You're an idiot if you think stun > triple spark is all that effective as a pvp tactic and I'll just lol at you like I do much of the time. I'm on a pvp server, people don't try to tank BM triple spark like they do on pve servers... and before you say it's not true I've witnessed it many times both on your server and sanct where the pvp is absolutely horrid.... lol
You really should learn to play a BM if stun + triple ir your little one-trick poiny. Sorry to say, it usually never works.

srsly about those whining about archers getting aps....why not? our str requirements for our armor already puts use close to the claw requirements plus some like to use hp helms over mana (hell i know i do) and alot of that stuff adds +str. in the end even with pure builds u pretty much can use claws. and michael's right....use apo during PVP situations...trust me nothing is more pleasurable then seeing some1 rage about u using apo and killing them

so in 100k hits, 20k will be crits, no more, no less

So, ok, let us say that you have 5aps and a 20% crit rate. Here are your probabilities for critical hits for a 2 second span of damage (first column is number of critical hits, second column is probability for that many):
0: 10.7%
1: 26.8%
2: 30.2%
3: 20.1%
4: 8.8%
5: 2.6%
6: 0.5%
7: 0.08%
8: 0.007%
9: 0004%
10: 0.00001%
So, ok, we can compare this with a mage using a skill with 2 second channelling time and a 10% crit rate
0: 90%
1: 10%
This mage, with a lower crit chance and a lower dps still winds up with a higher chance for all of the damage to be boosted by a critical hit. The 5aps user is almost (but not quite) guaranteed to get some critical hits but has a snowball's chance of getting all of that damage in critical hits.

You know what pisses me off? It's the people complaining to me personally when I WC for APS users, ask in faction for APS users or when I refuse a 1.86 archer with TT90 green fists for Nirvana. Really? I'm selfish then, right?
I don't know about anyone else, but I worked my *** off to get to where I am and I'm not even close to being done with my gear. Known has done the same, both him and I ran Nirvana like crazy, even having lower APS I did other things, I farmed TT, I merchanted, I farmed herbs.
There is nothing wrong with wanting a fast squad with people that have similar damage output, I worked my *** off to get these results. So now I'm obliged to take someone who has put so little effort in to his character/gear because if I don't: "I'm one of those greedy APS people"

I got raged at by like 5 people yesterday, 4 archers all below 3.33 APS, 1 wizard.
Now the wizard, Ok, I can KIND OF see where he/she is coming from. But I can also see how he/she is lazy as hell. It takes about..10m and a month at most (10m including the money to even get TT90 gear) to level an archer/BM to 100. Invest some time in farming TT or merchanting and work your way up. You can't expect to make an archer/BM and just out of the sky Lunar claws drop right infront of you along with the Lunar cape, TT99 armor/ornaments and people will just take you to instances. No, you work for it and when you finally can say you've achieved a respectable amount of gear/APS. THEN you can come back and tell me how unfair it is to people who worked their asses off for their gear to take someone on a Nirvana/TT run when he/she has put no/barely any effort in to his/her gear?
I'm sorry, but if me refusing to take people whose damage output doesn't even come close to that of someone else that would be more than willing to come. Then I'll gladly be called selfish. Because I put enough effort in to the game that I now want to reap the benefits from it. But I guess that's just selfish, that's probably my problem. Isn't it?
But making a nirvana run last twice as long as it would've because of someone with a lower damage output is not selfish of that person at all. Nope, that's just normal because he gets to exploit other people's hard work

I agree/disagree with Known. I don't mind taking friends to Nirvana, and I still do about everyday. But I do tell them that when my "usual" squad logs on I'll leave and join them. Because I would like to make money myself. And they usually understand, if they don't. I tea-bag them.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I have no issue with people who worked hard/spent their hard earned real cash to getting where they are now. APS or not.
As with other magic class users, my issue is with the balancing of the classes. Heck i'm pretty sure the cost of my gear is about the cost of a 4 APS BM or so but -chan is just no where near as good as APS. This is what is causing magic users to lose out. Pretty soon everyone else will have to be a APS build BM/Sin/Archer/Barb or whatever.0 -

If you're refusing to take faction mates just because they're not interval users, then yes, you're selfish. And I would also assume that if you could log two characters you'd want 2/6 split. That's also selfish.

Basically it seem . . other than make venomancer alt to gather low lv items or solo farm TT.
Everyone should make 5 aspd alt too now, can be used to help people finish off instances or farming instance. b:laugh

As I said, I do take faction people with me. But I do also mention that if/when the people log on that I go with log on, I'll go with them.
A person in a faction doesn't make him/her any more special than anyone else in my opinion. Especially if he/she would be taking a friend's position.
Just because someone joined the same faction I am in 5 days ago, shouldn't mean I'm obliged to take him/her nor should it mean that they get any form of priority over others.
And no, I've logged more than 2 chars for other instances before. And I don't ask or expect anything more than if I were logged on 1 character. So your assumption is incorrect

Just tell me this: How high are your standards? For example, would you not take a Sage sin just because he's a Sage and therefore most of them will have at most 3.33 aps?I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.

In all seriousness, I will never enter Nirvana as it is currently. At the moment it just seems like the primary symbol of a culture of impatience and complete willingness to exploit fundamentally broken game mechanics. Did you work your *** off for the ability to be broken? Good for you. I for one would completely lose interest in this game if I were forced to use such things.

The problem is why everyone must be poke machine with 1 usable skill spamed every 15 sec, why all tactics its down to

i quit my bm/sin cose of that, as cleric im having much more fun, and better challenges in general, i can heal, attack, run for live, save squad and myself with genie skills, i have actually choice of build, can try different things, redesign my genie, my gear even my stat points, what u can do besides 2 parts hh99 heavy + 2 parts la, + -int tome + lunar cape + nirvana pants, u cant even wear ur nirvana gear cose u will loose all ur -int
and i understated u will protect your 'hard work' and 'investment' its fine, i wish i could say have fun, but my definition of fun is bit different. and believe me when i hit 100 on ep im not going to run 4 x 30min nirvanas a day, i rather stay 2hour more at work and make more money and trust me my wotk is more fun that ur game.
All I wanna say is that 5APS its not fair for almost every class, sure i can back to my bm and topup some, but why? im not gonna use my 'hard work' to 'invest' in something which is not making profit and its not fun to do.

5aps is not broken, permaspark is, think im gonna make separate thread about that when i win with my laziness ;p0
