I appreciate people want to make their own builds and play their character the way they want to play it. But eventually reality will hit you in the form of groups insisting on certain compositions. As Trebiat said, for end game you will want a justice paladin tank with PowerShare. That is pretty much a given. People want…
I think, for me, Fey would be better. I am 13.8k and pug a lot. I don't always have a powerful DC or a legendary lion to help keep me alive. When I reach BiS I think Vorpal would be better, but I need a little more survivability. But, to get a Fey I would have to sell my Pure Vorpal and my Trans Barkshield. And I really…
My base defense is only about 8k as well. My bonding gets it up around 16k or 57% or so. I find that is plenty when I add on 10% for being Protection, 10% from divine call, and 25% for CoP.

Most people run companions with more offense runeslots on a pally. I find the Con Artist, with 2 offense and 1 defense is a…
With Micheala's conclusions on Crit not affecting temp HP from TW, does this change anyone's opinion on Vorpal vs Fey. Does this bring other enchants back into the discussion?
Thank you for doing this. So, does using a Vorpal and "criting" not affect temp HP? I see you say Crit affects damage but it does not affect temp HP? Would I be better off with Feytouched as far as temp HP goes?

Some people spend real money on these guilds. The game should not allow one single person to basically defraud a guild full of people who build up his "product" and then sell it out from under them. There should be safeguards.
I play in PS4 and don't have ACT but I think I am going to manually log a fight to see exactly what my owlbear cub is doing for me. I use one because I was under 50% Crit when I bought it and figured I would have my cake and eat it too. Crit, great. Don't Crit, Owlbear cub. But when I do look at logs I really don't see the…
I guess the big issue for me is does Fey's damage debuff make up for the loss in temp HP I would get from not using Vorpal? Which offers better survivability? I am currently a 3.5k with a build based off of Draco's old build. I am wondering if I should sell my Perfect Vorpal and Trans Barkshield to buy a Trans Fey and…
I am not great with the maths. Can someone explain the Feytouch/Vorpal chart? A lot of you guys are super math wizzes. Some of us need a OP for Dummies version. More info on Feytouch vs Vorpal would be great.
I am not a fan of the concept that, rather than fixing bugs, developers just label things as an exploit (see dungeon key peak incident). Fix your game guys.
As a PS4 player I don't have access to good stat tools but I can tell you anecdotally. Resting I have about 25k power. With bonding up it goes up to about 50k. When bad guys start hitting on me it jumps to about 80-90k and can climb over 100k. That is without group buffs. That is from test with some basic stronghold…
Quoted for truth. Unless they changed it, I am pretty sure Mulhorand gear doesn't work well with companions. You don't get nearly the stats you would on a character.
One problem is that almost every pally runs Radiant Strike as their other at-will, and doesn't Radiant Strike not fully refresh the shield like the others? Personally I would go with Oath Strike as your other at-will and skip shielding strike. I believe the power for oath strike is 6% more damage.
There is no doubt in my mind that free to play/micro transaction games are designed to take advantage of people's addictive personality traits. I would not be surprised if one day that business model is viewed in the same light as interest only mortgages and rent to own models as predatory.
I don't have Trans but theoretically a trans gains a stack every 6 seconds and has 4 stacks. First one absorbs up to 80k, second 60k, third 40k, and fourth 20k. After that you will block 20k every 6 seconds unless you get a break and gain more than one stack. It does not seem to work that way. My damage log has reported it…
I recently switched to Vorpal and I am not loving it so far. I can see some of my damage is definitely up but overall I have not seen much of increase in an entire run. I have also traded away some of the Temp HP I had with the Dread. I am going to keep with it because I know it will be better in the long run. I would like…
I thought about the point you made about Barkshield so I am trying it out. So far I like it. The start of the fight is when I am most vulnerable and I often use BO just because of that. I am hoping Barkshield will let me ween myself off of BO. The Barkshield gives me that little bit of protection I need while I get my CoP,…
Any verdicts after testing the new changes? Will lightning increase TW damage to build temp HP? How would that compare to Vorpal or Dread? I currently use Dread for the extra 75% Crit severity on TW. If lightning is comparable I may switch.
If it is still broken it has been broken A LONG TIME with many updates that could have fixed it. Some people spend real money on these things. Knowingly selling people things that you say work but don't, isn't there a word for that?
