Yeah, didn't see him there, but may have missed him. I'm sure i bought enough zen during the times too. Edit: Well dur... He was under "Promo", didn't look there before. I'm derp. :P
I seem to remember this too, kind of sad if it was removed or changed. I could see making it so you couldn't level up companions and put on AH, bots would love that, but releasing it to account wouldn't be a bad thing. :\
It seems pretty neat, a way to level up companions, and put them to other uses. Sort of like, form a party with them, have them go on adventures, on the gateway. http://nw.perfectworld.com/news/?p=1036411
I got used to this from DDO, and was sad i didn't get anything from doing it here. There were some traps in DDO that absolutely DESTROYED me (when i played classes that had trouble with them. It sucked if you couldn't get a good rogue, or any one, but it did make you respect them, especially on hard or elite. Here? Pretty…
Oh man, i just realized i don't remember if rust monsters are in here. Nightmares in PnP, and even in DDO people got scared of them, warforged more so. I doubt it will happen here, but how funny would it be if they ate our gear? ;)
It's mostly because bosses should be challenging. Since the game really doesn't have any sort of death penalty other than the injury thing, if you could just pop right back up, you could zerg the boss down, ignoring everything other than simply dpsing him. Dps, die, run back in, repeat until he drops. This way when you die…
If i remember right, yeah. It would actually be a great raid boss, as the description sounds perfect, also explaining why many different groups could fight it, as it never really dies, just hibernates.
Aren't some companions using your lifesteal as how much they protect or heal you? I could swear i read that somewhere on here. Perhaps it's the same with player healers, i have no idea.
I asked in a thread i created, but no one answered, are those companions actually green level (up to rank 20 instead of 15) or is it just a display thing? With the "extra companion" offer, are both green or just one? Anyone know?
Too bad the pve blows. Hit max quickly, you can go back to old zones, but you will be leveled down, but the rewards aren't useful at all anymore, so why bother except to just have it all clear. Not to mention the horrid platforming, floaty lagging controls don't help there. Kind of worried that foundry will be the same…
Weird, i know you can't out level them, so that shouldn't be it. Did you do the one that takes you through the "vault" thing? It's like a glowy cube zone instance. (descriptive, i know, but forgot the name of it off hand) It's not on the map, and no bread crumb will take you there, but you should have had a quest at least…
I always found threat or aggro in mmos silly. If the mob is smart, it would play like players do, go for healers and spell casters first, melee last. Potions are basically the healing surge of 4e. I forget the exact thing, but i read that they had been working on healing surges, but converting to a real time mmo potions…
Here's a thing i am wondering after playing an alt, the icons for the gear looks different than normal gear, could these be mostly cosmetic gears? There are lot of things you look at (AD vendor armors) that seem worthless stat wise, but have unique looks. Without a preview system, it's impossible to know without buying,…
People don't get that you don't "need" a trinity here, it makes some things easier, but honestly there has been only one dungeon from the queue that i was in a group that didn't finish, and it's because we were all over the place at the last boss, with two of the rogues trying to dps down the boss instead of focusing on…
No 20 pvp gear. It's only level 60. There are tabs on the vendor in the pvp building with the dummies, potions, "special" which is a companion right now, and gear. Not really a point to lower level pvp gear, you level so insanely fast here, you can hit 60 in a few days. Just use the best gear you have at 20, and you will…
I forget, if that's the runestone that says it adds to a companions attacks, then it's logical that it doesn't do anything for you, since the companion doesn't do any attacks. Just reminds me of how wishes were that you had to be very careful how you worded them in pen and paper. ;)
A dev said that every so often rough ones will be auto refined, not sure if it's a gateway bug, but have you double checked and written down your actual AD in game?
This, plus, the spider was in closed beta already if i remember right, and was basically "done" all this time. It was just released now, not them spending time on it. It's actually funny that people are raging about this. Either clueless, trolls or just brain dead.
I know for me it's harder to get a group for them, not being in a guild, and trying to convince people to run a foundry dungeon, which probably don't give the rewards people want. If there was an easier way to get groups for the foundry dungeons, i'd run them more.
There is only the one currently, but they have announced more are coming, when and what are the big questions. Spellstorm Mage is the one we have now, what we don't have is Battle Mage, Wizard of the Spiral Tower, and Blood Mage. This is off the top of my head, there could be more, but that's what i'm remembering. Edit.…
I have yet to be in a dungeon that couldn't finish with a weird mix of classes, as long as the players played smart. The one, and only one that couldn't beat the last, was because people kept trying to dps the boss and ignore mobs. If people would toughen up and at least try, they would be better players, but everyone…
