i had a buddy on a 74 cleric go in event made 46 tokens off the event and sold rap for 250k each tell me where a low lvl player can make over 10mil in 2hours any other place b:laugh this will help many players new and old

old players wil take there large lumps of coin they use to open packs to buy the cheap cannies and rap to finsh gearng the chars and they low lvls sell it to them and lvl faster and then gear them selves more blanced in gear = more intresting wars and = loads more fun

beats trying to war a R8/R9 faction or 50+ people and getting gang b a n g for 15mins or 3 hours i feel like quiting TW and enjoying the fun in NW b:chuckle

Edit: Having 31% as quitting and 12 as not happy with it, is imo a
big enough reason for PWI to open their eyes that they may lose alot of members, leaving
those who choose to stay in a rather empty game. The majority of players havn't voted and
probably never will, I know some signed on, off and uninstalled just in pure rage. I however, do
not know that many who arn't somehow questioning the future of PWI ingame, besides on the forums, hence I'm pretty surprised to see how many are happy about it here.

For those too lazy to read some important points to know.

Broadly speaking there are 4 player types in a balanced game.
Any one player may fit one or all types at anytime during their personal history with the game.

Explorer
Achiever
Socialiser
Killer

Killer player types will really enjoy the discomfort this expansion brings to the other 3 player types, but seem to have forgotten, that the achiever player type that they prey upon most to get the best thrills from, will disappear fast.

There is another thing that seems too have been forgotten by the development team,
the sub group of achiever revenge killer types in our game is much lower than the Chinese versions.
Note: Original complaints thread and player reaction to enforced PK in Secret Passage.
The expected flow of players from that type will be lower than they think as most will quit rather than being forced to change, this being mostly due to cultural differences.

If you read this article carefully you will also note, that farming is mostly a socialiser type of behavior and not achiever type, and as achievers are the natural prey of killer types not socialiser types, this further weakens the game play for the killer types.

Achievers are fascinated by beating the Explorer and other types to a lesser degree, to the special item that is not easy to obtain even by farming or cash shopping, so adding more farming instances will not encourage more achievers to play, once again weakening the game for killer player types.

In the section marked OVERBALANCING A MUD (Multi User Dungeon)
Biasing the game to killer types will lead the game from being perceived as a real RPG to just another Arcade (Shoot-em up) game.

On a personal note.
As much as I am an Achiever type. I note I still have the killer type in me as I ponder with a little glee and a lot of sadness, the discomfort this will leave with the killer types when they wake up and realise that all their prey has gone, and they only have one and another to kill,
get bored fast and leave once again.

I am hoping that this expansion is not the activation energy required to send this game down an uncontrolled reaction path to its eventual destruction.

If marketing department has chosen to use a game model to cater to RPG content at lower level switching PvP at higher levels then they better have ways to get new players onto the servers not alts or returns and not rely on a reputation for honesty.

Other things should have been implemented than stuff people actually farm such as canny and raps,r8 mats from trials..etc etc.I do my multi 99 key runs on all my alts when x2 arrives now since the 2012 apoc for PW,looks like ill hold on to my keys untill this is resolved,but yeah nirv is basicly dead...proof is in the WC.

...the Nation Wars is good event for fun and u finally dont have to be in any fac in map to get ur *tw* .....but with adding nirvana mats to it is not that it just killed the system from before (every x2 whole server farming nirvana) but will make us cash shop even more ^^. Though i never csed before and I swear ill never give a single euro to this troll game, I am really dissapointed because at the friday morning, before knowing that whole nirvana will be dead, i finally hit my last piece of full t3 and i was incredibly happy. Few hours later, i found out that my farming was a waste.

