    If you're going to have header images, show more than just TB. You could even have random header images.

    PWE kinda spammed the Tideborns a bit too much in the website and the new log in window. The Rising Tide expansion is an expansion, not a whole new game. The website should retain artwork of previous content since its still there and add some new artwork, just enough to promote it, but not spam it like this new design.

    if u wanted to 'tidebornize' forums you should make it in darkish neon-acid style -just like TB islands in game

    now it looks like Ether Saga forums

    I think that we see enough of the tideborn artwork on the loading screens in the game itself as well.

    At least that forum is less hurtful on my eyes...

    Why not have a user-choice colour and background scheme?
    I've made one for the Winged Elves, only because those were the only images that aren't screenshots on the site.

    Have the default a TB scheme, but allow the users to change it like in most forums. Otherwise, you can still use the colour schemes in the one posted above.

    It hurts my brain that they haven't shut down JD yet. Game has obviously failed . . . just give it a mercy killing.

    As far as these forums go I think anything other than the whie background on the text side would be acceptable.

    My only "complaint" would be that the main site no longer feels like Perfect World and less accessible interface and layout wise. And yes, it is in fact very, very bright. I understand the need to PWE to unify their sub-websites of each game but it certainly looks better when each game is basicly unique looking, including the websites and the forums.

    this new design is utter ****. it's far too bright. something DARK like it used to be...

    seriously, in the CSS make "FFFFFF" to something semi-dark, and make the default text light. there's not a lot that is wrong with it except the colors

    well, i like the new layout... but since it's going to be changed, i vote for the design we had before
    I have officially "won the game"... Actually, I decided it was time to leave.
    Joined sometime in March of 2009 - right after Dreamweaver opening.
    Retired on March 16, 2010... 1 year later...

    Question, If we find a new layout for the forms, how long is it going to take until the new layout comes out?

    Because, Like most other bugs and stuff in PWI. Most of them take months or longer to get fixed or they just never get fixed at all.

    So, the only question is how long it would take until a new layout comes out? b:puzzled

    Funny you should mention that, because that was my immediate reaction.

    I quite literally logged on, read exactly three threads, thought, "this is quite enough of this nonsense", and Googled "Flash blocker".

    I then came back here celebrated by calling for the death of the Flash banner anyway, even though I can no longer see it. b:victory

    Wow this is terrible, why on earth did this get changed?!?!?! Hmm lets see my presumption is PWI has screwed us over with this site FOR ADVERTISING, FFS dont you guys earn enough money in the game?? Why on earth do you need to advertise other games on your own freakin site?

    The old main page was easy to use, looked pleasant, and had good imagery near any announcements, and the forums were nice on the eyes -.-

    The previous skin and layout was fine, what was wrong with it?

    I appreciate that you're still trying to push the Tideborn expansion but this is a race that isn't even finished.

    Here's a few suggestions:

    - darker skin, please. The button sets that worked perfectly with the old skin do not work with this layout at all. Also, since I'm generally online at night and don't always have my light on, this brightness hurts my eyes. The old layout was really nice, I don't understand why you guys thought it needed a change.

    - remove featured videos from the front page. Naruto? Seriously? I thought I was playing Perfect World International, not watching some anime show.

    - I'm not seeing the point in the Buzz Stream. Maybe it's because it has very little game-related in it and I thought I was on a website that would speak to me about Perfect World International.

    - it's great to see you guys are giving contest winners that little bit extra by allowing people to see their designs on the front page, and the same with fanart, but that widget feels like it could be better organised. Perhaps a small slideshow instead of four static images?

    - enough of the Tideborn already. There's more than two classes in this game, and the old website at least promoted this. (Venos, archers, clerics, barbs, they'd all appear at some given point in the old banner. Now it's nothing but fish.)
