I agree it is a bit hard for the beginner. That said, after just playing around with it and watching a few video tutorials for it, it's not as bad as it makes itself look. Here are the tutorials I watched that helped me out a bit. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4srx8udaMnSdS00Ji5xtfQ Hope they help. Also people are…
I have a few suggestions. 1. Better search function for foundry. Make it easier to search through foundry quests and filter stuff better. 2. Instead of having just a chest at the end, why not have a chest at the end of the adventure that gives you a token. Have really nice level specific gear available to those who save up…
They could just make separate q systems. One for guilds and one for random pugs. Throw in some randomization on the guilds being q'd up and that might make it work better for everyone.
Normally I would agree with the OP. This might be a different case here. It's going to depend on how fast they can crank out major updates with new content to mow through at higher levels. At the same time, if people do become bored, you can have up to fifty character slots (although, if you fill those up...wow). Not to…
Respec tokens are the one thing...the only thing I wish they wouldn't charge money for. Yes, I know you can buy 'em other ways than Zen, but still....It's the only thing that screams at me cash grab from this company. Everything else isn't all that bad.
I'm sticking around. I figure if I get bored, I can go play GW2 for awhile and then come back. I'm thinking about making it my goal to see how much I can get out of this game for free :) I like the challenge of that. The one thing that is keeping me glued to it at the moment though is the prospect of using the foundry.…
I don't see why they can't have a limit hard coded into the foundry that allows you to put x amount of resources into your map. Like maybe a total of three for a large map and a total of two for medium and 1 for small. Make them randomize so it's not always the same one and make them only work twice per account in foundry…
I'm kinda thinking that it would be better to be vocal on that point myself. If they don't know how upset people would be without the respecs, then they might think it would be all right not to include said freebie. I have faith that they will go ahead and give em out anyway, but it can't hurt to let them know all the same.
It's all game mechanics. Unfortunately we may be wise to wait until they have the majority of the game itself cleaned up and working correctly so they can dedicate more time and effort into the Foundry when they get to that point. I'd rather them do that than make a quickie half arsed patch for the Foundry in between big…
