Hero of the North, you seem to have stockholm syndrome. The fast speed at which you get to the node allows for you to cap it and let a few point ticks happen. By that time the slow 50% guy rolls up and you fight. But how could I expect someone who is deeply bonded with their captor to understand? You don't have this issue…
Because people will buy them. When you are in pvp and racing to the node to cap it, the free player will ALWAYS lose. would you like to always lose? No? Then http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0c3bhh8fqYs
Nope, because there are none. Sloppy dev's they are focused on making more $40 mounts. re-hashed sword skins for all! Unless you pay money in the shop for skins. That is the plan make all gear look like junk, then put cool skins in the shop to force people to buy different looks. Very D&D of them.
Yeah, patience to explore and enjoy the game is one thing. Having mechanics that create a hostile group environment is different. This is not a patience issues here.
Good point already. I can add also, they don't care. Players (OP especially) think that businesses respond to feelings and emotions. That is wrong, they respond to bottom lines and shareholders. OP states, "this is my baby, I love this game." That line tells me and any business minded person he is will cave on prices in…
Some people comment, based on zero information. Anyway, I just did some foundry quests. Try some story ones. The companions seems to level up fast enough like that.
Right, the idea that the argument for this NOT being a pay to win game is: you don't have to do it, or It can be done ingame. This is an informal fallacy, because you do not have to do "it" is not a proper argument. Much like a mother telling a child, because I said so. If you can, do it, it's pay to win. Not if you don't…

Someone is in a very deep state of denial. Last I checked, open beta does not mean all sales are final and credit cards are accepted. Some people desperately defend games, as if an attack on the game is an attack on their person. "It's not open beta you FOOL! I am normal and healthy person!"
But the fact that you can, makes it pay to win. Don't be dense. You don't have to do anything, ever. Just because you don't have to do something does not invalidate an argument. I don't have to travel across the earth to know it is round, not flat.
if only people knew how true this was, PWE is just behind EA in terms of greed and the ability to ruin games. Build a game, milk it, move one. This one could've been huge!
