Things that annoy you in-game...

I'm freshly annoyed so I thought I'd add to this thread.

BH51. Of course, a high-level in squad. And of course AGAIN,
it's a sin lvl 90+ (why can't it at least be a high-lvl veno? or psy?--
anything but another sin?).

When I see his name, I know right away that this is gonna be sad.
His name was one of those variants of the "F" word, to scoot around censors,
plus "sin" plus some X's & underscores. One of those names only a prepubescent
could find clever/witty/daring.

Of course he immediately takes off down the hall before any of the other squad
members are in (except me), doing those huge pulls where I end up getting aggro
of half the mobs when I throw a heal on his rapidly plummeting HP. No problem,
as I knew from experience to expect this.

By the time we get to Fush, a couple of the other squad members have managed
to catch up to us. Greater audience ramps high-lvl sin into major hot-shot/show-off
mode. He stealths through the guards to meet Fush coming down the hallway further
up. Someone asks "what are u doing?" and sin says "I'm gonna lure boss."
Uh . . . well, ok . . .??
This wasn't stupid enough for him I guess, because he then proceeds to "lure"
Fushma right back to us--again THROUGH the guards--so now we have the whole group of mobs
(including one of those midget archers) PLUS Fushma on us. That silly shmunchkin stuck in the
rock was also involved somehow. I do manage to see out of the corner of my eye a brief "sht!"
in the chat window from the sin.

Oh, I forgot to mention that all the while, the 2 squad members who
weren't in yet & blissfully unaware of what was transpiring, were
light-heartedly chatting "we're almost there!" and "don't kill boss
without us, lol".

Back at the scene, the 2 other squad members managed to dispatch the
guards, which left only Fush, with sin aps'ing away at him. We're
going "wait! wait for other squad members to get here!" as we
could see their little circles on the map & knew they were in and
would be there in a few seconds. To no avail of course.

Sin kills Fush. Continues to stand in vulnerable area, savoring
his victory I suppose, and the 2 walkers approach. Sin is too
immersed in his awesomeness to notice either them OR our chat
trying to warn him. So he gets their aggro. We're just finishing
up those when the 2 poor, unsuspecting squad members arrive, all
fresh & pumped & ready for battle.

"What'd we miss?" they chirp. Only your 1st bh, I wanted to say, but
refrained. What did follow was an awkward silence. Finally one of
the squad says "Fush." Another awkward silence. They didn't even
ask why. I'm sure they were at that moment studying the sin's name,
and felt no further explanation necessary.

When the condemning silence grew heavy enough for even the sin to
notice, he barks defensively, "I HAD to kill him. I had aggro!"
The tenor of the silence shifted from condemnation to embarrassment.

The remainder of the run was full of equal asininities (wonderfully
apt word that), the chat consisting solely of phrases like "where
are u going?" and "no, this way" and "WATCH IT!!"

Ah, power-lvl'd sins! What would I do without them?

-- spammers of any kind
-- people that use local chat as a trade channel
-- people that sit around in the same spot for hours at a time instead of simply logging off
-- Duke spam... I DON'T CARE WHO JUST GOT WHAT SO SHUT UP ABOUT IT!
-- being unable to turn off system messages
-- beggars
-- packs and PWI's refusal to completely and permanently remove them from the game
-- people who ask for offers when buying/selling stuff
-- fake bidding
-- APS on classes that should not have it (i.e. any non-BM)
-- random invites of any kind
-- people that complain if you heal during a duel
-- people who use "txt speak" all the time
-- people who start a forum post by saying "ok"

That's all I can think of at the moment.

OMG, this sounds so familiar xD

Once on a bh51 I hated so much a high lvl bm that should think the world spins around him, he said something like "i'll wait for no one, if you're here or not i don't care, i want to do this fast, blablabla..." and i said "we don't need you to get this done", so he just quited squad, killed me (and idk if he killed the rest of squad) and left... Then we get more people at our lvl for the bh and did it with no problem xD

Good old times when I did bh51 with a squad and not with a high lvl... Last bh51 i did was in my veno and again, 2 high lvls coming to do it for us... Ok, it's faster but.. Where's all the fun of we doing it ourselves?... ._.

