I haven't played Neverwinter in a long time, but I'm sincerely happy to see this. This kind of patch needs to become the norm, not the exception, as it currently is. More patches like this, please. I used to like this game a lot. I wanna like it again.

I know this sounds cynical, but just give up - you'll feel happier because of it. It's a bit hard to get it out of your system in the beginning, but after a while you'll have a hard time even opening the game. It's not worth the stress.

Hasn't changed anything as far as I'm concerned. I have a limited time I can spend in game, anyway. Tell you what though, it made the Gateway pretty useless. For al I care, they can go ahead and remove the Gateway completely now.

They could make so you can't reclaim the mount once you have it in your inventory/bank or equipped. I mean gear keeps it's identity, and changes only it's looks when you transmute it. After I'll experience the changes in xp, difficulty, vigilance quests, and especially because I'm happy with M7, I'll be happy to join the VIP program.
