Been working on implementing a story I've written into the Foundry but I'm stuck on something stupid (which means I'm probably being stupid). I have a handful of items I want sprinkled around the map that are not part of any quest but just color in some details for the players. I can certainly make them part of the main storyline but that's cumbersome design to me.
So is there a way, without it being a quest-related object (i.e., on the quest tree in the Foundry connected to something and that shows up as a trackable goal on the player's quest tracker) to just have examinable "flavor" items? If so, how?
Thanks in advance for your answer/s!

Unless it just for NPCs, on each item there should be a "Contact" section. You could have some sort of dialogue take place or something pop up when it's clicked.
You can drop a chest or pile of rubble and have the associated item "drop" loot you create in items, but remember, they will have no value at all and will only serve to take up valuable inventory space. It could cost you a star rating if you have a half dozen items that serve no purpose at all.
