    Thats a good question. If partial fire damage in the attack will increase crit + damage then that will be a good benefit to 5.0 archers and BMs who cancel DBB.

    My question still stands. and some more facts to lift it. For example (talking about weapon shard upgrades):

    G8 Ruby Shard gives +64 Fire Attack
    G8 Garnet Shard gives +32 P. Attack
    (only using Ruby as an eg, it could be Topaz - Earth) - You would hardly use Earth as Wiz will always (or most likely) have Earth Barrier to counterpart for their lack of Phy Res.

    L8 HA: Phys. Res.: +832
    Mag. Res.: +355 (all elements)

    L8 AA: Phys. Res.: +93
    Mag. Res.: +835 (all elements)

    L8 LA: Phys. Res.: +357
    Mag. Res.: +555 (all elements)

    Phy dmg shards would do well on AA users (that is a no brainer). But what about LA, what shard is best to use against them? The G8 Ruby or Garnet (presuming all their magic defence are the same)?

    What I can see is all the mele classes adding phy dmg to their attacks where most mele classes are HA. But HA are weak against magic. Its kinda like the saying, fighting fire with fire.

When you attack the enemy with a Fire or Earth skill, the Critical Strike Rate and Damage of that skill will be increased for that attack. Would that not be good if you had a Earth or Fire shard in wep? Because HA classes are weak with magic attacks, won't these shards do good against them instead of Phy dmg shards?

    Lots of physical skills look like "Base damage + 200% weapon attack" or how demon spark is "+500% weapon attack". Your base damage itself is normally like (1+DEX/150+.6)* weapon attack which is like 500% * weapon attack. So much is based off of a multiple of weapon attack. This is why when your weapon does like 1-2k damage your base damage is like 6-10k.

    Garnet increases this weapon attack value while elemental shards do not.

    how comes all the seekers seen so far use only single sword? y dont they use Dual instead? since they cast skills all the time speed will be the time but alot stronger!

    dont tell me they can only use single o.o

    No, they can use dual swords. There was a picture of a lowbie one using the first NPC dual swords when the expansion went into the testing phase in china.

    It's just that all their "Special" weapons (fb19, supply stash, rank, etc) are single.

    No, they can use dual swords. There was a picture of a lowbie one using the first NPC dual swords when the expansion went into the testing phase in china.

    It's just that all their "Special" weapons (fb19, supply stash, rank, etc) are single.

    phew thank god. i have lunar dual blades, didn't want them to go to waste!!! it seems single swords can reach an interval of up to 2.86/3.33 MAX speed.

    i am 2.00/ 2.86 atm wiv fists, but wiv single i am 1.43/2.00 wiv single sword. it doesn't seem too fast to be an interval seeker o.o. should people go for power rather than interval? i find it hard to decide.

    also another thing, should i be tryin to add more interval, or more CHANNELING? they seem much more skill based, i'm wonderin should i give it more channelin so it has 'instant skill' cast lol.... maybe better than interval?

    btw any news on the pvp vs sins so far?

    Elemental shards will works and works better than garnet on players who have high phydef : barb , BM . however it will not works well on mag user ofc and also on mobs around ur lvl yo will not see a big difference in damage. However, elemental shard will make a big difference on lvl 150 mob/boss, it seems to me that the elemental attck added by shards does not affected by lvl 150 mobs/boss increased mag/phy def. Basically it applies the same amount of damage on regualr boss/mob and lvl150 boss/mob.

    Anyways, based on this rumor, major factions have already starting funding, donations, etc, etc for their own faction bases. So either its really legit, or everyone is just assuming its true.

    will earthgaurd sage/demon books drop?

    i know the tideborn do not and they have been out a good while yet...


    if they DO drop... will the expansion fix it so tideborn does also?
    if the do NOT drop.. that's FOUR classes that have no chance to farm for books


    im a little worried.

    i know some good player that have left the game because making the higher TT;s harder its very difficult to get higher tt gear. Fc + Hypers to level gets very dull after a while, but finding Bh squads is rough when everone is FCing. plus i see so many PAYING barbs to tank fc runs.

    Most, not all, plan to see what the new expansion brings, and if its improvements may return.

    if earthgaurd books do drop, will many tideborns quit the game? or leave behind those characters?

    if they don't drop, what will go on with those 4 classes?

    i know it benefits PWI because they make more money

    but also many spend money on this game for the love of the game.. wich is turning sour


    tho the game brings in many many new players every day.

    i personally plan to make one of each new class, but depending on what the makers of PWI plan with issues... well i just dont know

    i suppose im just very worried, and feel a sense of doom around the game i love

    And some of the Tideborn skills do drop, so it is only a couple that are un-farmable. I would expect them to fix that in this expansion, along with balancing them to make sure that every class's book has the same chance to drop.

    You can make the missing skills... but when you make a demon/sage book, there's no guarantee which skill you get.

    I really hope they do fix this. Which skills are currently unfarmable and is there anyway to get them?
    Tideform doesn't drop and can't be made. Tideborn starter skills also doesn't drop in fb89.

    Does anyone know if the earthguard have weapon tokens?

    well, the currency of the two versions are different so its not official since Pwi will prolly make the amount of mats bigger/smaller. You never know !!!!
