My Warlock is 27 now, with some epic slayer rings Bilethorn enchant etc. I am unimpressed so far... The damage seems very low in comparison to a CW the same level, and I have no means of control whatsoever? Also I was hoping Curse dotted the target over time, not just a passive damage when used?
Seems I should be doing more dot damage instead I find myself waiting for Encounter CDS whilst I spam At wills that do little damage.
Add to that Dreadtheft is cool, but hard to aim, sometimes shoots straight up or sideways, I was hoping SW would get a shadow form of Ray of Frost something to DOT!
I will continue leveling but its not very fun so far!

Wait until you get up around level 40. I curse three enemies, pop Harrowstorm on the toughest of the three, press tab to prone him then hit all of them with Fiery bolt - Boom. Rinse, repeat. If anything is left, I run up and hit them with Hand of Blight.
I'm at level 51 as Fury path. I can't wait until I hit 60 and can really start playing with the synergy of the class and its powers. I posted on our guild forum that I want to run a 5 SW T1 dungeon party - 2 Fury, 2 Damnation, 1 Temptation. I imagine the DPS and healing would allow us to breeze thru even in newly-minted level 60 blue gear.
Interesting, I hop it gets more inviting. As playing the SW seems more a clunky version of a CW with no control. Curse should be auto with our spells too, Tab should be something better than a GF mark with a cool icon.

Greetings! i'm a newcomer here, and recently picked up Warlock. There are so many abilities in the "Power" tab, i have no idea which abilities i should MAX out. I love going full-dmg warlock which is fury warlock according to your guide i suppose. I prefer PVE over PVP, mind if you tell me which abilities i should MAX out?

This. What makes this class challenging and fun at the same time is trying to consistently pull this off. The results are extremely rewarding.
Big thanks to Voltomey for the effort that went into this guide - great work! I *think* I understood about 90% of it. This community is in dire need of acronym standards as the amount of re-reading in some of these posts can easily give some a headache.

My friends has told me of a build that uses Tyrannical threat to inflict many damages. this is the best combo? Or do others best exist?

Hi, first of all, nice guide! Helps a lot. However, I'm not sure about my ability scores... Should I put points into Cha and Con or into Int and Con? Secondly, Which tree would you recommend, Fury or Temptation? Thanks!

The table above gives all possible ability score combinations for a generic character. Depending on a character's class, the values selected will be automatically reordered as follows:
The primary ability score is always the highest.
The secondary ability scores are the second and third highest, in no particular order.
The remaining three scores (A B and C) will be placed in a specific ability, according to the character's class:

A, B and C are actually STR, DEX and WIS, not WIS, DEX and STR.
So the Table for Initial Dice Rolls for the SW should be:
