplier compared to the castor classes, and the fact that they have to sacrifice strength to allocate an inordinate amount in alternative stats (in this case dex) to both…
-
You forgot option (b). Believe it or not, tons of players did just that (rage quit) during the height of the "QQ Sins too broken" crisis back in the day.
-
Hello Yulk. Is the number one care bear of PWI still too scared to step into Nation Wars ? b:bye
-
Ain't that the flipping truth. Last time I did NWs... which was a while ago as I've basically quit the game... a full (as in full set, not the typical weapon + ring + aps gear ****) R9 3rd cast Sin zerk crit my R9 Seeker for 19K... basically one shotting me. It was like my 81 defense levels didn't exist... I couldn't…
-
Eh... good luck rolling x2 int. on your R8 recast boots then. Doesn't change my fundamental point any. Gear needed to gain interval is squishy. In fact has always been squishy but now all it takes is for an R9 third cast to glance in your direction and gg.
-
Fixed. Anyway... this is all water under the ancient bridge. In this current "more pay to win than ever before" PWI environment, nobody gives a rat's hinney about aps Sins/BMs in PK anymore... CC or no CC. TT99/R8 gear needed to keep aps is obsolete and translates into nothing more than getting one-two shotted by all those…
-
There was still huge potential for exploit by other classes with self buffs from channel cancelling however. The main reason they fixed CC in the first place IIRC was because Sins were using it to abuse power dash out of stealth (buff that increases their crit by 40%... no sparks used and no cool down). Back then with an…

There's little reason for PWI to introduce R10 in the near future so long as they can find other creative ways to keep the arms race going. And I have to say from a PWI revenue standpoint, these new +3 def/attack level shards are brilliant. Just when you finished refining and resharding all over again your new R999 gear…

If I remember corrrectly, Moderators don't have the ability to (IP) ban nuisance posters... only edit posts, close/move threads and that sort of thing. Actual banning is the job of the GMs and/or Community manager (which is actually a good thing or half the forums would have been Fuzzy banned by now b:shocked). Admittedly…

G16 has a higher base damage than R9 1st cast but the damage is not that much higher to the point that when it crits the damage is equal to zerk crit from R9 sword. In fact, not even close. Essentially for what you say to be true, it would mean that G16 astrals would have to do 70-100% more damage on normal hits than R9…
-
Um no... it doesn't. Crit on g16 sword = x2 damage. Zerk crit on R9 sword = x4 damage.

Sage Adrenal numbness: 35 defense lvls Krav Maga : 5 defense lvls total : 40 b:bye
-
End game R999 Seekers can get as much as 45% crit if you include the Emperor tome (5% crit). Gof is about 20% chance to proc. Although I haven't done the math, I'm fairly certain that the chance to zerk/crit for the above is not as low as 1/10th of the time. And anyway even if it is, to put it in perspective... R9 Archer…

But what happens if... instead of just firing up Sacri slash and a few other debuffs in preparation for QPQing... I decide to open my attack like a Sin and use my teleport void step which (sage) has a 4 second stun to lock you up first ? :) Then you're probably forced to blow your genie to get out and avoid what you know…
-
Psshh... people are making way too much hay over the defense lvls debuff alone without realizing that's only a fraction of what a smart Seeker can do to you. Crimson soul powder: 30% damage amp Sacrificial slash: 40+ Def level debuff Fortify: 50% reduction in magic defense from gear All 3 above can be QPQ' d on to you at…
-
Whenever I QPQ/sacrif slash combo onto someone, I always start with BA first for the channeling buff. Then using hot keys it doesn't take more than half second to debuff someone with that combo (particularly since QPQ has an instant cast). Then of course if sage QPQ the person is both debuffed and silenced and thus can't…

Is it just me or have Seekers replaced Sins as the new QQ class ? b:avoid
-
Um... b:puzzled
-
If you're talking PVP... the problem with Vana swords compared to even standard R9 is that the lack of Gof means you're missing out on one of the most... if not the most important update to Seekers from the Siren patch... which is the ability to now zerk on metal skills. If you're talking PVE only then to be honest Vana…
-
OK... makes a little more sense now. Still crazy damage though. Oh... and I'm definitely gonna look to recast my Seeker's R8 sword for def lvls too. As of right now the stupid thing is just sitting there taking up room in my stash and all I need to roll on it really is only 19 def levels for me to hit someone with a 40…
-
That Psy who got one shot for 100K is the leader of the faction my Seeker is in and I can confirm he is indeed R9 3rd cast +12 JoSD. The fact that he got hit for that kind of damage (even if debuffed) from a +10 Astral Ballad Seeker is freaking amazing and if I didn't see the SS myself I probably wouldn't have believed…
-
This is the actual description from the patch notes: Reckless Rush: Base physical damage increased from 50% to 120%. Cooldown reduced from 2 minutes to 90 seconds. Damage to targets below 50% health decreased from 300% to 240%. Cannot critically hit, but has a 2x critical chance to deal 1.5x damage. Being that it is a…

Every single class can tank/solo masses of mobs if geared well enough. However Sins are generally seen as the worst at it due to their generally limited aoes compared to the other classes. That's pretty much why Sins have to fight tooth and nail to get into BH Delta squads and most of the time are really taken only because…