However....PWI u got +1 point from me u troll, with t3 update some people started to believe that they dont have to get r9 like csers (ofc not r9s did it but most of them yes) and they can farm their nirvana gear with great stats and bonuses, but now...when practically every1 can have t3 in few days the dissapointed already t3ers who havent quit yet will go r9 way and will prolly cs for u, so after all this expansion was market thing as all of them before as i see

I am really happy that this game is trying to make gears for players easier to get but THIS just completely ruined the nirvana. So....why are *already T3-ers* QQing? easy...from the amount of the money they spent on it they could have afford r9 or op shards and orbs, now in 2weeks every 100+ person on servers will be full t3, however t3 is awesome gear and wep and can be really compared to r9, i found out the biggest difference today (after nation wars) talking with my r9 friend and he said - Yeah, with this i can make my alt psy t3 in 3days.

It kinda hurt me cuz i am psy and some1s alt will have same gear as i have and i am active player who has been farming my head off and could ve had r9 by now. This Nation wars totally ruined the nirvana.... ppls after dinging lvl100 wont go to r8 and then slowly t3 or r9...they will go directly to t3 what they can have in 3 days


So what was this expansion good for?
- make more peoples go r9 cuz every1 will have t3....=cs support
- make no need to farm, when every1 will have their gear from event they will need just few mils for refines and shards (some may say that getting +10 to a wep isnt small amount of money but its nothng compared to person who spend over 800m on full t3), nirvana wont be active anymore cuz why do it when its not very much profitable atm...so the only farming place left here is tt...

Last words - for those who are happy about having t3 practically for free, i hope u will notice soon too that its not that much fun when every1 in game will have same gear like u...just give it a 1 week and ull see

No offense intended to the poster, so please don't take it that way.

Even in a sub-par squad it shouldn't take 2-3 hours to clear a full Warsong (again, no offense intended to you Kenahe, I'm strictly using your experience as an example here).

This is exactly why people need to farm their gear over a period of time. They need to learn their characters and how to properly utilize the gear and skills they have available to them. Handing a player top tier gear and saying "Ok, now you're pro!" is crazy. And that's exactly what PWE just did with this update: "Here, spend 2 hours killing each other and walk away with a full set of new armor! What's that? You still don't know how to use your skills properly or do more than triple spark and auto-attack? Oh well, at least you're on par with everyone else now..."

And before somebody throws out the "Well they still have to farm the base gear!" argument...just stop...don't even post it. 95% of the people I've seen directly benefit from the influx of Nirvana drops already had TT99 and TT weapons or Lunar weapons. PW added a manufacturing pack sale with the update. That means 0 farming required, charge $30 and you can make all of your gear yourself regardless of if it's bound or not.

Yes yes,the economy is going coocku, I agree on that, point is it has gone highwire before and it has stabilized up before, if you have to panic then go and take a 1 year break, you'll come back and see that there's nothing wrong with the economy anymore really...

well ofc there the main ones who did NV, also the sames ones who would spam world chat for 4.0-5.0 squads and not taking anyone else

i love the update as now it gives me a way to get NV gear without trying to find a squad all day long

most of the players QQing about this nirvy thing is the ones who have the 4/5aps farming chars the ones of us without them has our chance to really do something now and catch up to them. i had a 4aps barb and i might find one party a week for that its was sick. people would tell me roll a BM or a sin and then farm its like wtf what happened to doing nirvy with all diff types of players it made the ones of us thats mains are clerics venos barbs and many others sick of hearing about nirvy this nirvy that. now you dont have a farming edge like you used to. and its far more blanced and now you all crying like little kids. that its just not fair well i lvled a bm to 92 before the update. worked hard on it now i have no use to farm with it now and i couldnt be happyer i can stay on my main and still make good money

I dont have sin nor BM. but i hate the fact that they launch t3 nirvana in less than 6 months then they launch this.

I think thats a good thing. Adding more and more layers of upgrades makes gearing take longer and longer. This kind of power creep just keeps increasing the effort it takes to get 'good gear'. It was getting a little bit out of hand once you have 4 levels you have to wade your way through. This update resets that amount of effort back to what it was a year or two ago.

I might be reading your post incorrectly, but are you saying that it was hard for clerics, venos, and barbs to get Nirvana squads?

