Aranea sucks compared with the lightfoot. Direwolf has the best sustained DPS out of any pets I've owned. It also has the best AI. Why in the flying rip the $200 panther is so stupid is beyond me.

I lost all interest once I saw during the AMA we get two T1's and a single T2 to do. Where do we get gear from? The refinement circle got old about 6 months ago. Having no reason to do dungeons got old 6 months ago.

But then again I do have a "mount" problem, like some people have companion problems. At least with mounts I can just take up bag / bank space and not have a finite amount of room like we do for companions.

I think this would be a great feature, if they ever release stables so our mount collections can be on display. I'm hoping for that with Player Strongholds (which I take as Guild Housing, but maybe it's individualized, we can only speculate).
