Need a good translator, the information itself about the skill rebalance is true, but the thread Im linking is not official.

Some really good tweaks mostly benefited are Venos and Clerics with some nice modifications.

Mods please close this thread once Korren/Bubbles thread is out. Thanks.

    Im not sure I think that either mark of weakness and magical shackles got mixed up in Google translator.     Wait...... skill balancing that actually works and doesn't break things? Between this and Morai, I'm starting to wonder if they fired the RT-era dev team before Descent came out. Because if so, there may be hope for this game yet.

    Sorry for multiple double posts, Im annoyed at the spam bots.

    VENOMANCER

    Parasitic Nova: Additional damage increased from 6606 to 8606, the confusion probability has been increased from 67% to 95%.

    Feral Concentration: Casting time reduced from 3 seconds to 1 second, fox-form only, cooldown reduced from 5 minutes to 3 minutes.

    Natural Synergy: Effect now stacks with claws and similar pet skills.

    Revive pet: Casting time reduced by 3 seconds. (Technically is channel time what is reduced and casting time is still one second)

    Fossilized Curse: Casting time reduced from 2 seconds to 1 second, additional equipment attack power increased from 0% to 100% additional damage increased from 50% to 150% of maximum HP, it no longer raise the target physical defense, cooldown reduced from 5 minutes to 2 minutes.

    Arcane Antimony: Casting time reduced from 3 seconds to 1 second, Is now based on magical attack power instead of physical, additional attack power based on equipment increased from 0% to 100% and the increased damage based on 50% mana now is 150% mana, the cooldown was reduced from 10 minutes to 2 minutes.

    Noxious gas: Overtime poison damage changed to 100% of weapon attack power, instead of set number.

    Blazing Scarb: Sage overtime damage changed from 30 seconds to 12 seconds, and extra effect changed from increase fire dmg from 15% to 30%, Demon overtime damage reduced from 24 seconds to 9 seconds, both skill have the overtime damage changed from a set number to 100% of weapon attack power.

    Frost Sacarab: Slow efect increased to 70%, overtime damage increased to 300% of wepon attack power.

    Lucky Scarab: Sage stun increased from 3 seconds to 4 seconds. Demon from 2 seconds to 3 seconds.

    Love the reduction on the cooldowns but hate the nerf to the duration of the effects, specially for Sunder. 30secs of heal reduced to 15secs QQ.

    Are you mad, do you understand that those are buffs? the shorter it last the more damage it deals per tick.

    Are you mad, do you understand that those are buffs? the shorter it last the more damage it deals per tick.

    As a simple Example if you distribute 10 000 damage over 100 seconds. It will deal 100 damage per second, however if you distribute it over 10 seconds it will deal 1000 damage per second.

    It could have given more damage for the same amount of time instead of more damage for less overall time.

    For example Archers Take Aim deals basic physical power plus 400% weapon damage as a instant damage, surely you can see a good difference in its power based on the weapon you use and the charge time. Now if instead of instant those 400% would be over 9 seconds, it will still scale great with your weapon.

    Asterelle should probably explain the formula much better that I can, Im not even a english speaker anyway b:surrender but is supposed to be a boost.

    I reckon it will also include Attack Levels then, so for a DoT with 400% weapon damage you'd be looking at maybe 10k damage over 15 seconds with your average r8 weapon (including average mob defense). Not amazing, but a whole lot better than the current DoT's.
    It will probably have some multiplier....I think

    Weapon attack power is just:

    random number within your weapon's damage range + weapon shards (sapphire or garnet) + rings + character level

    Ill try my hand at doing the archer stuff.

    Awaken: Cooldown reduced from 15 minutes to 5 minutes.

    Sage Quickshot: Changed from "50% chance to give 20 additional chi" to "10 additional chi and 10s of 20% more crit"

    Sage Stun Arrow: Changed from 1 additional second of stun to 1.5 additional seconds of stun

    Sage Stormrage Eagleon: Changed from a 30s duration to 15s duraction. Total metal damage overtime increased to 600% of weapon attack. Phys / Mag attack debuff increased from 20% equipment value to 50% equipment value.

    Demon Stormrage Eagleon: Slow effect raised from 50% to 80%. Total metal damage overtime increased to 600% of weapon attack.

    Blood Vow: Range changed from 30m to standard "Ranged". Cooldown reduced from 5 minutes to 2 minutes. No longer lowers own max hp. Damage increased by 150% weapon attack. Metal damage duration lowered from 30s to 9s. Additional damage still 4444

    Sage Vicious Arrow: Duration decreased from 15s to 9 seconds. Total damage increased by 100% weapon attack. MP drain raised from 100 MP per tick to 300 MP.
    increases wood damage by 35%???? (i dont know)

    Demon Vicious Arrow: Duration decreased from 12s to 6s. Damage increased by 100% weapon attack.

    Sage Serrated Arrow: Duration decreased from 12s to 6s. Damage increased by 100% weapon attack.

    Demon Serrated Arrow: Duration decreased from 15s to 9s. Damage increased by 100% weapon attack. Health regen per tick increased from 40 to 100.

    OPINIONS:
    Sage Quickshot - looks pretty viable now. Not quite as good as demon quickshot I'd say but gives sages a spammable 20% added crit which is alot.

    Sage Stun - Should make sage stun arrow 5seconds now. With this added time sages will have more time for sage quickshot I bet. Now both sage and demon will be doing Stun -> quickshot heh.

    Sage Stormrage Eagleon - might be useful for PVE. Still **** PVP
    Demon Stormrage Eagleon - 80% movement debuff is still junk. A waste of 2 sparks to force opponent to use a cheap holy path. I don't feel the added damage is significant enough to make a DoT scary

    Blood vow - Lower cooldown is huge! This is the best of any of the changes for archers.

    Serrated and Vicious arrow - The dots are still incredibly bad since they cant crit or benefit from attack levels. Really for a DoT to be useful to me they have to have a DoT of at least 1200% weapon damage (a normal arrow's crit worth of damage). If it can't do the damage of a single normal arrow then why are we wasting time casting it when we could just fire 2 arrows?
