I love how you loosing your item was in no way Cryptic's fault, or anyone else's, but you carry on like they are failing because they don't instantly give it back to you. So when you crash your car (when you're old enough to drive) you will throw a tantrum at the car dealership because they aren't giving you your car back? Or perhaps when you drop your ice cream on the pavement you demand a refund from the icecream man?

Is this really what Y-gens are coming to...?

After the real-life threats you put in this thread, I don't think quitting the game is going to be an issue.

Oh stop using an eye for an eye as the basis to justify your lack of mental health. An eye for an eye is a principle which states that a person who has injured another person is penalized to a similar degree. Asking someone for example, to at the very least try to be comprehensible in their sentence by properly typing their sentence or put punctuations, does not warrant threats and nonsense about karma as a response. Your response is on the other hand much like an immature raging kiddie who tries to use dyslexic as an excuse to his immaturity and sick mind.

Seriously. I have a lot of questions here. Who is your daddy and what does he do? How did you manage to type in a website and actually get to these forums? I am thoroughly impressed. What is the highest grade you've completed in school? (homeschool doesn't count). Have you ever seen a pair of HAMSTER (not on your computer)? Are you a southerner? What kind of internet do you have? (Extremely surprised if you have better than dial up, because you are so ****in backwoods it isn't funny) Is your mother also your sister?

They won't help with lost items. Their 'auto response' when you submit a ticket tells you that.

When you go to delete an item and it asks you "Are you sure you want to discard this?" don't click 'yes'. It's not Cryptic's fault you did this. Getting angry with them and quitting is just goofy. Learn from your mistake, take a deep breath, and move on.

Any soldier fighting in wars of the last decade or two needs some poking so maybe they wake up a bit and find out what they're really fighting for.. Sorry for my honesty...

A soldiers job isn't to think. If we did, we wouldn't have signed up to fight at all. Specially with statistics like our life expectancy being something like 2 seconds long in a fire fight!

    Yeah that's completely the point.

The soldiers who actually fought for our freedoms DID think and fought for good reason. The soldiers fighting today SHOULD think about what they are really fighting for.

They were fighting for the same reason as My dad did... Because they were ordered to probably after being drafted. Don't forget, Every soldier that signs his/her life away also swears loyalty and fealty to TPTB. AND are trained to follow orders without question. So if you don't like what we do, point the finger at the real problem, our governments. They give the orders we just carry them out.

whoa guys... this thread is about the hilariously inept and barely literate OP and his idiotic crusade to blame someone other than himself for being a complete 'tard...

    it's not about soldiers.

    although... /salute

You take an Oath to protect and serve the Constitution, not to blindly follow orders. HAMSTER soldiers were just following Hitler's orders, it doesn't make it right or them not part of the problem.

It would be nice if dropping an item onto a UI window didn't friggin try to delete stuff.

So irritating having that pop up whenever you miss the tiny item slots in bags or AH.

I accidentally deleted a piece of gear taking it on and off over and over when testing stuff. Just HAMSTER.

And Who wrote the Constitution? You swear to follow the orders of your commanding officer, If you haven't been in, you wouldn't understand how things work. Blame those in charge. If you don't like a sculpture you blame the artist not the chisel. My job, as an Infantry Marine, was to kill people. Lots of people! Those people just need to across the firing line for them to qualify as "Targets". So if they are pointing a weapon at me, I know my job, and can do it.

So ignoring all the trolling in this thread, any word on whether they can do item recovery? I was dumb and accidentally discarded my Blades of the Grand Warden thinking it was going to put it in my inventory and unequip it. I don't know why my brain thought that, but it only took a split second of that confusion and poof morning ruined. I'd just upgraded an enchant too. :(

I know it's my fault, so please spare me your condemnation. My only suggestion would be perhaps change the term from discard to delete with a stronger warning specifically mentioning if it's unrecoverable or not. An automated service like WoW's would be great too.

Edit: Eh, forget it. Everything I've read says response times are slow and item recovery is unlikely. I still think the phrasing should be changed from "Discard" to "Delete", time to get new blades and move on I guess.

Heh, yeah, sorry about that. Didn't feel like starting a new thread and there aren't that many on here about this, nor an official response in the knowledge base. Would be good to add something about item recovery policies in their FAQs, or maybe I missed it which seems just as likely given my stupidty today haha.

I was going to buy the Dread Ring blades today anyway, but got the Grand Warden ones in a DD earlier so was like SWEET and now I'm like DOH!
