The game is meant to scale pretty low in the GFX department so people with potato comps can play as well. Upgrading the RAM might help alleviate the crashes a bit but it's doubtful performance will improve very much (if at all).
This would alter the paradigm of the game far too much, this is never going to happen. The game was designed around using a very limited number of powers at a time (didn't want to be another WoW clone I guess). It would undoubtedly be useful to everybody but it would also be more useful to some classes than others (makes…
They are all skippable, there is no campaign for these zones. All the time spent in these zones is just to get your lvl 70 MH artifact weapon, if you aren't flat broke and have the dailies for dragon campaign done I recommend just crafting the weapon.
Boot n loot was and still is a problem on the PC version of the game, it was never changed and need rolls still exist. Generally we agree to "need" or "greed" before the run begins, if someone needs when the group agreed to greed, a boot is justified, otherwise, it is not. Unfortunately reporting people for this will not…
As far as I know there are problems with how transcendent feytouched AOE function works and it's giving more than 60% dmg buff somehow and still sometimes buffs mob DPS. This is why you see plenty of trans feys and almost nobody using any of the weaker ones. For you, I suggest stacking crit and using vorpal, unless you can…
I don't see why this was necessary, CW is firmly in the middle for both PVE and PVP, if you want to do DPS, better options exist even without this nerf. TR is the best in PVP and also for PVE DPS so yeah, clearly CW needs to be nerfed...
How about remove the stupid *** ICD... How the hell would this stop botting? o0o0o they have to buy extra lesser dragon hoard's for more bots? No problem!
I don't see the purpose behind the CW SS nerf (clearly complaints from PVP players prompted it). TR's are at the very top of the PVP food chain with no equals (GF comes closest), how is it that SS gets nerfed when CW is hardly considered worthy of the middle spot on the PVP food chain? Not only this but TR and GWF DPS…
The ICD appears to be counted on a per-target basis, this means that SS can still proc on multiple enemies at once from AOEs. The real hit here is that crit severity will no longer increase it's damage, you will never see an SS proc over 50k again (this is assuming it's damage is still based on the attack that procced it,…
TR's are safely at the top of the PVP food chain, without any equals, CW was smack dab in the middle even before this nerf goes live. So, tell me again, why is this nerf necessary and the real problem (piercing damage) continues to dominate PVP?
This isn't something worth focusing attention on during battle, the passive bonuses from arcane mastery is negligible in most cases. Chill tends to be the focus of CW builds these days due to chilling presence replacing the functions of arcane mastery and surpassing them by several times and, of course, the inherent CC.
He means spell storm nerf and it's still better than any alternative class feature, the ICD is per-target. It is a big nerf though (putting ICD OR removing crit would've been more reasonable), DPS oriented CW's will see a good 20% dmg nerf.
Zerg is right, I've ran ECC/TOS with oppressor CW's and they get out DPSed even by my tank OP. The additional CC time that oppressor gets is not nearly as impressive as it seems (those 3 sec additional stun/dazes get cut to fractions of a second after resistances are applied). I'd rather have the DPS than an extra few…
A 50% damage reduction reduction would've been more than enough, they could've also increased it's AOE radius since it is no longer a single-target attack.
I enjoy my tank/DPS/buff hybrid OP, basically just prot oath, justice tree and aura gifts. You'll want the offensive set (the other one has useless HAMSTER like regen on it anyway) and azure on offense slots, radiants on defense. You'll also want a greater or better vorpal if you want to have any decent DPS, I've seen…
Yeah, oath of devotion is not going to have fun in IWD solo, I know you're used to not using shift but you can also use it to interrupt your current animation (much like other classes) and move immediately.
Disable shadows and see if the crashes stop, if not, turn down the presets until they stop. Yeah, the game looks kinda crappy without shadows but if you want to play, you have no choice.
I've been invoking since beta and one thing I've noticed if you want coal wards is to save the boxes and open them later. Opening them as I got them almost always resulted in HAMSTER drops, even with this, however, you aren't guaranteed anything.
Anyway they need to focus on fixing bugs and glitches in the stuff that exists before creating more new stuff... (too bad contractual obligations don't care about that).
Yet another shortsighted moneygrab, I'm sure everybody whose investing heavily now to get the BIS mount will regret it in short order... One way or another, anybody who wants BIS will be upgrading/replacing their mounts.
Many players with mid/high end GPU's are getting these fatal client crashes since many patches ago, the only thing causing these (for me) is shadows. If I set the shadows above minimum my GPU crashes catastrophically in short order (client gets trapped perpetually in virtual memory and other problems)... All I can suggest…
