Adventurer's Friend pack companions?

So i saw that besides the spider companion, there is a pack that contains a companion (also says "an extra one" which confuses me a bit), but the name is green. The companions seem to be the same ones you can get free from the quest at 16. Does this mean that the companions from the pack are actually green quality or what?
