You know, I don't really understand why you bother keeping so much inventory. More coin/inventory can be used to make more money, until a certain point. There is a limit on how much stuff can be sold on a server... and unless the other merchants on Dreamweaver suck, you should be reaching that point. (I'd know because I reached that point a while back on my server.) So it doesn't really help to keep so much for merchanting. So why not get some epic gear and enjoy the game? You already have plenty to keep the merchant business going.

Also, I don't really understand why you want to share your inventory. Any good merchant competitor could crush you with that info. I know I would if I was on Dreamweaver. b:victory

I'm pretty sure he spent all his coin getting packs while he could. I'm also pretty sure most of them will be sold off before packs return. He's got much longer term goals than say, myself who likes to keep funds mostly in coin. Then again I'm happy with only making 2-3m a day.

Normally, I would get rid of those orbs for cheap but I hit end game level recently so I know I will need them soon. Which is why I refuse to get rid of them below their normal cost so I don't have to wait for orb sale to obtain them again. I can just get them at regular cost whenever I need them. Another reason is because I like them. They're round and cool looking.
I realized that I reached that point so I'm taking close to 1/3 of my what my assets are worth to obtain part of my end game after I sold my inventory off. Still gonna keep at least 4k orbs.
I'm not on Dreamweaver. I don't mind the competition. I already made enough to get everything I needed. Now is just a matter of getting a little extra to keep the merchanting going.

Just crunching some numbers, and it looks like the average for me was 5.3 million per day over the course of the sale. The early days were bringing in 10-15 million per day, but it dwindled down to 3-4 million by the end.

Not bad at all. You're closing in on 600 mil coins.
I think I ended up with more packs than I stated. Counting Coral packs, I was close to 4.3k packs altogether. Using 470k per pack, that's about 2 bil. 8k orbs at current price of 75k per is 600mil. So I guess I ended up with 2.6 bil.

Currently I'm at:
8439 1*orbs (Includes 3500 orbs that I intend to keep)
902 gold
2391 packs (mostly Tiger with a few Coral)
190mil ish. coins

Used about 340 mil on new weapon. b:cry

The B/S seems to be really tight so I'm not sure if it is profitable but maybe I'm missing massive volumes.

I tried a bit of Nirvana mats B/S but prices are way too volatile and seem to be dropping. It might just be influence from the orb sale though.

I think I sold maybe 200 total today at 10% mark up. That's a pretty low sale volume in my eyes but I don't feel like competing with other shops. I am just selling what I can and keep buying gold with coins I get from pack sales and see what's up next week. If anything, I can always buy orbs the day sale ends and resell after that.

Uncannies have dropped by a lot this weekend. Think everyone tryin to get $ for orbs lol. On friday I sold uncannies for about 850, now I see some for 750.

On Harshlands, it was hovering around the 400k mark, I believe. Don't have any Dreamweaver characters though, so can't help you there. As if you really need it lol.

Token buy/sell is risky with how often PWI is rolling out with packs now a days. I got out of it during last Coral pack sale.
I had a feeling a new sale is going to come so I sold orbs and didn't rebuy and stocked up on gold. I hope no one dumped all their coins into orbs.

The tokens were more of a low-risk, low-return investment, rather than my real working stock, anyway. On average, they cost me less than 10.5k each, so I have no doubt I can break even at worst. Besides, with Tideborn Demon/Sage skills being released, demand ought to be higher than during the last pack sale. Whether it's enough higher remains to be seen. Anyway, I don't consider Tokens risky in the conventional sense. Given how low Token prices dropped, it'd be nearly impossible to actually lose money, but the profits are unpredictable.

Personally, I was expecting a fashion sale of some sort this week, followed by the return of either Tiger Packs or the previous set (Pan Gu/Genie/etc) the week or two after.

Also, people that just dumped all their coin into Dragon Orbs probably won't lose much, if anything. It's more that they won't be able to realize their profits for some time, and thus lose out on the pack sale. The people I really feel sorry for are those who recently bought Tokens, or anything made with Tokens.

I hope it's okay if I ask for some advice here. Well also that I'm not asking for trade secrets that nobody would be willing to tell me.

Right now I have 55 million, and my goal is 100 million (trying to get enough to buy a herc with a comfortable amount of coins left over in order to continue merchanting). The tiger pack sale is only going to last for another week, and I doubt I can get much over 70 million by then.

So I'm wondering if I should buy the +10 dragon orb on the last day of the sale and try to sell that off for profit later. Right now, gold on Archosaur server is 470k-500k (probably going to drop to ~450k at the end of the sale). I mean, I know I can sell it for profit (costs ~35 million to buy it from cash shop but over 100 million to make from 100k d. orbs) but while it's in my inventory, it represents a good chunk of my assets that I'm not able to use.

Archosaur is a new server, so there aren't as many high level people as on other servers. And I'm assuming that only high level people would want to upgrade their equipment to +10, because nobody would want to waste that kind of money except on their end-game gear. Now, probably most of those high level people are cash shoppers or have friends to transfer money over from their previous servers so they can afford to buy the orb right now without going through me.

So basically what I'm saying is that my potential customer would be someone who doesn't cash shop or able to transfer money over from another server. And if that's true, they probably aren't at the level where they would actually need the +10 orb yet. So I would probably have to hang on to it for quite a while.

But my highest level character is only 80 and I've only been playing for 3 months, so I admit I don't know that much about how fast higher levels can level up or make money. Could someone tell me if buying this +10 orb would be a wise investment, or if I would be better off using my coins for other things?

The Dragon Orb Ocean is risky because it's an unknown. I've bought 1 in order to see how well it sells after the sale ends, but I'm skeptical it will out-perform Tiger Packs.

All of my other assets are in Tiger Packs right now, because they are a known profit maker. With the amount of coin that you have I'd hesitate to recommend investing in the Dragon Orb Ocean, and instead suggest you put your money in Tiger Packs.

You know, I posted with Barbarian because I didn't want any unneeded attention on my main. But some people are just that obsessed. A few already figured out who my main is but they had the decency to respect another's privacy.

Before you go dig any further, let me just tell you more about myself. My old main was singsung and she was in "Rebirth" and Nefarious. Then I got bored with veno so I started a barb and here I am now. In real life, I'm Chinese and currently living in Philly PA attending an university to pursue a Bach. degree in Accounting. I play game during my spare time and workout whenever I can but majority of the time I'm working on school stuff trying to maintain my GPA so I can get an internship with one of the Big Four Accounting firms. I also work two - three days a week in one of our family owned restaurants. I just came back from class and took a long dump. It felt really good. Later on today, I plan to get started on my presentation, which is on Monday.