You might be correct in regards to clerics and barbs, but venos don't have trouble. Hell, they get invites to both caster and aps squads!b:chuckle

NW is great, it's fun and gives people a way to get their NV gear without having to wait forever to get squads/have good enough gear to do normal NV. Not to mention this will most likely encourage people to go back to farming TT among other things.

I find it hard to get normal NV squads on my veno (which has sage amp).

in a way i like this expansion and allso in a way i don't.

why i like it.. well i can now gear up my alts and put em into different small factions to help em out tw and other stuff... and well i got 230 tokens even tho had no clue for the first 30 mins whatto do coz crashed 2 times and got a glitch that didn't allow me to even forcelog back in.. allso windows updates and pc reboot all of a sudden \o/

what i had to do is farm the week to get charms and apo for TWs on the weekend. well all i gotto do now is just do the event on friday get my charms and apo for TWs and on sunday i can get the stuff to upgrade my alts gears or when they are done umm.. well help other people with their gears if they can't get enough of them tokens from the event... don't have to put much effort during the week can just chill and do something else than play pwi without cashin.

why i don't like it.. well just makes everything a bit too easy to achieve.. basicly you just gotto do that event on the weekend for 2 hours.. 2 times and you get full nirvana set... wich is allready a good gear to stay alive in most basic situations...

now that everyone can get the basic gear very easily it all comes down on refines and sharding.

well now instead of tt90 - 99 / r8 vs r9 g16 nirvana its g15 - g16 nirvana vs r9 3d cast

everyone 105 don't get offended but id say 99% of you are 105 becose fo the goonz glitch wich was clearly "forbidden and bannable" but yall just got rewarded for doing it holy cheeseballz the wines O.O 40% more dmg 20% more defense O.O and im only r9 +12 with icebournes i do my share of "tab, kill.. tab, kill" but with that O.O

but im allso worried about the "new blood" to pwi... its very hard to start from a scratch.

With this expansion all doors of free to play are closed now specially for few classes.

I just done a full on my seeker. I got 1 tear of heaven, 4 big golden scripts, 5 big lumis, 3 stones of scarred and a few leafs along with 1 imm. topaz (ew), and 2 obps. (this was during double drops btw.) I burned 150k off my mana charm, a few ticks from my hp charm, used around 450 or so mana food, and had an almost 450k repair bill. (we had no barb in squad)
Yea.. delta is nothing more than another coin sink now for certain classes.
Its a real shame, delta is by far my fav instance in the game to do.b:sad
Whoever was responsible for this change, should hang their head and be ashamed.

Wow, spent 10 hours trying to get the damn game to work yesterday only to see the changes and log off more or less immediately. when everything was BORING and pwi give 1 month 2x
if you dont have life and u farm day and night u will end up with 500 cany and iam sure its less
so
500 cany X 300k = 150MIL
and lets say a 100 raps
100raps x 1.3mil = 130mil
a total of thats is 280 MIL and iam sure not all of use can do that dont forget it BORING

lets talk about the NEW PWI b:dirty
iam gonna do it in average amount

1 NW per week
means 4 per month
if u abel to farm 200 tokens each week
means thats 1000 cany
cany price is 100 k now ? good
4000 cany x100k= 400 mil AND ITS FUN

I got 247 tokens, sold 300 cannies (equal 60 tokens) at 120k and got 36m, bougth gold with that and now im Tailor and Backsmith lvl8 and i still have 187 to make raps, cannies or just sell them (if i sell them again at 120k ) and get 112m more. I can understand someone who payed a lot of real money for something that lost value really fast, but i just cant understand the no-catshopers that dont realize this is good for them. Yes its rigth, now u get less profit doing nirvy to farm raps and cannies, but instead of that now u can get much more doing something much more funny!!!!!!!!! Even if u arent the strongest player and many people 1-hit u in pvp u can still have fun and in this even u get a price with just a bit of participitation (u dont even have to kill a single player and still have profit).

I basically runout of crabs in less than 1 hour, have no charm nor squad to get someone to heal me, i was runing around with something like 700 to 1khp till someone target me and kill me and still have fun and profit lol.
