my advice would be to glimpse the provided info for TR builds to get an idea of how you want to build your toon, but ultimately, build a toon you'll have fun with. I think a lot of us get wrapped up in making a specific toon with specific stats to maximize this and maximize that and if we can't have the best we don't enjoy…
with a perfect you deal an additional 12% of weapon damage as Necrotic damage with every swing and reduce their defense by 20%, you can't go wrong with that kinda sustained damage output....
I have a lvl 60 CW that I got bored with so I've been leveling a GF and TR. I've noticed that in pvp with my lvl 46 GF more than a few TR's pop their BnS on a node when theres little to no oppposition there and stealth away. Are they doing it to intimidate any opposition that might be lurking around or does the…
One of the things I've learned the hard way is that the more details you add to the map the more rendering someone elses PC has to do. It's easy for someone like me who has a pretty beefy rig to add a crazy amount of detail (objects, npcs, effects, etc.) and not have an issue, but 50% of the players don't have massive rigs…
That's the truth of it. There are so many details that go into making a foundry quest it's kinda mind boggling and its extremely easy to get in over your head and give up. I have nothing but respect for the people who have created these quests on their own. 15 minutes of game play for an average player = days and weeks of…
It's funny, throughout the history of MMORPGs that have pvp and a rouge type class, these conversations can be copy and pasted and it wouldn't matter what game it is...
extremely long matches is why I stopped playing League of Legends, the thought of dragging out a match that long loses it's appeal for such a low glory return to the loser...
I've never intentioanlly AFK in any match, but when your down to 2-3 players on your team that's when I type in chat "hey, you guys want to swap cap points?" or "anyone up for a duel?"
What's funny is that other classes can tell what your doing by the long animation for aim shot and the counter is easy, just pop off a ranged basic hit to stop the channel.....the fact that your totally immobile when your using aim shot makes it even worse.... You see clerics and CWs running around with channel abilites…
in pre 60 matches teleport is da bomb yo! Once you get used to dealing with TRs you can time their "leap in the air all-in-one stab you in your soul" ability and teleport away and throw a choke on them as you run for the nearest GWF for uber protection....but than again running for your teams GWF might spell your doom as…
yesterday I was logged into my lvl 60 CW and I was exhchanging out enchants and armor (left me with a GS of 8K) and hit "K" to see what was available and inadvertantly joined the pvp que. The match started and I had no access to my bank and I did not want to leave so I cowboyed up and realized I was in a game with everyone…
you can already buy a respec coin in the zen market, adding an ability score coin would make a sound business choice for Cryptic, I mean this is a FTP game and adding another money making pathway only makes sense and everyone wins
I actually just started looking for a guild myself so don't really know different guilds and their play style, but there are lots of them recruiting in-game, there's even a forum here to sift through. Personally guilds are fantastic and you can only benefit from being in one.
I think the best option for finding a decent group is to find and join a guild. Most guilds from my experience have vets that are willing to help with strategies and walk throughs. Joining a random dungeon que is a lot like flipping a lit cigarette in an ocean of gasoline and is also for those looking to get the "walking…
I'm looking for a solid friendly guild to join. I'm no stranger to MMORPGs and pvp, pvp being my speciality, dungeon runs my second. I've been playing NW for a few months now and have a lvl 60 CW and am currently grinding a HR, lvl 26 ATM. I'm also no stranger to guilds, having been a part of a competitive one for the last…
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but a CW end game isn't as powerful as you might think. Post module 3 end game pvp is all about the new armor sets and tenacity which in turn have made our CC's a thing of the past. I've played with and against geared out GF and those muthas are node capping capping freaks lol
The only DC's that I've seen who can put a hurting on a CW is one that is spec'd out for crits so they get those insane burst heals. I think those that complain about nerfing CWs are those that play random pugs pre-60. There are to many factors like gear and enchantments that come into play and everyone's GS is nothing…
I'm one of the mages that went mixed Thaum and mostly renegade for the crits/damage output from day 1 and I did top the boards up until lvl 60 and from there I would top the boards about 20% of the time, I was gunning for the pvp titles. I do realize that after a few weeks and especially with my crit based build I'm not…
