You should check out Fighters Recovery and Enforced threat with a full DPS GF. Hitting 5 targets will heal you to full if you land a crit. What is your armor penetration? That would be the first thing to look at if your attacks are not doing the damage listed. I play a GF with 2k armor pen and my attacks often do more than my listed damage which is already very high from having 9-10k power. Debuffs from GPF help

It took 7 GWF's for me to find one to exceed my Aoe damage. Now I can't confirm the builds on any of these GWF's and if they had Deep gash or not.
