people do use private channels. My guess is most have 1-24 custom channels they are in. Most of those channels are used to form groups. If your not a part of them, perhaps ask a friend what channels they use.

I can tell you trivia gets silly. Its nothing but laughs and good friends enjoying another aspect of the game that has nothing to do with item level or gear chasing.

I know its late, but healthstones are the most worthwhile thing. The small amount of mount tokens is insignificant for now.

I do hope they scale the chicken/xuna to be appropriate soon. Always makes me chuckle when my very strong barbarian gets out dpsed by KFC in a dungeon. Jarls gaze, valenhas soldier helms, demons gaze, and a few others. My dragonborn have 7 helms to use, not fashion items. I am sure there are more I just havent searched.

I am always sorry to see people not having fun in game. My answer is, do what makes you happy. I would always say join a large alliance so you dont have to pug, but we know alliances and guilds also contain people that are new, undergeared, and want a tomm carry for lionhearts. I wish I could respond, but I have not run this at level since mod 14 launched. I would say premades we always win. I don't pug more than 1 spot usually and even then its from a zerg channel, never use lfg channel.

The other choice is wait for winterfest and do gifting parties. Easy way to earn a bunch of companions as well.

New lockbox is very lackluster. New legendary mount stats and powers are very underwhelming. I may get the companion for my warden ranger (aka ninja) to see how often it procs. Thats about it.

Most Barb tanks require everyone letting them get off a full rotation before getting threat. Pretty much sentinel is just used to pop random ques. Minus the 10 or less good barb tanks in game.

It likely won't change for quite awhile. The aggressive roadmap upgrades and content ( i am excited to see if they can pull it off) doesn't leave much manpower to fix issues in what will become older content. Back to using chain of scales on alts lol.
