1)I personally likes the pure terror because of 40% decrease for enemy power and defence , but on the other hand i heard feytouched not only take away 18% damage and transfer to me...and can have 3 time ??? so does it mean 18% x 3 times = 54% damage to me from a single target ?
That I honestly don't know... I'm under the impression the intent is to just have 1x of the 18%, but if it's taking all the 18%'s and adding them together, that really makes it a tad absurd!
what stats have you all been aiming for? I primarily was looking for just power, recovery, and defense. After attempting a T2 dungeon, is it worth going for some deflection and regeneration? Or was my demise largely a case of the dungeons being overtuned? For reference i'm at about 2023 ilvl with 109,546 health and 7496 defense
My guild mate said 40% defence & power from pure terror is just a meh compare to 18% DAMAGE...because he said damage is definetely better than power or defence..is that true ?
18% more damage is great if you already have the opponent debuffed to 0 DR via ArP.
Terror is also available to the whole party, as it is a debuff. So you an do small DPS yourself but thanks to your debuff the rest of your party does more damage.
So it depends on what is happening at the moment for what is better.
For PvP my rotation depends on what is in my party. If there is a DC then I can pass on healing, if there is no DC then Cleansing Touch and Lay on Hands are both really handy to have around.
Otherwise in PvP I usually run Aura of Courage, Aura of Truth, Relentless Assault, Templar's Wrath, Smite, Shielding Strike, Radiant Strike, Divine Protector and Shield of Faith. DP stays, Shield of Faith is rotated for Lay on Hands or Judgement according to the way the match is going or need.
Thanks for posting your build.
Obsidian Moonlight - Paladin Obsidian Oath - Warlock A whole lot of other Obsidian toons as well.

Recovery isn't as necessary with the Justice tree, IMO, but it's never a bad thing... Overall, Power/Critical Strike are the best Offensive options once you reach 40% DR Ignored via Armor Penetration. Defensively, Defense/Deflection are the ones to look for. Currently only at about 13% Deflection, and I'd love to get that higher up to like 30%, but I'd need to look at all my gear again to see what I can do. Not trading out Radiant's for Silvery's in Defensive slots as Hit Points are too good for us!

I err to the side of the 18% damage increase, though I prefer the 18% damage decrease in my enemies for team utility.

Devotion Spec then? Either way, I have yet to venture into PvP in any sort of meaningful way, so I cannot really comment on rotations/powers/skills/etc.

100% agree here. More Hit Points is a good thing!
imho once u can do it t2 ok-ish the stats are:
HP >> ArP(to cap) > Crit=Def > Deflect = Recovery, the reason deflect is so low is reliability - while it can save you it wont do so reliably and biggest chance of getting 1shot is when pulling and getting hit for 150k on 1st hit before you get your templars and other stuff off and cleric dropping his buffs
before that its HP>>>>>>Def>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> everything
HP just buffs everything, survivability, our damage(aura and more power) and party damage(both from aura and feat), adding power seems a waste, better to add hp and get free power from it
And i prefer terror, while usually somebody in party has one, it really helps in solo with our dmg, considering going for Vorp when i have enough arp and can start adding some crit
as for artifacts i went earth in place of GWF because of more hp(and they arent too expensive now+ you can drop it into another artifact if you want to change it later) and lantern in place of red dragon since you get both crit and ArP on them(and you dont need the pack), and they are the most important offensive stats + its free

I was simply stating I'd like Deflect to be a bit higher, cause it would be cool... Particularly with Fey Thistle from the Sharandar Boon tree!
Actually getting it there is a whole different story, and definitely won't be sacrificing HP for it... Not ever! lol

I can see the Symbol of Earth being better, though I do like the Power from the Sigil of the GWF, the extra HP in the end are probably better off. Or just replace the Heart of the Red Dragon with it...
Hello m8s! I am new in the game and I would like to know if this build is good for pvp as well! And if this class can do anything in pvp!
I believe Oathbound Paladin's are good in PvP, but this build is purely built w/PvE in mind... Though I'm sure with some tweaks it can be decent in PvP as well.
Hello , May i know that is the trans fey increase 18% damage to me is on at-wills ? encounter ? Crit ? Or Daily ?
2nd question : Is trans terror only increase my non crit damage only ?? Crit is not increase by terror ?
Hey there!
1. I'm under the impression its for all sources of damage... At-wills, Encounters, Dailies, etc.
2. It would apply to both, as your critical damage is calculated off what your normal damage is. So X% increase to normal damage, increases potential critical damage. At least that's my understanding...
I've been experimenting a lot with Banishment in the past week or so, and it's been super helpful thus far. It might, just might, be the new hawtness... Stay tuned!

No worries bud, it's the Nightmare Longsword from the Tarmalune Trade Bars merchant!

Hope the Terror/Vorpal works out for you bud!

Hello, saw your build, i cant say if you are right or wrong about it ( i'm paladin too)
i will just say something about 1 skill : cleansing touch
For pvp player, it's a must have. ( control's breaker, healing skill, depending of the path you choose it can also give you a shield) and it has a low cooldown.
Im using perfect vorpal on my paladin, with this skill i can heal for 6k to 80k ppl, and im not devoted.. ( it heals 20/25k most of time )
have u tested tenes? with our low damage and stacking hp for courage anyway seems tasty, but i dont have any myself for testing, and anything above lesser is out of my budget

I believe, at least on the test shard, that Tenebrous would all go on cool down when 1 proc'd... So my understanding is multiple of them is a waste. However it that was fixed, and I missed it, then it would be particularly good for a DPS spec and/or PvP.

didnt they make it so all of them cant proc same time, but they dont go on full cooldown - 1 procs, all go on short cd, the one that did proc goes on full cooldown, i think it was explained like that, but that was early preview so i might be mistaken

From the test shard, I'll see if I can dig up the thread, there was a bug where all Tenebrous would go on cool down when one proc'd... If they've fixed that though, that would be pretty sweet!

No idea... I'm not a Dev... *shrugs*
Perfectly reasonable statement...
Hopefully by the time you reach 70, the capstone will be fixed and the build will be even better.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have...
Don't mind me. Just wanted to come through and poke you so I can learn what sword that is.

could u add some pic of that sword where blade can be better seen to http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?923321-Paladin-transmutes considering it(if i cant find some kickass battle hammer) but want to be sure first since im broke already with all the stuff my paladin needs
If the job requires the use of Banishment, so the Dungeon can be conquered, so be it!
I'll try and get a good picture tonight for that thread bud, no worries!

Yea, redid some points myself and dropped Absolution for it...
Yea, it's pretty darn snazzy!
Not bad, I'm bouncing between: Feytouched, Terror, and Lightning myself... Not sure what I'll finally go with, still testing.
