    It's about flexibility...

    I posted a link to the bow I use on my BM, and my faction freaked out b:laugh and started telling me I was going to end up in LA. Then, I pointed out, it was simply the highest level bow I could equip, and it was just for pulling/kite mobs/mobs that use Reflect Buff.

    And on Reflect... I know a high level Sin who sometimes kills himself on reflect on some of the mobs that have it. I told him to use a bow on those mobs, and lo, he stopped killing himself on those mobs. :P reflect only reflects non-ranged physical damage.

    So a bow can be extremely useful on a BM/Sin. And fists can be very awesome for an archer, especially on mobs that have increased movement speed permabuff.

    My BM has no more dex than is needed to equip fists/claws for level. She's an entire 15 levels ahead of her bow (37 using the Padded Iron Bow, 22), but it works for me. :p

    yeah what Rawrgh said, idk how to spell him. Snakefist is really the only bh where you actually need a competent squad with good dps, and even then...I've been surprised on numerous occasions; I thought the squad didn't have nearly enough dps to finish in time, and we did no problem. Give those wizards a second chance, the ones I know have done right by me b:surrender

    Edit: apparently I know how to spell Rawrgh. That is all.

    I think that is a game... everyone should be able to play the best way they can. Getting 5 aps isnt easy and i know people that has gotten in farming in game, without cs. So, if they have the time/money/patient to do it, then let them be :3 Im sure most of all their stuff are as good as their dps or that would be awesomely fail.

    About high DDs stealing aggro, like archers with fist/claws that is soemthing that depends totally to the archer... with my bow i still steal aggro, to barbs my level or higher because is a +8, i dont wanna imagine a +12 bow... then? what can we use to let the tank do their job?? Why dont we switch the roles so we all can DD? If you get high dps and perma spark, you will always keep aggro and everyone will be done much more faster, since all the squad can DD to the top.

    Obviously its the player responsability to know where and in what they can use this, and when they have to let the barb or herc take control because otherwise he/she will be one or 2-hit by the boss.

    Other than that i love my gorenox (fc gold), and im still pure dex... but ofc i wont ever go for lunar claws.... that would be too expensive and too dex sacrificing.

    aps alone didnt kill the game.......

    when they implemented sins bloodpaint maded 5.0aps able to solo almost anything without clerics.. that killed the game

    Personally, I believe there's ups and downs to the whole -INT craze.

    Pro's:
    -Quick runs, good in PvP and events
    -Hard to get - expensive; Won't see many "noobs" w/ 5.0


    Con's
    -Everyone wants it, even players who w/ their current gear, shouldn't have it
    -Players take aggro and die due to poor gear/playing skills and get upset at the cleric/barb
    -Classes that shouldn't use it are using it (Can be good), but are unable to use normal skills unless they equip normal class wep
    -PvP is pretty broken unless the opposing person has equal or higher APS. Normal builds for classes must be tweaked pretty hardcore to even wield Deicides or higher
    -PvE instances weren't designed for such quick runs
    -Barbs end-game aren't used for tanking; Just buffs/debuffs

    Although I have more cons than pros, I'm completely for it. However for people that are part of the PvP scene, good luck. It's mostly broken. My build PvP-wise (Hybrid), isn't enough to hold off a 4.0 APS or higher. It's not my gear. It's not my skills. It's not my playing skills. It's the pure fact that I can't handle 5 attacks per second of an equally geared player. It's not probable, thus PvP is broken for all non-APS users. It's alright though, since I'm mostly carebear, and if I'm going to PK I'll make sure to bring a -int friend or two to assist me. 1v1 however, I'm toast against a 4.0+ APS user.

    Although, I'll be honest. It is sad to see some of the old builds of classes go away. The pure Str/Vit build BM (Good for PK - Stun lock; Good for RB), pure dex/vit archers, pure vit Barbs, etc...

    Sidenote: This is also why I'm making a -int BM. So I'm able to catch on to the -int craze, kick **** in PvP, and still keep my Barb the way I like him :D

    I'm a 5.0 demon archer and there is nothing wrong with it. Yeah we have alot of criticism for using fist but in the end i can't hear the hate over the amount of money im stacking up. Don't know if it was mentioned but 5.0 archers do just as much or the same damage with equal refine weapon/shards as a 5.0 BM shocker eh? 35% crit rate and 50% demon flaming arrow compensate for not having the strength and fist masterys. Sometimes the only way to kill a 25k hp barb is to fist it (that sounds dirty b:chuckle). But really why do people care about someone elses build focus on your own, play whatever floats your boat. On Dreamweaver most end game archers go with interval fist/claws which doesn't make them any worse or unexperienced. Fact is any class can use interval its just that it suits certain classes over others, it truly is sad that many end game instance squads seek only 4.0/5.0 classes (can't say I'm not one) but thats not the players fault; devs should make it like delta where you get bonus if you have rainbow squad or something instead of nerfing/overpowering a class. Honestly if they lower aps or make fist/claws BM only I would rage quit the game and Im sure im not the only one b:angry. But im curious to see what the 2 new expansion classes has to offer, maybe its the answer maybe its not, cant waitb:victory

    I've recently noticed a trend with Barbs having fists/claws, but have very poor -int or not even having -int gears at all!

    It really looks funny though in my head if I imagine a Nirvana squad with 5 5aps and 1 cleric, 5 macho guys just hitting that boss to see who has the biggest e-peen, and everyone of them thinks that heself is the best 5aps there is in the world and screams if he cant get any agro of the other 5 aps, meanwhile all 5 are yelling at the cleric as she is kind of a slave to heal them all.

    I know this isnt what happens out there all the time, but its just what I imagine about nirvana with 5 5-aps users:P

    I actually quite like healing Nirvana because in every squad there's one BM/Sin that will have aggro over the rest and no matter what anyone does, aggro won't move off of him.

    It really is the fastest, easiest way to clear any instance that requires a tank.

    No the sad part is seeing a 3.33-4.0 veno who does more damage with magic unless HA but still thats just pathetic. All people think of is aps whats going to make this game fall 5.0 I Quit my cleric because I became useless. All I was there for was buffs i remember going into a FFC and they said sorry we just want buffs and thats it. I also see people saying we want Hurc venos LMFAO like you think a hurc makes a veno better. No it dont i have seen venos without hercs do better then the ones with hurcs. Also the Nixs bleed ya thats way to strong 2k bleed on a 90 sin. Ya all im saying is Good job way to ruin the game in my view.

    No cleric needed. The DD's are healing themselves with bloodpaint faster than the boss can hurt them :D
