Thanks for the feedback! I'll make sure to fix the spelling error. That's a good point about the amount of encounters. I originally had them patrolling down the path, but there were complaints by people who didn't understand timing, and would end up pulling three groups at a time. Instead, I guess I can lessen the amount…
If anyone wants to trade reviews, let me know. Tonight my time is kind of limited, so I can do a couple. I'll have more time tomorrow, and lots on the weekend.
This reminds me of those review on Yelp, or on Amazon, where it goes something like, "The product is fantastic, the price is great, but I have a headache today and I can't get rid of it. One star." Hopefully you can find some sort of resolution. I think it's been a problem for others as well.
LOL, I just finished and rated it. It was really good. I'm a sucker for puns. The varied settings added a lot to the quest. The Academy had some running, but the placement of gossipers and other silly characters in between made the run not even noticeable. You made me love Pyke, darn you. The moment I saw Golem-Mancer…
Sounds fun, I'll do it. Here's mine, http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?229641-quot-A-Dark-Heart-quot-Part-I-quot-Duskmoor-and-the-Pit-quot.
Oh, goodie. Thank you. "A Dark Heart" - Part I: "Duskmoor and the Pit" Quest ID: NW-DGOYGTA9D By @Dthorsson Average Duration: 28 minutes Story focus and medium frequency combat (med-high in some places), with varied settings and detailed scenery, true to D&D lore (as much as possible), and some humor for good measure.
It would be nice to see the handle of anyone who rates the quest, regardless of whether they left a comment or not. I received my first one-star review, no comment, no way to see the handle, and brought my rating from a 4.4 to a 4.2. . . this just happened to take place a couple days after an instance of ridiculous guild…
Doh! I ran through it this morning and it must have published an older version yesterday, because there were several things wrong with it. I spent about an hour fixing things up, ran through it again, and now the real new version is currently publishing. In addition to fixing the stuff I said had been already fixed, I…
The publish went through. The new version should have made map transitions smoother and I deleted one of the mandatory quest items to save bag space. Wtb separate quest item bags! If anyone plays it and notices bugs, please let me know and I can fix it in the morning. Thanks. :)
Just in case you didn't see it from the other thread. . . If it's stuck in "publishing" how would I cancel the current publish to re-submit? I can't find a button or command to cancel the current in progress publish. Thank you very much! :)

Unless it just for NPCs, on each item there should be a "Contact" section. You could have some sort of dialogue take place or something pop up when it's clicked.
The quest is currently off the Foundry. I tried to withdraw it from featuring to submit a different version, but all it did was withdraw it from publishing. >.> So, I guess it will be back up when the publish bug is fixed. Does anyone know if it's possible to withdraw from featuring or replace the submission with a new…
I was thinking, too, about maybe having Rufus give some sort of warning or segue into the type of trials or environment that awaits the player before they travel there. Maybe then it won't be so abrupt of a change in scenery. That and the having to double-click I will work on this weekend. I've also thought about adding…
Is it the actual Protectors Enclave you're exiting into mid-way, like with other players and things, or is it just a mirror image of it? I'm pretty sure there is a pre-made map in there somewhere that looks almost exactly like it, and you can just add that in as one of your own maps and populate it with NPCs and things.
You have to state in your storyline where you want to leave from, and it gives you the option of several places, including Protector's Enclave. When you choose that as your starting point, it will give you a ton of little nodes on the map that are doors, sewers, etc. ways to enter your map. You will exit your final story…
Thank you for the feedback. I agree, that's one weird thing I had to sort of figure out. . . how is it that this level 15 player can go into the Hells, and pretty much take on someone who would be way more powerful than them. I did figure out how. . . but I'm saving it until the next one. There's a little loophole. For now…
I know you didn't ask, but another shortcut I found on the forum that saved enormous amounts of time was the /loc_vec command. It's especially good for placing items in multi-level rooms. That dang y-coordinate is now super easy to get. :)
They've said more classes would be released after launch. A person's motivations for playing are their own. I don't think anyone can say anything to change your mind if you're not enjoying playing. Find something you like and go with it. There is plenty to do. The action combat, the Foundry, and RP is enough to keep me…
If you go to encounters and check "Hard" you can see which ones are singles. One is a Wight. There are a couple at least that are a single mob encounter. The Wight's abilities aren't so obvious like a Drider or something, so it's an easy way to make a customized costume boss.
