I had something like this happen last night actually. The room with the first boss in it was completely empty and the portcullis at the back was down, so we couldn't continue. It happened twice in a row but I kind of assumed it was just the same bugged instance that I was joining.
Occurrences like that in the OP are rare so it isn't really something worth making in-game changes about. Most of the stuff that drops in dungeons is unidentified so it's not possible to tell if you actually need it or not.
Challenge of the Gods is a mildly entertaining addition. Sometimes when you kill an enemy it will drop a new 'challenge' icon that will acts like a quest. You might have to kill 5 enemies within 3 minutes without using any of your at-will abilities to complete it, and you'll get some minor rewards. Zen market update is…
I think it's because that particular zone has lower-levelled characters in general, and also because the zone chat seems to be broken for that area. I remember typing into the zone chat with updates on how long until the dragon is to appear, but I never see anyone else saying anything at all.
When you bought the zen on the exchange, did you actually withdraw it from your balance afterwards? I too had a moment of anguish and rage before I realised there was another step to go through after buying it.
Upgrading companions is a waste of money/astrals. Here's a list of the companions you can get from the game - http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Companion
Hi, Strum, and welcome to the Xbone Neverwinter community. What's your Xbox Live Gamertag? Sometimes I get angry at life, and my therapist has advised that sending needlessly aggressive and abusive messages to online strangers is an important part of my recovery process. thx
Even though it was only four days ago when I used mine, I can't quite remember if it's something that actually appears in your inventory. I think you just go to the your Feats screen, scroll to the bottom, and click on the 'Use retraining token' option that will now be available.
During a dungeon run with some guildies last night, we all laughed heartily during the final boss fight. I say 'laugh' in the loosest possible sense, of course, because emotions are mixed when the game is running at about 10 frames per second. And this was after we all followed my suggestion of dismissing our companions.
An external SSD would make very little difference. There were some tests done on the PS3 were they replaced the internal drive with an SSD, and there was little improvement overall.
A few people have mentioned that clearing their cache has improved performance, so maybe what you did also resulted in the cache being cleared. Didn't make any difference to me when I tried it though.
Agreed! Drives me mad when I go on there, somehow battle my way through the broken filters, only to see that the one item that might be useful has a 5-day wait on it...
What you're doing is fine - the problem is with people picking up the loot in the middle of a fight, and blocking everyone's screen with the loot window.
It's completely free to play. The developers make their money from people buying extras and stuff for their character. It's certainly not pay to win, as you can do pretty everything without ever paying a penny... it's just that they'll take longer to get. You can plug in a USB keyboard and chat, though it has to be plugged…
I didn't actually know there was an issue with this... I had just assumed that everyone was ignoring my constant "Charthraxis in 5 minutes, instance 253" comments!
Yup, it's called a Companion Upgrade Token - http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Companion_Upgrade_Token They can be found in the [Companion Fortification Kit] and the [Companion Upgrade Token Pack].
