Charthraxis Empty Area

Why is no one fighting this dragon? He is a part of the Harper Quests, yet no one is ever around. I have this quest for two or three days before I can complete it.

    I have the same problem, all the time. Go to Helms Hold and the chat is filled with spammers and people chatting. Need something? Just ask! Go to Ebon Hold, you'll never need to worry about finding a group for the Black Dragon there or when it's up. The chat in that zone is littered with "drag in 4min 129" messages. Now, go to Neverdeath Graveyard. No one is talking and anything you post falls on blind eyes. It's making completing the last two completions unbearable.

    It is quite annoying. My guild is always all over and there isn't enough of us yet to kill it alone.

    I think it's because that particular zone has lower-levelled characters in general, and also because the zone chat seems to be broken for that area.

    I remember typing into the zone chat with updates on how long until the dragon is to appear, but I never see anyone else saying anything at all.

    I ran into that issue yesterday, however the day before there were tons of people. The issue we had was that everyone was lagged to high hell and the timer to defeat kept resetting to 3:17 minutes after nothing was moving for 2 minutes flat..

    Many days there are no daily quests that give sigils or arcane lore, so I'd imagine many just skip it. In every other area there seems to be atleast one daily that will give one of these. Dragon coins seem to be almost worthless.

    Just switch to another instance with a larger amount of players.

    For me, it's never about not having enough people in the zone, it's the amount of 1) idle players in at campfires, 2) broken chat functionality in the zone.

    If the chat system was working correctly in that zone, it would be a whole lot easier to get my last Charthraxis kill to move onto the next part of my ToD campaign.
