@tenetomb ty, I'll stay with vorpal in this moment. For some reason my vorpal is binded to char... so I cannot sell in order to change it. Anyway I'm using HB now, so it is good.
Guys I've a question: yesterday I've drop an Owlbear Cub level 20 (that have 20% of active bonus). At max level (40) the active bonus is 50%. Now my question is: if I level up from level 20 to level 30, the active bonus level up too? e.g. level 30 is 30% active bonus...?
Now we have great ways for playstyle I think. Full power, bit lesser power but more buff/debuff and so on. I like it.
And STILL I've sooo much to do... relic gear, guild boons, personal improvements... anyway of my gearscore.
But RNGesus hates me
Anyway... SW still standing good I think. We (I) had too much trust in TC before patch I think...after patch the damage goes down and we're all shocked. But after a few improvements, a bit change of powers and playstyle the damage goes up again (not like TC, but good in my opinion).
Just wanted to chime in on Mod 11 and say I don't see any major, or even big minor, changes to the SW coming our way in respect to builds and such.
I've been keeping abreast of the Weapon Enchantment upgrades/balancing, and have been looking at the new Relic Weapon sets (my SoMI set is at Epic, doubt I'll grind it to Legendary with the new ones coming out) to see what looks best. With that said, that's the only changes I see at this time, maybe a new Weapon Enchanment (though right now I think Vorpal/Dread are still the best choice!) and maybe a new Relic Weapon set to get for an active bonus or what have you.
Hope that helps with your planning for Mod 11 guys and gals!
@kolatmaster ty man An advice: I haven't maxed the Twisted, in this moment I think to not spend any other rp on it and decide if start to farm SoMI set or new set... I'm just started SKT (bother about campaign in the past months...).
Also, about Owlbear Cub: do you have any info about active bonus % and companion level? This is what I wrote some posts above: Guys I've a question: yesterday I've drop an Owlbear Cub level 20 (that have 20% of active bonus). At max level (40) the active bonus is 50%. I love my owlbear with my HB Fury lock. He's a wonderful little critter, always contributing. I named him after his utility. "Pillar of Pwnage", there are many like him, but that one is mine ☺
About my question: due for wiki http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Owlbear_Cub at level 30 was maximum level with 50% active bonus. Is this correct or there was a change on the companion and the wiki it is wrong? Checking the Con Artist the numbers seems correct to me, but on Fire Archon it seems wrong... Anyone help me to understand?
What do u mean with "Check out encounter descriptions compared to ingame"? On my future ToDo there is the upgrade of Cub, but not in this moment... the first "quick" step will be upgrade it from 20 to 30 and I hope that the active bonus will scale accordingly...
Any news about Weaponenchants and usability for warlock in mod 11 so far. From the very short impression I got on preview, the overall performacne for SB is not that promising, like 4-5% damage from Lightning and Bilethorn (singletarget). So all we got is Vorp, Dread and Feytouched, right? DT only procs WE once, same with BoVA. POP only triggers once at the start, no clue how aoe spells like FB or AoH will do in mobgroups. Only intersting thing I saw is Bilethorn + Hand of Blight (melee) so far , about 30% more dps than Hellish Rebuke !...but I doubt you can stand against a fully buffed GWF like that (depends on the GWF by sure)
For single target Vorpal and Dread are kings, and for AoE Bilethorn and Lightning are Kings.
Personally, I plan to stay Hellbringer at this point and continue to use Vorpal.
If your a Soulbinder I'd probably go with Dread as Soul Scorch and Dread are BFFs...
For AOE, Bilethorn and Lightning are both viable, but honestly, we are more focused single target DPSers overall... I mean sure we do AoE, but we'll next compare w/CWs-GWFs-HRs in that department, so why bother?
Guys, with respect to weapon enchantments, its far too early to say what will be best for SWs. The biggest reason is the new enchantments scale with power, meaning solo testing on test dummies is a waste of time. In group content, where I hope you're seeing 100,000 to 200,000+ power, I expect the new weapon enchantments to shine. Consider this along with the current meta of excessive cooldown reduction from DCs and OPs and you'll be seeing these enchants proc quite often, even if they dont multiproc off encounters. (Yes, the new enchantments scale with buffs but so do vorpal and dread.)

Well I got my info from @thefabricant / @fernuu and my own (albeit limited) testing. As far as I know, Vorpal is best for HB and Dread is best for SB, as solo-target damage is what SW are all about.
Sure, we can do some AoE, but there really isn't any point when CWs/GWFs/HRs and arguably TRs just do it better then us...
I'm fine with our role, as we are the Boss Killers. At least that's how I see it currently!

That's what I'm saying the last days... we are for end game content with high HP on the enemy side. Not difficult to see in fight...aoe dps goes down, single target it goes up...and then really good.
I'm fine with that too... so it depends on gear, rotation and much more, not because of we are the "best class". Sure, a little buff would be fine (lower CD on encounters maybe...) but I can wait...
It's the only thing i don't do as you do, fellows HB SWs XD
Maybe because i can't run Fbi and svarlorg yet. (3050 GS but can't get 28% frosbite resistance yet, the campaign grind is insane, PS4).
I dont use vorpal because it needs foes with enought hp for vorpal to kick in otherwise , in group, things are already dead before the effect really shine. I prefer dread and from my testing in the end i do better dps overall with dread. When i use my encounters (arms/ fiery bolt) i strike multiple ennemis hard and just switch to KF for single target (crazy dmg with KF and dread). Multiple targets hit with my encounters at once aply dread debuff and dmg to all of them, HR apply the vorpal dmg only to one target. ( as far as i understand it)
So in the end imo, vorpal is good only for endgame with foes who have a lot of hp or single target in casual content.
Since i'm not there yet dread is the best option for me until i can run endgame dunjeons
But who is to say, really? So far, I have seen basic testing, which is fantastic. However, I imagine people may wonder what its like to stack 6 radiant 12s on their companion and push a pure power build with less than 100% crit chance. How would this compare in endgame content to a dread or vorpal with less power but 100% crit chance?
All I am saying is I'd personally like to wait and see what happens when people dedicate their builds to optimize these new enchantment changes as they have done for vorpal and dread.
My SW has been on the back burner while I have been playing other games. Ran my first mSVA a couple nights ago and my power nearly hit 300,000 and effectiveness peaked at ~325%. It was an under 6 minute banner run without using you-know-what. This is where I would like to see how the new weapon enchantment changes compare.
Neverwinter tends to get quite wonky and does not behave as expected, especially when you add more fuel to the fire.
The above .gif is tongue in cheek btw, and mind you we are NOT perfect, but we do put in time for testing and research. Thus, Lightning is better for AoE, but for single target your better off using Vorpal (HB) or Dread (SB). Basically, let the CWs/GWFs/HRs do the trash clearing for you as your job is to kill the boss.
Basically, let them go before you as the garbage men/women and you follow up behind them...

Appreciate the content!
Followed your mod 10 HB Fury build. Just recently switched to SB Fury for mod 10.5.
Running
ED/DSA at wills
KF/FB/BoVA for AoE KF/FB or HG/ SS on single target
With Brood and IS
I've seen my damage decrease significantly from HB Fury. Any tips?

Ty!
Mod 10:
[Combat (Self)] Critical Hit! Your Killing Flames deals 16636893 (1009292) Fire Damage to Ethraniev Marrowslake.
Mod 9:
[Combat (Self)] Your Murderous Flames deals 376274433 (18876929) Fire Damage to Red Tiamat Head.
