Change the resources purchased, with currency, to UNBOUND or nobody will want them! I think every well recognizes that the currency Vendor previously offered vendor items that were Unbound, so you'd at least be able to expect even if it offered a 50% exchange rate towards the newer item. But it should NOT offer an previously unbound item in exchange for a now Character bound item.
Especially on currency VENDORS please: try ensuring they all are updated 1-999x ! My goodness... While I've gone through most of the material fairly as fairly and objectively as possible. Change the currency Vendor so every item offers the 1-999x purchase option. My goodness I found it only offered 1 or 2 amount the hundred's of materials. And my goodness nobody even wants the stuff that's offered because it bound. So you're likely just going to force everybody throw away everything they've worked to saving at this point.
Why are professions showing as level 35 not 70 as indicated this a BUG?
Why does Artisan's TOOLBOX on Wood Crates (Workshop) as all artisan's as Uncommon? Still every Commission or Speed Multiplier boost you are given shows the boost en? quality artisan, regardless if they have a 50% speed boost, 75% speed boost or 100% speed boost OR even higher? Some can even be as fast as 150-200%. So my only guess is that and some that quality is a total combined of Commission Multiplier and Speed Multiplier yet still most seem to only show as either common or rare quality almost exclusively though I've seen at least one epic. I still think something isn't displaying their TRUE quality properly on Preview in the current build.
----- NOTE: -----
At least if we click the GEAR icon in the artisan's table or dashboard in workshop we can at least set the View to PREVIEW future recipes, or those with unmet requirements to see what UNLOCKS at 61-70, or how if any changes were made to Chultan Recipe's, before then getting into Mastercraft I/II, III, or IV-V levels as their group into.

Also everybody is NOTICING that professional levels are set at 35 not 70 like indicated?
So despite having fully levelled several professions to 25 previously now you have to spend time leveling Leadership or Gathering from 35 --> 70 again, or Blacksmithing from 35 --> 70, Armorer from 35 --> 70, etc... I mean this is likely a mistake so HOPEFULLY will be FIXED prior to release?
When reviewing new applications, it would be nice to have the ability to scroll through each applicant. If i only have space for two more artisans, but I have 5 applicants, I would like to review each applicant before deciding on who to accept.
-Delivery Box is too small. -Only be able to launch 3 crafting tasks, and 3 gathering task is not a good thing when old system let us launch 9 tasks when all slots are unlocked. Does other slots will be unlocked in the future ? -Artisans applications and quality/number/choice feel like it will be hided behind a paywall (zen) with a lot of RNG involved. -400-410 blue pieces of gear craftable at level 70 are a joke, out of pleasant skins for few of them, they are worse than current blue gear looted from mobs in a stats point of view. -Stronghold crates recipes are missing and i feel very bad about them. -Gold cost for few tasks is prohibitive, even more when RNG God give you artisans with a +150% cost "bonus".
I don't see any positive aspect of this rework. New system feel designed to be non-noob-friendly and not rewarding for thoses who don't do mastercraft.
I think most of players will not play this aspect of the game, and the most notable effect will be a slam in AH crafting Economy, you know, the AH, the most used AD Sink of your game.
Curious to see how you manage to force people to stay out of the most used Ad sink, when you change every other aspect of the game "beacause there is too many ad in game".

At the material vendor, there is only one material where you can specify the number you want - for everything else you have to buy a single one over and over and over...
-I agree that the delivery box is too small, Can you let the materials stack inside the delivery box? -The Quest to upgrade to level 2 is frustrating, I spent a good hour looking for the materials I was trying to craft before finding the option to display options that I couldn't currently craft because I didn't have the materials, can you add a tutorial that explains how to show these crafting options? - Crafting is a massive time sink and incredibly frustrating in general. If your goal was to reduce the number of people using crafting, you've succeeded beyond your wildest imaginations -I haven't progressed to level 40 in one profession, even though I've started at level 35 here and I haven't unlocked the ability to remotely access the crafting. If your expecting to have people progress while adventuring, don't hold your breath, that won't be possible for the vast majority of players. No new players will access it I'm betting! -I cannot buy multiples of some materials, Please add the ability to purchase more than one crafting material at one time! -I've replaced the crafting implements but I cannot replace the workers I used to have. Why can I not purchase Artisans to replace my workers?

