  • Let's refrain from devaluing other builds if you have not tested it yourself. Powershare is only one attribute available to those who go into the Light tree. I do not believe a "Standard" build is the only way to go in this game. Again, note the focus of the current build is to Tank and debuff, not to DPS and buff.
  • Should be corrected now.
  • Check out my build. I run it in PVP and quite often find myself on the long term standing side.
  • Updated and added new screenshots of active companions, summoned companions and power point distribution (at 84 points currently).
  • Awesome guide. Looking forward to running with you guys again. Perhaps this Friday with the new loadouts?
  • I very often find myself on the bottom of the dps charts, but thats ok. Just means I'm doing my job as the tank. @rubytrue and @"veywiil#8685" run as devo and do some pretty nice damage. It really comes down to what do you want to do. I do have plans on testing a devo build with my current gear set this weekend (or before…
  • I'm currently running Bullete pup (summoned, rank 40 with 3x eldritch runetones), sylph, will-o-wisp, rust monster and energon. The added bonus of a 75% CR and 25% CB (control resist and bonus) is a nice addition. I'll swap out the wisp for the chicken for bigger fights as needed.
  • I really loved the idea of having a very fast Divine Call Regen. I still think you're on to something, just need to define what that something is. I would like to test another OP's CoP and see how it impacts combat. Perhaps a few runs tonight or sometime this weekend could give us some data or at least fully test the…
  • Sounds like a plan. Had fun last time.
  • I think it goes without saying that it depends on the build and intention of the player. That's the beauty of Neverwinter and the versatility of the builds. One of the issues I personally am encountering is half of Bulwark is not even worth taking currently because it is not scaled with the current content. I have left…
  • Here's a pretty simple rundown of the OP Tank. Rather you take Justice or have figured out a viable Bulwark build (I am currently working on someonething towards Bulwark because everyone else is Justice and worried about DPS). The ideal base DR is around 65% as @armadeonx has stated that they are around the same. Below are…
  • Updated build to reflect what I am currently running. I personally am loving the damage debuffing build. I have refined it to where tanking Orcus isn't even a stress anymore. My iLevel is sitting around 3250. I'll update the build, boons, gear and etc later.
  • Have you considered a Barkshield? Trans gives 4 stacks (80k,60k,40k and 20k) and it regens fairly quickly (3 or 4 seconds. It's one of my treasured possessions right now.
  • There is a catch to having these multiple debuffs. You will not always have 100% of these debuffs on your target at once. Sometimes Rust will not be applied. Other times Chicken will not be applied. Other times you may have only two stacks of Bane on your target or even one stack from the Valhalla set. It's the reality…
  • To put this into perspective, here is a screenshot of my defensive stats while standing idle (was farming resources in Whispering Caverns, non combat). The screenshot obviously shows that there is no Campfire buff, so what you see is pretty accurately what my stats are. Wide Screenshot DR is not a concern for me at this…
  • I believe head unbowed does that, once you are lower than 30% HP in which is not optimal for the content (means you are one swing from laying on the floor). Perhaps that could be reviewed as well.
  • I believe the formula you are using is the DR or Defense debuff one from Kaelics, in which is also credited in Sharpedge's last update. The debuffs in question are damage debuffs. If you could provide a source of this formula, then we could run the numbers accurately. http://imgur.com/3b8EWgk - This is why I question the…
  • If you guys would like, I would love to jump in and see how three Paladins would do. Taken for granted I do not run Prism and my Lifesteal is low.
  • That's what I thought as well, however the numbers are not matching up to what I had previously saw. With that being said, the image does show the minimum damage was 0. In there, there were hits in the 20k+. I will be running him again tonight, in hopes to actually capture some of these very low damaging hits (maybe if I…
  • Tonight I changed from the T.Plague Fire to T.Fey. Here is the results from the Orcus fight with the Fey. Overall, I did like the feeling and half way thru the fight the DC did go down. The changes to Aura of Truth seem to be impacting, but something still felt a little off during the fight. http://imgur.com/MmPQh1i
  • I have been wanting to evaluate a T.Fey for this build as well, as the secondary focus is debuffing. The damage side would be nice little addition as well. As I had just switched over to a new PC, I am hoping to have this build updated with what I am currently running. Traded out two comps for Slyph and Will-O-Wisp for the…
  • I personally like the barkshield. The 3 seconds goes by much faster than you think. The full stack (4) ends up saving 200K in hp. At the rate Orcus hits, you get at least a 20k in savings when it comes to damage taken at minimum. It's also really good to have for the green orbs. Usually absorbs those hits when they drop on…
  • Just an update to the build. I have moved over to more of the debuff side of the OP. Switching out comps to align with bigger fights. Using Rust Monster, Chicken, Energon, Bulette Pup and one depending on the situation. I have replaced the Tenebrous with Radiants for the time being in hopes to test some other theories.…
  • So, Purifying Fire isn't so much about how much damage/healing that can be done but how much aggro gain it has (since it gets added from At-Wills and I personally use Radiant for the charge + small 20' AoE/Blast). Way back in the day, Prism was useful in that sense with any healing (including LS). My Prot build (since…
  • I think it comes down to your playing style. I can see an argument that this is nice (for a debuff tank) vs not so much for another. I am currently working on this set to Legendary so I can replace the Tia set I currently have. It really just comes down to playing style and what is going to benefit you.
  • I have a pure shadowclad and it seems to perform well. It does give the extra 4% DR per stack (max of 8) as well. Unlike its Trans. version, it does not cause the invis, thus no loss of aggro either. My base deflect is somewhere around 10%, can grow up to 18%(gives 10% of your rating per stack, so this number will vary…
  • I recently picked up playing a Templock and its has seemed worthwhile to run with. Here's been my experience so far. New skirmish does not guarantee a healer. Thus, if you can heal AoE style, then there will be a higher rate of success because of this. If healing isn't this "huge" faction in endgame, then why would it…
  • As I've said on my build post, 65% seems to be this minimum golden number for DR for OP's. Since I have switched over to more of a Damage Debuff base, I've seen Orcus' numbers drop. I think with a good combination of Damage Reduction + Damage Debuff and a good pool of HP, tanking should become better than feeling like a…
  • Just to cover it all, here is a list of all things that give bonus DR in terms of build/feat/encounter/passive/companion. Compaions: Frozen Galeb Durh - 10% as your take more damage Feats: Lights Shield - 2.5% Stand Fast - 5% while not moving Warriors Bastion - 10% to DR Rating (depending on your stats, this could very…
  • It really would depend on if you do not think you are getting enough aggro. I can see a case for it, but again, it is situational. 3x Loyal Defenders (They are fairly expensive now, but give a good heap of threat) might be another way to gain it as well.
