Imagine if they followed what they did with Mod 2:
We get the Warlock class with 1 PP, and *all* the other classes get another PP! WOW!
((It was fun to imagine that for a minute...))
60 Hunter Ranger
The rest still up-and-coming!

Hoping the NEW Class is a Paladin with the option of following BAHAMUT to fight against the Draconic Minions of the Dragon Queen Tiamat. New Draconic and Lizardfolk/Lizardman races would be welcome as well.

Genuinely looking forward to mod 4, the more content the better, enjoying mod 3. However, and yes, it's been stated over and over and over again but never with a reply from someone who can truly answer, bugs, fixes, current running issues. I know running issues have been addressed or highlighted. My problem is, is that there are still issues from pre-mod 3 which have never had anything specifically fed back on by any of the developers or team (excluding mods here).
I get it, small (limited) team and lots to do, deadlines to meet. It's still strikes me that direct feedback on the majority of issues that users constantly report or/and have stressed tested on your behalf with the both the live and preview shards are simply overlooked. I'm not going to list a single thing here, because if someone really has to ask what and where i'll probably lose any faith I had in the first place.
It boggles me that in this day and age, with any game or any company does not give some form of adequate, consistent and relevant feedback based on their consumers experiences. I don't want this to be a full blown rant, yes I see the feedback that comes and the statements addressing the known issues, the thing is, most of these tend to be issues that are either, picked up by yourselves or weren't even expressed by the player base in the first base. This leads to the fact that issues which are continuously reported are either overlooked or deemed of a lower priority. Which is, based on forum reports, contrary to the point.
Honestly as a player who still loves the game and enjoys everything it offers and brings, I would have so much more time (and money) for it if mod 5 was literally centred all around improving the feedback and bug report department, everything from how a report was prioritized to how it was fed back to the user base, anything from a mere acknowledgement to a detailed breakdown of how and when it will be dealt with, along with it's impact on the game and any contingency in place based on it's severity.
I know alot of you will say and think that this is all in place and is dealt with in an appropriate manner already, some of which totally is but, let's be serious, take a long hard look in the game and then on the forums, try abit of googling and you'll get a more open and transparent look at what's going on and what's not. Many games have ground breaking issues, and having them swept under the carpet or dealt with in stealth is fine, it's not even these things I'm referring to, it's what is in your face.
Want this summarized in a one (.x) line(s)?
There needs to be a much more finer balance between increased content and resolving old bugs. The monetary benefits of distraction only go so far.
So, When we will see Module 4 on the test server?
and yes rewarding players on the preview for reporting bugs, class errors, etc would be a great way to help the developers get this next expansion ready faster so we dont have to deal with them when they go live.
Ex: Report via in-game or forum
report any 1 - 4 new bug, error, glitch, issue, etc not yet reported - Reward: 5K AD
report any 5 - 9 (same as above) - Reward: 10K AD and/or tome of companion experience
report any 10 -15 (same as above) - Reward: 20k AD and/or Lesser Weapon / armor Enhancement
report any 16 - 20 (same as above) - Reward: 1 Retraining Token
report any 20+ (Same as above) - Reward: 100 Zen + 25 Zen for each additional after 20 reports
If something like this would be implemented when Module 4 goes to the preview, I think that it would boost players to help the developers on the preview server with making sure when Mod 4 goes live that it will be ALOT less buggy then the last 2 Modules when they went live.
I will have to agree with ukspawn. there are still many problems in game that have been here since Mod 2 that have yet to be fixed and some kind of feedback from the developers would be nice "We know about this or that issue and we are currently investigating it.. we will try to have it fixed by blah blah date and time" anything is better then nothing.
Next question is that would help players immensely is actual in-game support.
Can and or when can we expect to start seeing actual In-game support?
So tired of automated replies when i send out an "I'm actually stuck somewhere and not able to move, this node is glitched and cant mine it, can't open chest and don't want to sit here for 24 hours till i get a response, etc.."
After awhile when you have sent out so many trouble tickets ingame, and keep getting the same ole autoreply, it gets to the point of saying "why bother, they're not going to respond to help me right now when i need it most". which players have most likely gotten to that point, they get mad and some will post an OP thread about the problem they had, probably get banned for caplock yelling at the dev's, posting hateful threads, etc...
Which i have read many like this and seen happen and yes I've been guilty of it as well to the point, I was posted as an OP troll trying to cause problems by one of the moderators. and yeah i got forum banned for it. I did pm the moderator and apologize for goin OP FYI
So to make this short and to the point:
We would really love to have actual in-game support response from a real tech / dev to fix, correct, help the players.(stop with the auto-response messages, we don't like them LOLZ). It stops the above chain reactions from possibly happening
Hoping the NEW Class is a Paladin with the option of following BAHAMUT to fight against the Draconic Minions of the Dragon Queen Tiamat. New Draconic and Lizardfolk/Lizardman races would be welcome as well.
++++++1!
AGREED! paladin would the be best! would love to see an actual Holy Avenger sword in game as well.. not a weapon enhancement that honestly doesn't do justice to the name of the greatest paladin weapon of all D&D
Paragon path 1: Smiter of Evil / Holy Devastator path
Paragon path 2: Ex paladin / Blackguard