I do think the "reduce the number of people using professions" thing is very much working as intended. It's just kind of disgusting when the solution is to deliberately make the system unfun to interact with.
I dig complexity to some point, but when the interface is obnoxious and inefficient, that's when I get frustrated.
The cost to be able to upgrade lvl 3 workshop is UGH. 500k crédits Worth 1.5m ADs or 165 Adamantine Assets is overdoing it. The other choice being crafting items Worth 300 crédits make it so that a workshop will be done for Christmas maybe? Impossible to upgrade worshop at lvl 3 even if this Clement person keeps telling me to do so.
I did not see anything showing what your choice of Retainer does? Is this simply cosmetic?
Currently there are no kit recipes. Will compelling recipes be added?
RNG for your artisan stats seems off. I did not see a significant difference in blue versus white. As has been mentioned, you cannot tell white/blue/purple when selecting the artisan. You only get their starting stats. Can you provide some explanation regarding the differences in white/blue/purple artisans?
This is a nerf to experience and RP for alts, since Gathering does not give your character experience nor bags that can be opened for RP. However, if you select Jewelrycrafting, you can make RP stones.
When the delivery box was full, the gatherers still gathered items. When I emptied the delivery box, the overflow items were added to the delivery box, not instantly, but faster than normal gathering. This happened to me when I was gathering the Stilled Water. Was this intentional? How large is the overflow?
First of all, I think it is definitely a change from the old system. Interesting as well.
When I hire my new crafters, they are all level 1. Will I need to level them up even though my crafters were all epic under the old system? I did not see any way to hire higher level crafters.
I would like to see a slider for buyer mats from the materials vendor. Currently, have to buy them 1 at a time.
There was no exchange for:
Mithril Crucible Mithril Mortar Mithril Philosopher's Stone
There is no exchange for Green+ level materials. Not sure if this is a bug or if they are remaining as materials.
There is no exchange for the Forgehammer. I had it in my bank.
After many many hours ... I gave up I am stuck I need to make a Brass Ingot +1 .... i cant for the life of me figure out HOW to make a +1 anything anywhere... anyway

There are some big, big problem with the profession redesign.
People may enjoy doing the professions as they level up, but just consider what happens once you hit 70. Currently new 70s are basically expected to go and get the Vistani gear. It is therefor utterly pointless to include any recipes for level 70 gear that is worse than the Vistani gear - nobody will want that gear. Theas means that a significant number of recipes are just a pointless waste of space.
Just about the only useful non-masterwork recipes were the armor kits and jewels. I cannot find them anywhere ... is that an oversight, or are they supposed to be removed?
There is a handful of useful items at the masterwork V level, but they are just the same as before....so, a handful of rings, weapons for DCs and.....uh....is there anything else? Seriously - Is there anything that is supposed to be worth making? If so, I haven't found it yet.
Now, previously many people were running leadership tasks non-stop for RPs. Now we can pay something like 1 Gold, 39 silver to make a black opal...and yes, that's after I obtain the raw black opals and the whetstone.
So, just tell me this....just why should anyone want to bother with Professions?
After many many hours ... I gave up I am stuck I need to make a Brass Ingot +1 .... i cant for the life of me figure out HOW to make a +1 anything anywhere... anyway
Keep trying to make them and let your artisan level up, or try to get a better tool for them if you can. When your focus is high enough you will start making +1 ingots, you can see your chance of making one in the top right of the window when you're setting the recipe.
I've been on preview since it started and I've been upgrading my workshop but now I'm stuck. I completed the task to get to level 3, but I didn't receive the item from Clement Montworth (I had the dialogue, I saw the box, but it's not in my inventory so I can't activate the upgrade at the desk). Also I'm not sure if masterwork materials are useful at some point but so far I haven't been able to trade them. Not sure what to do with my guild marks now... (Edit: OK I can see Masterwork recipes now and they're using the same mats as before so the Explorer's Cases are still useful apparently)
To make Gemstones that convert to RP, each time it will consume a Whetstone of proper level to achieve end result. At this pace, just to make RP you'll be gathering resources JUST to make the items you need to craft FOR the item you are trying to craft.
It's a huge 'item wall' now; should have known when we saw 100s of recipe ingredients. Before it was log on, do professions; post Mod 15 it will be: Week 1: Gather all Ingredients Week 2: Craft Supporting Ingredients Week 3: Craft Items you actually want
It's going to take you this long because 300 'morale' will evaporate quickly each day, all the while you are spending your gold. In contrast, a resonant Bag only takes 16h max to collect. On that note; WHERE else now do we find Moderate & Greater Enchantment stones? The RNG Invocation bag?

