I don't know... This is a pretty violent game. Seems you have an aversion to violence, which may cause you to have a difficult time getting out of the starting zone. Perhaps if you speak to the starting guy for a bit, you'll make good friends, have tea, eat a meal or two, and perhaps search for pretty things in a land far…

I have not gotten any email notifications for subscribed threads either. I went into my setting and made sure i selected the instant notification option, net no notifications. I have, however, received the Beta weekend invite.
Apart from having a group of folks to run with all the time, collaborate with on Foundry work, or for camaraderie purposes, its hard to know what benefits will be there later on when the game gets out of beta. I would assume it would be beneficial for world events (if that is in the plans), or the like. I initially felt I…
Ok, so there will not be a guild name floating over someones head that says they are in a specific guild. But, it sounds like if the guild leader allows the guild in the directory, one could still look to see what guild a person is part of. Good to know, thank you!
It’s good to see your post. Here’s to new friends, and new adventures. If you are interested in teaming up with other veteran D&D and MMO players, stop by our Recruiting Thread and say hello (found in my sig block). We are always looking for like-minded folks. Hope to see you in-game!
Good to meet you. I'm also looking forward to creating Foundry content. Our guild has been putting a lot of thought into what we'd like to do as a group. If you are interested and looking for a home, visit our site (link in siggy) - good to see you, and look forward to meeting you in-game!
Good to see you. You seem to have a pretty extensive background with MMO style games. I played DDO (still do) for about 6 years now, and to be honest, i'm very happy to see this MMO come out. D&D has been a passion of mine for a long time, and I'm so glad there's finally going to be an alternative to DDO coming out.…
In other games I’ve played where pets become a problem with larger groups (raids), the raid leader would simply request all pets be put to stable for the raid. Really no issues other than those associated with lag, IMO. The idea of familiars is interesting.
When I was looking for a guild, one of the more difficult tasks was to find a group of individuals that had the same mind-set and goals as I do. There are a lot of guilds out there focused on the larger gaming community; several touted themselves as multi-game guilds. Some were too narrowly scoped with race or class, which…
Welcome to the forums. Forgotten Realms is a great campaign setting, even without the PnP experience, it should still be a very enjoyable experience. Hope to see you in-game!
