  • We all just want to feel pretty, after all! Haha
  • That might be a coding issue with interface and input options. And they could argue that one as a security feature . . . techincally speaking it's easier to recreate keystrokes than mouseclicks. Not saying the latter can't be done, or hasn't been done, just that it's not as simple. I don't disagree that I'd like it better,…
  • Thought of additional things,; added 9 and 10
  • Oh I know, I was more referring to an occassion when I couldn't share the first quest in a chain, but I could share the third. The person that was running with me had done the whole zone on that character already, so it made no sense to me. I'm sure it's a random issue that will either fix itself or I'll learn to get over,…
  • Forgot one; added number 8
  • I wonder if you could have the boss-mob be spawned but not visible until a certain component is reached, that way it would just appear in place of the vanishing mob? It sounds like a good idea in theory, I suppose practice could be a very different beast. Thank you, though, everyone for the input and help. I think this…
  • Updated question: Is there a way to create a costume and have that NPC be hostile? I have searched and searched for this function, but cannot seem to make it happen.
  • I would like to start by saying that the biggest reason I use Windows (7, because 8 is stupid) is because it plays games easily. If it wasn't for the compatibility issues, I'd porbably be on a custom-built Linux machine. My girlfriend, however, like her Mac . . . a lot. Most Mac users like it because it so user-friendly…
  • I can't believe the flaming going on here over this. The Foundry needed to be nerfed some, it has the expressed purpose of being to players to create whatever they want (as the paper version of the game does) and it still follows the same set of rules (slightly restricted, even) as the primary game. Cryptic will work it…
  • On a side note, I did a Foundry solo last night and got a Nightmare box and a couple of items to ID.
  • Because there are race and class quests that add different aspect to the story archs you've already played. So if you're mad at a company for wanting the replay value of a game to be there and to be admired, and to be actually used, then I have to ask why you're even playing games like this in the first place?
  • An afterthought I had: [5] I would like to see the Archery Ranger be next in the class list, or something similarly based. I feel like there are way too many people up close in the fights, so some RDPS might do us well.
  • I'll try that out, that's not abad idea. Kind of like a mini-skirmish in the midst of my personal dungeon! Looking forward to trying it out.
  • Will do, I'll try it out and see if I can't tweak it for what I'm looking at, thanks!
  • Agreed, my friends and I wasted about fifteen minutes all staring at the registrar reading and rereading everything because we didn't understand. Finally one of us hit the forums and found the answer, so we spent a bit leveling the two under 15 to make it all "legal". It would be nice to have all the requirements truely…
  • Agreed, you can say a lot more sometimes in five words than you can in 50. Especially when you impliment the story correctly with the visual element the is ever-present in video games. I believe if you're story is solid - not lengthy or wordy - and you have proper pathfinding elements - inspect this object, acquire this…
  • While I understand, kind of, why this is . . . I don't like it for what I'm trying to do, lol.
  • In all things, remember that this is still in beta and things take some extra time every now and again. My first quest didn't show in the search for nearly a day, regardless of showing published in the Foundry screen.
  • Can you up the health of an encounter in the editor some where?
  • While not a "true strafe" there is effectively a strafe feature in the game. All you have to do look forward and move sideways. I understand that you might want to strafe while attacking, but there is not attack-move feature in D&D games. (Before it's said, I know some of the abilities move you forward, but that is an…
  • I think I'm confused a little by the wording and lack of extra information. If you were level 11, why did you expect to be able to mail something to yourself? Had you purchased Zen or a Founder's pack? While those two aspects would be assumed to be account-wide, I would figure that if you don't meet one of those two…
  • Plus, if you simply tied killing the mobs to the quest then you'd end up with unreachable objectives.
  • This actually answers the bigger question I've been having in my mind lately, thanks you very much!