Speaking as a half silver dragon (in character) I'm getting teased about "naughty cousins coming to invade". It's teasing all in good fun from guildies.
I am wondering though (out of character) is this going to be a focus on chromatics only to kill/ play, OR is the expansion going to allow for all classifications of dragon which are Chromatic, Metallic, Gem, and Other?
There should at least be Chromatic and Metallic.
I'll be looking for a torso/ neck slot item that lets these silvery wings (IC) get out from under a cumbersome cloak!
" I tried to figure out the enigma that was you, and then I realized mastering Wild Magic was easier." - Old Wizard in Waterdeep
"Why is it dragons only use ketchup? I'd like a little wasabi please. Us silvers like a variety of condiments."
"Don't call them foolish mortals. One, they don't learn from it. Two, It just ticks them off." - An Ancient Red Dragon
This is really great news. New content is always great (especially for me if it is PVE oriented). However, I'm pretty much disappointed with module 3. I don't know about PVP as I stopped doing that after the recent changes as it is ridiculously unbalanced for the non-pvp-spec'd builds. PVE on the other hand offers nothing more than an endless grindfest. I'm ok with the requirements to enter IWD but the pre-requisites for the epic skirmish seem a bit overdone. Unless I'm mistaken and don't know sth I'll need to grind for a full purified/corrupted set to even try it. Unless there is way to get 20% black ice resistance, even temporarily, without crafting the new set this particular end game content will probably be closed for me for half a year. Given the fact that the dailies take more than I anticipated (above all because of staggering lags in Icewind Pass/Dwarven Valley) I have to abandon Sharandar and Dread Ring completely with the toons that already got their boons. I have 4 lvl 60 characters (and 2 more on their way) and I'd like all of them to test their mettle in Kessel's Retreat but, seriously...not all players can spend their time in game 24/7.
This is fine.
Not everyone has to have all the things all the time.
Until this release came out, I basically bought the best weapon in the game from the AH. I did it because it was easy and I really wanted it, but I didn't feel much of a sense of accomplishment from grinding my way to weaponsmith level 20 just to make it.
I like that sense of accomplishment. The diminishment of it is the main reason why I quit WoW and frankly, this game is already too easy.

Somebody's tossing a rumor around the next class is going to be a Druid?
Also following rumors is something like NWN Classic's "Purple Dragon Knight" fail.
Third rumor I heard was Shadowdancer related?
Shows you shouldn't listen to all rumors.
People write what they want. As far as I know every unreleased class is a rumor. There has not been confirmed what next class is. It is NOT sure it is going to be Paladin or Warlock for example.
About Ranger they gave a hint "a ranged class". I have not heard any hint what the new class is in 4th expansion.

Yeah yeah I don't know and do not care about 4th edition. That said since this is about Dragons and new race Dragonborn... well Paladins are classically tied to that.
A classic Paladin story(that is out of print) is The Legend of Huma. That is the best book with Paladins that I have read.
Paladin would fit into the setting of Dragon expansion as did the Ranger fit well into an elf Expansion. I would be interested to try Paladin myself and it is more interesting for me then Guardian Fighter or Great Weapon Fighter.
That said Druid is on top of my wish list and I hope we get Druid sooner or later. My 2 favorite classes in WOW was Hunter(= Ranger) and Druid.