People who sell fcc, but demand a certain class. (2 spots for fcc exp room, level 90-99 (should run it yourself at that level) 300k, need a sin and seeker (Your demanding certain people, and saying they should pay you!?!)

Sins being cocky
Sins saying that everyone else sucks
Sins talking trash from stealth mode
Sins QQing about being squishy when they have deaden nerves, and debuff/damage avoiding skills
Sins thinking that they are better then everyone else
Sins not realizing that pwi was once sin free
Sins with horrible gear but 5.0 crying when their defense cant keep them alive and blaming everyone else in the squad
Sins being able to make money easier then every other class (fixed TY PWI!)
Sins being able to level up faster then everyone else in solo fccs, make a profit off of it selling it, and be able to to stealth unseen
Sins being OP in every aspect
Sins not realizing they are OP in every aspect, and trying to explain to others how they are actually a weak class
Sins forming a secret organization in which they all know each other and all get pissed off if anyone speaks up against them
Sins complaining about being too squishy as an aps'r to beat r9 +12 josd people, when they themselves are no where near that gear
Sins assuming that aps is a must for everything
Sins stealthing when you put up any kind of defense or fight, then attacking again when it goes down
Sins pulling too many mobs in an instance, realizing they cant tank them all, and stealthing before anyone else can aggro, so that they reset on the squad randomly
Sins thinking they can do anything with absolutely no clue what they are doing, and turning warsongs and other difficult instances into failures
Sins telling other people to make sins, people who have no desire to lower themselves to that level
Sins getting a high zerk rate on daggers, and having higher critical hit rate then any other melee class, so they can hit 4x damage way too often
Sins crying about new expansion not giving them tome with -.1 interval and daggers with 70 attack level and -.1 interval
Sins thinking they are gods gift to pwi
Sins thinking the game wouldnt survive without them, and threatening to quit everytime a nerf is discussed

Most do so I forgive you.. especially since it does apply to a majority of sins.


That said, FCC isn't that great for EXP at 98+. A player that can solo PV and enters multiple times via friends/orders/etc will get much more EXP in a much shorter length of time. Between that, the new crazy stones, and all our dailies... those trying to get EXP from solo FCCs at 100+ are doing it wrong. And since most sins won't be able to solo FCC effectively prior to 100 (good ones can, mind you, but very few are good enough to do it) they're just burning resources when they try that could be put to much better use. And this is based on the assumption that they sell that big room to make up for their costs instead of doing the full thing.

People on world chat boo hooing about they got killed. Or saying they couldnt be killed if you didnt have help. Or how someone attacks and runs to SZ. People who brag about being drunk and high. People who make jokes about sex or body parts on world chat. Like really? You felt the need to let everyone know that so and so likes to suck it? Yeah. >.>

I saw this on one of the pages too, people who follow you around killing your mobs and then trying to squad you. That drives me nuts.

I also dislike people who offer help in WC and then if you ask for say an FB29 they laugh and say nty they arent that bored? Uhm ok??? lol its bad.

And the scrolling text on the screen about events or boutique ****, yeah that drives me nuts.

and people who cant play their classes. if im lvl 30 and your 50 and i can kick your butt, you should re-roll or uninstall...

Why the turtles in FB59? I find them fairly easy to get by or kill. I do understand the horses though. =P

I was on my 52 bm and i needed help to kill a boss near the fb51 cave (It was the boss near the edge of the cliff the cave is on, on the left, if that makes any sense b:chuckle )

A guy in WC said he was helping people with bosses, so I told him I needed help with a boss. The barb squad me, i told him who it was and the barb was there way before me, I was in north arch. By the time I got to the north tele he told me to hurry up and he didn't have all day. I snapped on his @ss and said "Wow! Sorry I dont have enough money to buy a faster flyer" he siad "Oh ok, just get here soon" after he said that I said "Not everyone is rich you know" b:angry

Gosh that just pissed me off sooo much! I said thank you even though he was a rude *** hole.