There's also the extortionate gold cost to making gems, I worked out it will cost about 5 gold to make a black opal, and relative tot he amount of RP they give, the costs of lower tier stones are in line for that. So judging by what's on preview now it will be prohibitively expensive to make gems for guilds in mod15.
The system is unintuitive, complicated and unfriendly for players! English is not my language, which makes it more difficult to understand the Hamster you created. I hate this change. Professions have always been a favorite part of my game, but you decided to take it away from me.
Better to feed the troll than listen to the idiot .
I used to launch Leadership task for RP, XP, Gold, Diamonds crates, and Jewelcrafting for Gems crates.
While i'm not too anxious about RP, since you add a lot of bound/direct RP with content (chests, HE, Overflow xp reward, Unsalvaging gear), i don't feel good about Gold since new system cost a lot, XP, since the new system don't give xp anymore, and Crates for Stronghold.
Without Stronghold Crates recipes at low gold cost, this new system is useless, and we need a counterpart like reducing Stronghold costs for Gems/Surplus/Gold/Diamonds.
For people that have maxed masterwork, the progression and existing recipes recap says gutted. What does this mean for existing materials? Are players that have all masterwork maxed already, going to be subject to more recipes to get back to where they were? Are players that maxed masterwork in Platesmithing and Mailsmithing, going to be compensated for the merging of the 2? How are masterwork assets from each profession going to transfer? If you have 3 masterwork assets for jewelcrafting, will you get 3 masterwork assets in return? What will happen to the masterwork assets from Mail/plate if they are merged into a new profession? Will players get special compensation for the black ice gauntlet, or will it be treated as every other tool in transfer? The price has already dropped on them from 1 mil AD for a blue gauntlet to under 600k.
It's very unclear how you progress your workshop up in levels.
Also I agree with what others have said, you can't see all the applications before you are required to accept/decline one and it would be nice to be able to do that.
I don't see the recipes for the Elemental Aggregates and Unified Elements anywhere in the system - have these recipes been pulled? You needed these for certain other recipes including the armor kits, which also don't appear to have carried over currently. Hoping this is just an oversight for preview?
Lastly - there's no part of the tutorial/intro quests that tells you how to filter/preview the recipes - that would be nice to bring to people's attention
That said, the entire interface is very un-intuitive. Maybe if I was starting as a brand new character and ranking this up as I also leveled it would make more sense, but even then, there are A LOT of items to be gathered, crafted and stored that makes this seem quite overwhelming, especially if you can only choose the one profession at the outset.
Also the amount of experience needed to level up the artisans seems a little high to me but honestly having leveled all the professions so long ago it might just be that because you can only do 3 tasks at a time that it feels like its taking longer.
from what everyone is saying i think personaly that the new system will need a lot more work before its ready for the public server. i just hope that they extend the release date to fix the system or keep the old system until the kinks are worked out.
also you say you want to make the system less tedious. From what ive seen it seems more tedious than the existing system.

They're making it less tedious by making less people do it, so it feels less mandatory to keep pace where everyone else is at.
They do that by making it unplayable! Well, that's one technique...
The quest that's supposed to appear at level 40 did not appear for me. My character is level 40, the profession I chose (Blacksmithing) is level 40 AND the crafter is also level 40. What am I missing here?
Edit: I ranked up Jewelcrafting and the next quest appeared, clearly something not working right with the Blacksmithing one.
Unable to level workshop to level 2. I picked Linseed to deliver, completed that, opened the box and then it just stops. Retainer (Forem) tells me I will get a new quest once I have a profession that is level 20. I had Alchemy and Blacksmithing at level 35 and jewelcrafting at 9 (Alchemy is now 36, as I tried to see if it meant have an artisan at level 20). The option to upgrade to level 2 is greyed out from the master desk. I have consulted with my partner who has been able to upgrade his workshop with no difficulty and he has confirmed I haven't missed anything obvious.

Check that you made / bought the correct stuff, IIRC, You need the high quality versions, (Linseed + 1) etc..
