Pack that you buying for money, will give priority acces when game will LAUNCH, not in open beta time! If you dont interested in being beta tester of NW, making bug reports, and want just pay money and play game then just wait for launch! Beta is part of developing process
About game, its has good graphics, I like combat system, only thing is mechanic that you dont regenerate HP out of combat, kinda not fun, probabaly just go spoiled with games, when you get full HP after each combat. Also, if there is acton combat system, then I think all classe should have block, not only guardian, and switching from shoter mod to RPG mod, like in STO would be greate, and out of combat sprint that doesnt eat stamina. I think its part that MUST be in any MMO.
Just so you know this is DnD and does stick to the rules of the game as such. Which is most likely why HP doesn't regenerate. In DnD you either heal with spells, potions, or rest. I have yet to actually play the game in the dreaded queue.... I can only speculate that is why it's like that though.

I would just like more shards for us to access. I understand the beta process, but am napping during these hour long queues.

I've gotten in game 3 times now. 45 min wait each time. I started out in queue around 6000, down to 2k, up to 80k, then in, each time. They have to be aware of the issues

there was a promise for paying players to enter the game without waiting in queue. thats why i said that. and ofc i know its beta and has many problems.
I guess I'm jaded. After much rinse/repeat with game releases I've been though, I'll never pay any money in any way for a game because it's 9.99 times out of 10 going to be messy, screwed up, buggy, ect, until it's been officially released on the market for at least 6 months. I get pissed off when s**t doesn't go right as well.
So promise, or no, it's business as usual.
I'm not dissin' you or anyone else that dumped money in already. I almost did as well.

same , I understand but if you pay to play ahead of time and can't get in. Something wrong with the server levels
If everybody had purchased the founders pack, and was trying to log in all at once, there would still be a queue, and what would it be then? "I bought mine first so I am more entitled to play than you?"
It says that all the shards are offline due to maintenance on the launcher message and I didn't see any messages on the forum about the 1st of May maintenance.

I see that i am in queue behind 7k that sometimes jumps to 100k ... is this really happening ... the game was running well for the past 3 days and now it is just queue and queue and wait ... SIGH !!!
1. Launcher does not load - This is being investigated right now and will be resolved shortly. It will be updated here. Update: Resolved. Log in and play Neverwinter!
2. In-game lag/latency/rubber-banding issues - We're working to improve your in-game experience. Report any in-game issues here.
3. Many players can't wait to play Neverwinter! If you're in a queue, we're updating our status on how we're improving the login process and wait times on this thread.
I would love to log in and play but there is upwards of a ten thousand waiting list just to get in to the game. PLZ open up more severs
So I just tried to open the client and it brings up the whole "Trying to update the launcher" i then stays for a few minutes and then says "The patchclient got a message while it was in a state with no response function"
Help please

LEMME ask something guys! is NEVERWINTER free to play or not??
coz it looks like loaders can play much rather than regular gamers only! it sucks!
I didnt payed for any pack, just downloaded and already played alot, yesterday, and today, just got patiense in Q, go to Q, then alt+tab your game and go watch, I dont know, Lord of The Rings, to get in to fantasy, Every 5-10 min check your position in Q. Numbers are bugged, dont pay attention to bigger numbers, just wait, and if you alt+tab game you still will progress in Que.
arghh...I am among those that got a long queue, 5 minutes play time, then servers come down..../grrrr....I am definitely not going to subscribe to the game, even if I do make the occasional zen purchase.
Read the server status on the launcher, and read the forums and check the Devtracker... The answers you want are everywhere, you just have to look. Please and thank you.

It would be nice if server heartbeat or status could be determined from within the patcher-launcher instead of relying on the forums or other external sources. In fact it would be even nicer if that heartbeat-status indicator in the patcher-launcher linked to a particular forum topic for non up events or states to keep discussion about those particular down events consolidated and summarized.
Edit:
The message I got from the patcher was as follows:
Connection problem
Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your Internet connection. If problems persist, please contact Technical Support.
OK
While I can appreciate that a lack of client connectivity is a common cause of problems, this doesn't indicate to me that the servers were down...
Y'all are killin' me with the "I'm so angry there were login problems the first day of open beta!" Have none of y'all played an MMO in open beta/early access before? I remember in Age Of Conan there was no early access because the servers couldn't handle the stress untill street date. These things happen. "Chill, Winston."

I wish I could see the server status on the launcher....actually I wish I could see the launcher at all. It's not working for me :P
I do agree with the poster above though. Hiccups are to be expected...especially as this is the first day of an open Beta. I haven't done any beta testing, open or closed, where there were no issues. Yes, some went a little smoother than others, but there are ALWAYS bumps.

In the top left corner of the launcher, there is a server status light. Green dot, online. Red dot, offline. Check the Devtracker for information on server downtime. There is also a message on the bottom of the launcher specifying the estimated downtime of the server (7am-11am PDT).
