WIN I guess it to have fun and enjoy PWI. It's a game, and if new rules are thrown at you you shouldn't try to fight it so much that it'll cause you to be discontent and miss out on what can be done. Like I said, they make the rules, and sometimes to allow yourself to be subject to those rules and make the best of it is more beneficial than to fight something that you really have no control over.

I agree with you. I think stating your opinions about something you are involved in is something you should do.

As usual Rose, everything you said is spot on.
I too have had experience modding forums. In the last one, the game devs were the head of the forums. Each game had mods, each game SUB-BOARD had mods, and each board also had help staff that were mods in only that sub-board, as well as community liasons and game help.
People LOVED the mods.
A staff of three for an entire SET of forums that is probably half again as large? A staff of three that no one can even begin to trust or respect because 1 has lied to us over and over again, treated us like idiots, and just recently tried to lie to us again, and the other 2 who have had less than stellar posting records, to say the least, refuse to interact and or even try to care about the community?

It's obvious from posts made in my thread (that devolved into flaming) that Grim has no connection to the game, being unable to expound upon it for more than 2 sentences before devolving into "I help lowbies, I want to be your friend." I was hoping for a lot, lot more. It was disappointing, to say the least.
I would also agree with whoever said that we have got to stop this stupid flaming and get a grip on ourselves. We've called them out on it so many times that the mods are no longer likely to lock a well written, polite post in disagreement. So do what you have to to be heard. Even if it's be polite.

I feel like in a case as built-up as this [because there have been small complaint waves before, but they wash over], both are necessary. The flamers make lots of noise, get themselves banned. But they ensure that the authorities are looking at the forums much closer since the atmosphere is so hostile. Then people can come in like this and articulate things while the admins are actually paying attention.

My goal here was initially to PM frankie and let him know mine and much of the communities feelings in a non-verbally assaultive manner. As it was too large, I posted this in the Off-Topic section, since it did not meet the standards of the General Section. It was then moved here, for more visibility? I do not know...

I agree with you RedRoses. I also use to be an Admin and Moderator of 2 forums, and I have to agree there is not much real moderation done. For example the millions(exaggeration) of spam threads that are not kept under control, the hundreds of insulting remarks made about other players which are also not kept under control. Of course there is a lot more I would talk about but I don't want to step out of lineb:thanks.0

if this is about the forums, how come so many people are posting "game is dead" "mod is fail" posts and then riot when a high lvl get banned? the bans are actually justified and its getting ridiculous because people seem to have garned this "GMs are evil and the ones that go banned were heroes" attitude. nothing is wrong with the forums. this all started because night rage decided to rage on the forums....
if anything its the people ON these forums thats the problem. the mods and GMs have nothing to do with it. if u want to play the blame game play it with the other members of these forums.0 -

I understand that. I just don't see how this forum is such a disaster. I see topics discussed in the proper forum, and they are moved accordingly if not.
There's a plethora of information easily accessable to all members. The mods seem responsive to most matters. It serves the community well. Don't you think you're being a bit picky (considering all of your forum experiences here and elsewhere)?0 -
