that is a death trap in the fight you do have a limited time to destroy that portal or it is a game over wipe. That being said I have run dozens of CRs but I have had it happen three time total (on 2 different runs) that you can zero time to destroy it. I'm sure it is a bug.

As I'm sure you know at the top of each section there are items that rotate that you can make. Half the time the item in question is rank 3 outcome of one of these. So it might say you are going to make gem pants, but if you get rank 3 you will make gem elemental pants.
agreed you don't get an error message most of the time the game just kicks you out and you have to fully close it and restart. These have been happening for months for the record. One of my guildmates has it happen at least once a day if not more.
