Launcher stuck at white screen.

    I am having the same issue, once I got it to actually display something but it was mostly a blank page with very little actually loaded in. This tells me that Cryptic was not prepared for launch. This seems to be a classic case of lack of bandwith.

    and here I thought that being HotN owner would make us skip ahead of queing.... but for that to happen we actually need to be able to get into the game....

    Launcher worked absolutely fine till the timer for open beta ran out. The launcher proceded to crash as i tried to log on and now it gives me a white screen, sometimes it gives an error. How can the launcher work absolutely fine then 2 seconds later crash over and over again.

    Psst... two things:

    1. This is Cryptic/PWI we're dealing with.
    2. It's 16 minutes after launch.

    Being unable to load the game/login is completely normal on launch days.

    Also I too, get the white-screen, but I thought the game had corrupted or something... that's a strange way to gate the login.

    had it ready to login when the countdown finished. Hit login and the client crashed with an error message (cant remember what it was).
    When I reopened the client I got the same white screen as mentioned here.

    They announced that the crash was a known issue and they are investigating it currently. look under news and announcments for updates.

    Damnnit I was ingame earlier, since you could actually log in a half hour before the countdown ended.. But I made a character on the Beholder server... which I guess is french. I logged out to make a char on dragon but now I just get "connecting to the account server" until it times out...

    USEYOUR GAME FOLDER TO START !

    f.e : Cryptic Studios/Neverwiner/Live/GameClient.

    Now pay me a 1$ for this advice :P

    Even the forums is running alittle slow... Funny thing is that even STO's launcher is stuck on the white hahahah

    Same here, I patched the game just like an hour ago, closed the launcher and when I opened it again to play, I got white screen :/

    This dir doesnt exist on my computer... I'm guessing thats the default dir though.

    Same white screen here. I was playing last night also. And the forums are really slow.
    No one can play the game, so we are all here. lol

    I still get a time out on the server when i use the client, but at least there is flames and music, and it feels so CLOSE haha :)
