  • this is my first time hearing this... how isnt this knowledge well known?
  • It's actually a debuff applied to the target so all benefits
  • main DF for pve, the bleed is everything. pvp as well but SF has its uses there as well but i never use that anymore really. btw, this topic is something that was spoken about on this forum already, you'll be able to get more details on the skills by searching old posts
  • I play everyday and i feel like i'm not the most suited to answer your question, but hell no one else is, but its as u say...i'm too much of a casual player to know the bis stuff cuz i still run elemental gear, but for the most part i think you're right
  • Powers i often use are Dazing Strike, Smoke bomb and lashing blade. I swap out smoke bomb for wicked reminder on bosses. dont have blade flurry (fury cant remember) but i hear that works wonders with lurkers assult, i jus spam wicked reminder cuz of the multiple hits i get with lostmauth set. Lurkers and whirlwind of…
  • Honestly, I dont see how WR and Sly F. in your rotation would give you greater dps over other TRs when they benefit from your debuffs as well
  • this ^^ I also came back to NW after an extended break to mod 6 and was totally lost. To get this gear, you would need to run T2 epic dungeons(2000+ item level dungs) and collect Seal of the protector, trade these seals at the vendor to collect item level 135 gear. The chest costs 600 seals, arms, legs and head all cost…
  • The struggle with that companion upgrade cost is real
  • Piercing damage still r@pes deflection
  • Duelist Flurry. I use it for everything, i slot SF as secondary over CoS in dundeons sometimes as it helps me do more dps if i wanna keep a nice bleed on a target for a bit longer as compared to spamming DF and getting all kinda different bleed numbers. There was a time i'd never consider DF for pvp but its become very…
  • i'm dex/cha and deflection wherever i can get it, was 51% at scoundrel and i'm down to 44% as an exe. Sadly, i've never been sab on Sugar (hey Atwill  ). I went scoundrel cuz i thought i could get the most out of deflection and still have a build both usable in pve n pvp. Would love to hear more about scoundrels…
  • imo any sab build should be better than scoundrel in pvp(WK or MI), the dazes arent potent enough and piercing dmg cuts through defection like a toothpick in hors d'oeuvres even with the SO nerf. Since you need cc's to increase dmg to players, most of the time you'll need either dazing strike of SB slotted anyway if you're…
  • i played scoundrel build from the start of mod 6 up until yesterday when i decided to go a full pve MI exec build for more dps in epics. scoundrel is great for deflect, i had 52%. I rolled with smoke bomb, ITC and dazing strike for most pvp matches and together with my crit dazes, i could easily lock down one player. The…
  • i play scoundrel as well and i think this build works best if you're stacking deflection and life steal. Every one of my defensive slots get silvery. Arm. pen. isnt tough to stack anymore so i'm trading off some of my dark enchants for radiants for more power or maybe silvery, but i've never really valued recovery that…
  • havent paid too much attention on the new enchants that feywild brought but afaik vorpal seems to be best here. I'd recommend a greater or perfect if you can afford but starting with the regular vorpal enchant (25% crit severity) if fine too as the others are really expensive. I went Soulforge for my armor enchant. I…
  • its still only 400dmg per deflect so it isnt that powerful to kill stuff while afk

  • power + deflect here too. Deflect built w/ sinister set so was a no brainer for me. Also saw one of the final tier abilities give 400 damage to attacker each time u deflect so interested in that too

  • Impact shot and shadow are two main abilities that i use for solo play AND often for grp play too. Dunno why you'd add those 2 as most useless TR skills. Smoke has its uses too, especially in grp situations. For me it'll be: ~Courage Breaker ~Path of the Blades ~Sneak Attack ~Infiltrator Action ~First Strike I chose these…
  • you can still jump + attack, that was not taken away....you jus lost some of the damage u got with it. No nerf to mobility was done with this. Sigh, are you even playing TR? Cant you try that out yourself?
  • this happens to me all the time, even before feywild. Might be a problem with lag but i normally get knocked down as i cast the skill, i the effect isnt activated and i goes to cd :(
  • you guys do know that you can still jump + attack right? I feel like this whole thread is exaggerating this particuular nerf. TR's are far from useless. And btw it was not a bug. All they did was remove the momentum build up from jump cos as compared to standing cos. Can you explain to me how that is a bug being fixed, as…
  • TR's had the biggest damage nerf this time around. This nerf made Code Breaker and Gloaming Cut useful abilities(lol). i feel like i'm wasting a daily when i use lurkers now.
  • been getting bumped around a lot myself, hope its a bug that will be addressed
  • wish the timer was still there though
  • the change does seem worth rolling a new char for. 4% defense reduction doesnt sound that good on paper to me
  • What if i tell you that you can effectively counter a build that sacrifices a lot with a build that sacrifices a little, would you believe me? A perma rogue has to choose specific ability scores when creating their character; they must level these scores with each opportunity they get ignoring more dps orienting or class…
  • dont mean to sound like an *** here but if the other person is of equal gear, then shouldnt their soulforge be equally useful to them?
  • compared to the other TR T2 sets swash is a bit too much. It gives both the master assassin and sinister shade bonuses (give or take) and allows for 100% up-time while the other 2 sets have serious limitations on the activation of the 4pc bonus. The T2 sets should compliment different builds, being more effective in some…
  • perma-stealth is indeed getting nerf'd. Yes TR's will be running around unseen but they'll be trying to kill players with snowballs at hand. This nerf would force perma-rogues to leave stealth in order to dent the hp bars of other classes. Take some time to read the perma-stealth guide and you'll see how this affects them…
