Idiots have always existed in game b:question
Maybe there are more at 100 now, because it's so easy to level.
My favorite solution :
Kick > PK > Blacklist
works everytime! b:shutup
On topic.. I wont be that sad if it goes... I miss when world chat had more trolls less people spamming for 3rd boss frost b:shedtear
Goon glitch didnt really affect me much..(though have you seen the price of vacuity powders b:angry) Though when it first got popular I was a little mad that people who could hardly play their class were getting to 100 so quick and going on to just buy r8 off the bat. In many games, if there's some sort of cheat to skip right to end or make things really easy, I probably wouldnt use it. I very much liked the experiences and things I've learned this past year or so. I almost feel sorry for those who just got introduced to the game then powerleveled and were left wondering what the heck to do next.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Didn't take her long to get to 100 afterwards either.
edit 2: To be honest, I've also had a lot of runs where I have to tell people two or three times that we aren't doing cookies it's a normal squad, and they still try to just push for it anyway once we get to third boss. I also get people nervously asking "Why?" if I ask if we're going to do the third boss because they don't realize there are still boxes in there that have a chance for some nice stuff and are at least worth stacking up until you do a full run. :P
It's highly implausible that this pleveled cleric you are talking about was pleveled through cookies.
She probably bought heads. For cookies/jfc to be successfuly done in an average type squad, she would need to know quite a bit more than u say she did. The only other way this cold be cookies would be if she bought them(which became a very covert operation after the enforcement changes) or if she had OP friends who took her and let her stand there and be useless without helping her figure out what her skills do.0 -

@kritty please magically fix my double posts :< I like being able to quote two people at once but im too tired to figure out how.
Anyway.
Most glitch squads made of people under 95 all fail.
What I did with my alts is powerleveling and heads to 89, normal FC to 95. and well, you know the rest.
I don't approve of glitching, and i felt like a dirty boy afterwards. But, I really just am too lazy to go through the grind all over again.0 -
It hurts pwe because you use less hypers getting to 105 than if you did it otherwise.
Saying people wouldn't grind without goons is untrue.
The only thing I care about if the nerf affects the legit goons or not sicne they are a rather big chunk of a legit run.0 -
Basically, all the people who took a moral stand and decided not to do goons are realizing that they were really ****ing stupid and are trying to "get theirs" at the last moment.

nope, sorry, not all of us are freakign idiots wanting to risk tossing our accounts to the void.... b:bye0 -
it'd be easy if they had more then 2 GM's
Edit: wtf, posted this in the wrong thread lol0 -

It's not just hypers. If it were a matter of hypers then I'd be surprised they didn't kidnap the chinese devs and hold guns to their heads to make them reprogram the glitch faster.
The main profit factor is the amount of money being pushed into the game to pay for 5m per hour powerleveling sessions and $1500 endgame armor sets.0 -

Actually there are quite few people selling em via world chat on Dreamweaver. :P If you go there look for people sellling "FC" or cookies. Dreamweaver was quite late to the constant world chat for SFC game. Not that nobody did it, they certainly did, they were just mostly smart enough to do it in guilds and with friends. You saw people doing it, but there were far more gold spammers than cookies people. And yeah, some people have even advertised themselves goon glitching a friend by levels in world chat.:P Even met a sin through world chat that was 95 and was looking for a guild, asked him what guild, and he said the cookies guild.

She most definitely would have had to buy her levels.
One of my favorite parts about glitch squads was how much skill, teamwork and cooperation is actually REQUIRED to make it work.
It was more team-building than any other part of the game. Legit.0 -

Hopefully this new fac thing is more team-building than the rest of the game. I agree with you on that much, a well oiled squad is one of the most fun parts of this game.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

One thing that I don't get is why level 100s and 101s complain so much about level 105s. Unless you're a sin and benefiting from the extra stealth and detection levels, are the extra 20-25 stat points that gamebreaking?0 -
speak for yourself, my highest toon's 93. I'd love to see people the basically said to PW "eh **** off u never do ****, we're going to go cheat" get banned all of a sudden ... perma. i'd laugh my butt off if half the servers got banned for this.0

It would be a lot more than half.
If it actually happened, I would most likely lose most of my characters.
But I would have SO much reason to come back to the game. It would really basically be rolled back to before anniversary packs.
Half of the TW guilds on my server would get deleted entirely including the server's biggest spenders.0 -

One reason, one big reason, i'd be laughing my *** off..... esp on HT, the prevailing attitude of the major TW faction makes you want to shove a 2 ton car up their ****. Hell i KNOW of one person in ther that.. well she SAID she's spent 500 GRAND on this game (and has been banned 20 times)..... and those people act like they own everything, don't let u even take a LOOK AROUND something like dragon temple for instance, even when it's obvious you're like lvl 60 (said that too) and just wanna look at the npc and look around (said that too).
Honestly if they do ban all these people the game might actually be fun, which is kinda sad. **** idk.... i'd still be laughing.0 -

500K on this game? Does she have a full +12 r9 account of every class? If not then she's doing it wrong.BladedZero - Sanctuary

Pre fix it kritty!
The biggest spender I know of on my server I believe capped off at 65 grand before quitting.
I've heard rumors of a girl who broke 75. She was kind of messed up socially. I had a convo with her and I was a little bit disturbed. She didn't know how to interact with people properly so she just threw cash at everyone who was nice to her.0 -

Hell if i know, i could care less about getting over TT gear. o wait, u have TW... still have to stroke that e-peen pwning everyone *cough*0 -
The biggest spender I can think of has multiple characters, at least three of those characters have r9 ring and weapon, and a lot of +12 weapons, and the armor is at minimum +10.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

wait she has one of every class full r9 +12 and two extra chars r9 +12?
I don't get it.0 -
Honestly, the glitch gave the game some life. But if you remove it and don't give us some kind of leveling instance for people who are 100+, then you better ban every single 105 on Harshlands atleast, because not a single one of them got there without that glitch.
My BM got to 102 with normal FC, I tried it one time on my BM and all it did was anger me because it wrecked too much of my charm and cost me way too much in repairs. Then seeing a seeker solo it made my jaw drop.
So by taking that away, you just took away one of the few things seekers are REALLY good at. My seeker is good to pk with for the most part, but aside from Godless Valley, I haven't found anything that seekers are really good for, especially in comparison to sins or BM's.
That glitch was the one thing that wasn't "easier" with a sin. Aside from bloodpaint, sins were pretty much useless aside from luring, any class with holy path could do that. So I was glad for the glitch to bring light to other classes that weren't sins for a change. Sad to see it go now that there are so many 105's, and it'll be damn near impossible for anyone who isn't 105 to get there now.
Thankfully I don't care about my level, I'm 102 on my BM, 101 on my wiz and 100 on my seeker, I don't really need any more levels but I also do not have a sin.. 105 sins are damn near unstoppable because no one can see them even with detection pots.
Anyway, this "fix" for the glitch is annoying considering the people who abused it the most are now 105 and now no one else is going to be able to catch up since its fixed.0 -
maybe a HA veno and a reg one..... HA cleric? idk LOL hell idk but that's what she said in secret passage while her and her buddies were gettign their jollies off one shotting people trying to go in to quest.0
