I feel as if the stacking heal over time was exactly what Lifesteal should have been. The only thing I am concerned about, is will the warrior classes get punished because of chance modifiers. And it's looking that way. Either keep the old lifesteal, which has worked as everyone's consensus, and allows high single target…
Quite frankly, This is -less- damaging then the new lifesteal, but no less infuriating. But if cryptic insists on changing it, I enjoy this option more. It has a degree of reliability.
Exept for one thing. The differing specs mean that at the end of the day, we choose what we are. I play a Sentinel GWF and am leveling a righteous cleric. The current queue system allready limits who we are in the eye's of the party, I dont wanna be limited more because of stupid arbitrary decisions of the game makers,…
I do not beleave the new lifesteal is viable without a drastic increase in chance. And even then, why? The old lifesteal was what left one still suspectable to spike damage. If Cryptic insists on pushing difficulty like tyranny of dragons, you need to keep the old lifesteal. Because without it, and the current chances,…
We dont know yet. Allthough i'll rail against the lifesteal change for as long as it's up for debate, if they're -going- to make it a real chance, they need to up the base chance or increase the ammount you get from stats -drasticly- or risk making Tyranny of dragons unplayable.
One thing i want to ask. Are these subject to change? It's allready unanimous the Unstoppable nerf goes to far, but are they really going to change it?
After doing a few test runs on my Ranger, i can safely say, maaaybe the changes need toned back a bit, but they -are- solid. A combat HR can now stand the **** up to his enemies, and a ranged Archery spec, can now do what it's bloody well supposed to. Maybe a little too well, but still, they can. I like the changes. Maybe…
After just playing on the test server, i can officially say, you overdid the unstoppable change. As an experiment, because i focus on -nothing- but PVE, i went my GWF, who has all boons, both sharandar, and Dread ring, and went to the dread ring. There, i aggroed two groups of mobs, just to see if i could hold. Now, keep…
Uhhh, It dident make them obsolete. A TR without the aggro still kills stupidly fast, but with no DR at low levels.... Look, the dude in scale shouldent be as squishy as the TR. We have. No. Other. Option. Like all other's have said. We have no dodge, we have no stuns, we have. This. And this is being nerfed to near no…
And the general consensus, is that aside from everything with Unstoppable, these changes are good. Including my opinion. The unstoppable changes is where the backlash comes from.
We arennt personally concerned about PVP. No one is complaining about PVP. We're concerned about a GWF in a T2 dungion, as the change is blanket wide, not just PVP.
Now, i like these changes. I like how this class has alot more clearly defined. And the melee now makes sense, more lifesteal, more damnage potential. A great step, i support it fully.
I once again must question why you are detroying a class for PVP. Once again. Dial back the nerf. Make it 20-40, or 15-30 when in unstoppable. The Great weapon fighter was built to be the best of both worlds. I built my GWF on a mixture of both. Forceing me to spec differently just for what i want to do, is not helping.…
Dident mean to mispell my words, but it provides the perfect point i try to make. Rogue and Guardian fighter's are extremes. The Great weapon fighter is versetile. And it's better then both. There's no two ways about it. They want to ballance it? Make each class better in their own respective fields. Their doing the HR…
The Rouge class is burst. The GWF is Sustained. Their helping kill the target's faster, it just happens that Sustained damnage counts for more on the charts. The GWF is allso the one generating more threat and taking fire -off- the Trickster rouge. So once again, they are helping from a gameplay standpoint.
It is supposed to be the cross between the trickster rouge and the Guardian fighter. It is supposed to help one out with it's role if it is absent or unable to take the full load. It is, little more then a fulcrum. The Control powers....let's be honest. The GWF dosent have alot of them. It's supposed to help with tanking…
I agree completely. You have to equallize the playing field, but debuffing the other's isent the way to do that. The HR is geting fit for the new content, it's geting more offense. The CW is geting downgraded so they cant stunlock everything. I agree with the statement, and the idea. Not how their doing it for the GWF.
Yet nerfing the other classes deminishes their roles and inherently breaks the game, cause the GWF, the interfearence man, the dude that can take and dish, when either one's not there....cannot do his job anymore. As just an example.
The GWF was supposed to be a cross between a TR type burst damnage, and a GF type tank, that is the interfearence runner. That statement is fundementally flawed.
What it seems is happening here is the guy's are geting Nerf happy. That...dosent make sense to me. The HR can be tweaked, and it would be just fine, and the GWF's just need -tweaked-. I'm still the guy rooting against this, but thinking a 20-40, or 15-30 nerf for Unstoppable would be fine. They need to work with that they…
Unstoppable is geting nerfed unless you Spec Sentinel. In order to keep your DR, you have to completely change your spec. I dont think forcing me to change my playstyle and build style is not a nerf,, i think it's a nerf and a way to make me pay for more respecs.
