I have this same problem on one of my computers. Not sure why cause I don't have this problem with any other sites, or the old pwi forums.

I think if you fix the background color to something less bright, it would be a good start. But why are you so bent on not using the old one, especially when most people actually like the old one?

Yes please! Those were so obvious and easy to find! Everything was so simple before!

Maybe keep the design of the old, but change the colors? (but not white =P )

Okay, so it's pretty obvious that a lot of you guys are not happy with the forum redesign, specifically the fact that it is much brighter than the old style. We're already in the process of redesigning the colors and background.

However, it is extremely important to us that you like the forum, and that you feel at home here, so we want to give you guys the opportunity to show us what you think would be a better look for it.

Feel free to use Photoshop or Microsoft Paint to change the colors/fonts around to something that you think would work better. Also, please keep in mind that any kind of change would will need to co-exist with pwi.perfectworld.com, so be careful with the colors

before I knew the forum-look was changed, and when I was going to check out the forums, when I saw the look, I said to my-self *ahh darn, I entered the wrong forum, let me check the url name* <---thats when I realized it was actualy changed >.<

That's because people like to QQ. Maybe old design same white background/black text. As i said in a previous post on this thread the old colours made it unable for me to read the forums without highlighting text, was too dark.

Still I can't figure why blue? I know that this is the color you can make things look "pro", however, the blue link colors must go, because that default thing looks lame, really Q_Q
I'd suggest make them black or LESS "neon"...

It's the brigth blue that hurts, not the white - even though what you could do is go light grey, since so many ppl QQ, because they are the 400 years old vampires playing in their dark bedroom and can't take a glitch of light.

Wouldn't either say "no" to dark colors which would match the navigator up there... (And also would suggest updating the avatars then with new colors or things).

I feel sorry for the designer having have to do it again if it comes to this tho -_-

~This form that change, and a reason why it was changed in the first place.

~For the Dev's to focus more on fixing bugs more than sales.

~Less people QQing about PvP and PvP servers.

~Fix the safety Lock system so people can drop stuff.

~Add more events that everyone can do and get something out of it.

~Lastly fix all the bugs that have not been fixed in PWI.

How dark colours melt your eyes I just won't understand.

I'm used to bright stuff. My background is bright and all the forums I go to are bright (white). BUT I have less contrast at my monitor settings, so it's not BLINDING white. It's just fine =/ Dark background annoys me a lot.