Of course, rumors are just rumors, and the next class has not been confirmed. (trust me, you'd know if it was.) However, the devs did confirm that they are working on both the warlock and druid, so it's reasonable to believe one of them will be next. But even so, both classes could take more work than the devs expected, so they could be put on hold for a while. I'd say it's 80% change the next class is either Druid of Warlock.

Keep in mind this isn't WoW, and a WoW-druid and NW-druid could be very different.
Excellent so Druid option is also on the table. As the Warlock if that becomes the case I hope they make it enough different from a Wizard.
Yes what I liked in WOW was that my Druid could shapeshift. We do not have flying mounts and there will be no flying that I do know so shapehifting to a bird is out of the table. However shapehifting to a Cat for example or Bear or Ent like tree those were also possible in WOW. I hope Druid would get some kind of shapeshifting ability.
As for combat gameplay with Druid well lets say I have enough Cleric healers and would on afterthought not enjoy rolling yet another healer so much and even more so if you think about PvP. I never made Clerics in WOW because I did not like the thought of Cleric as cloth user. Druid will do more or less healing that is true but my point I hope Druid will also get a path that is well much less focused on healing. Healers have not been successful in the PvP and they could use a buff.
I am hoping for new guild features also guild hall or heroic encounters
I would love to play as a druid or a Paladin on Neverwinter would be awesome classes or a Necromancer class.
I wouldn't expect anything but the bare bones of a campaign , I think they are being far too ambitious with this module , guess we will see when it goes up for testing within a month or 2.
Yeah.... There is PLENTY of content, I know it's not you guys pushing these mods but you need to explain to your bosses that you need time to fix the current content and balance the classes.
I mean it's pretty bad right now, skip a module and let's fix what we got..... The problem is going to just be compounded and compounded with each content update until it's such a mess it won't be worth saving =\
I may be giving into the normal forum hyperbole but I don't think the negatives concerning the state of the game, and class balance, are being exaggerated too much in most cases.

Well in D&D Druids do get Wildshape as a class ability (at least in D&D up to 3.5e. I've never played 4th Edition so I couldn't say). So I would imagine, if they did make a Druid class, that it's a strong possibility they would have that ability. Only time will tell.
Drakk, didnt know the GWF got those, but what i mean set for all classes, who know what or which ones we get, it could be red dragon scales or blue/white/green, or black sets.
I would have them announce it in two weeks or maybe even a month from when they did.
People might panic and worry about maxing mod 3 incase of requirements, instead of just enjoying and playing the game.
Seriously guys, u know brazilians are knowed as the most dull ppl on world, but u guys, i dont know if u are too lazy to realize or too stupid to understand, the reason is very simple, mod 3 isnt completed yet, the lag/disconect/longer load speed issues is because of missing parts, the "MOD 4" IS NOTHING ELSE THAN MOD 3 FINISHED.

Thumbs up for a Druid shapeshifter class. That would feel indeed different.
As much as I like the frequency of new content, three month is awfully close with all the issues that are still lingering. GF and CW need a total revamp, there is the ArPen issue since ever, HR is announced to get another rework and TR its stealth nerf. And that's not counting all the minor issues with classes and content.
I would like to focus on current problems than another module in August.
Yes. this is the very same issue I had with DDO and why I left the game. they were terrible about continuing to add more content without fixing existing problems. I would prefer less and having it be as close to perfected than more that is broken. would you rather drive a kia that you know is gonna get you there or have a jaguar that doesn't run sitting in your drive way...
Slightly off topic but for those who want to try out the table top version of D&D 5th edition for free will be able to do so (up to level 20 at least).

This is a nice game. But you know that not many people are happy with the announcement of the new module. This announcement means that the price of zen will not subside. Considering the choice of making the bound coalescing purchased with tarmalune makes the game very little "free to play".
If your goal is to stay in the game are those who buy zen, you are going on the right track.
No thanks.

Totally offtopic! This will never be 5th edition period! Computer games stick to the version.
