It's a Friday, they're gearing up for a massive release less than a few months after launch, there's a chance that they may not have had time to respond or even look at the thread.
Let's just keep the thread alive and keep it on the first page, that way when one of them checks it it'll still be on the first page ok.
It is the same when the foundry was down. Absolutely no communication from Cryptic. They just fixed it. Which is terrible communication. Which I put down in their twitter survey.
Sweet Water and Light Laughter Till Next We Meet.

It would seem "Whispers" are a profane word in my quests
This was too good to be left out. xD
To be more clear, "You see a open book with the cover of a golden lion, it stands out quite well from the other books in the room." <--- Profanity to the extreme.
I think my favorite one that I ran into was "This blizzard has been really hard on the village...". Can you guess which part of that sentence was profane? I almost died laughing just picturing this filter as having the maturity of a jr. high student, lol. That is pretty bad that it thought that some of the OP's words were profane though. At least mine could be used in a different context.
I also, agree with some other posters that there is a profanity filter that can be turned on and off in the settings. Why should perfectly normal phrases suffer over this?

It is ridiculous when the game has Courtesan Clothing and titles - I can call some dancing girls - Wizard Courtesans but I cant call him Master, roflmao.

Holy... Just looked at Tribulations.
Those are mostly encounters with the Master title.
My Master Key is also tagged in this.
Courtesan means person who attends the court of a monarch.
LOL. All you did was copy the first line from Wikipedia - jeez here are some more lines.
Today, the term courtesan has become a euphemism to designate an escort or a prostitute, especially one who attracts wealthy clients
Also you would find that a Women of the Court - only had 1 role their and it was not editing laws.

a prostitute or paramour, especially one associating with noblemen or men of wealth.
From the Renaissance on, European kings and noblemen often kept a courtesan, that is, a women with whom they had a relationship but were not married to.
The courtesan got her name quite literally from the royal court where she lived. In fact, the term to court, as in to woo someone romantically, comes from the origin. A similar term is concubine, though it has a slightly different meaning. Concubines date from earlier times, to the Biblical era and beyond, and refer to woman who were generally kept far more closeted socially, unlike courtesans, who often had great independence and freedom. Don't confuse your different types of high class girlfriends!

Used in this way it is slang and changes from place to place. In this game it is a person who attends the court of a monarch.
I don't disagree with what you are saying and it is a fine example of double standards. It's the same as John, It's a name. A very well known one. Like the pope, the book of John in the Bible, John Lewis, John Lennon. Who may I ask doesn't know a John?

I guess Cryptic doesn't like mindflayer based quests. "Master" and "Minion" are no longer allowed? I assume they will take mindflayers out of the encounter list next. They also must not want those new Cyclops being used at all.
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.
Neither of those seems to include the CM posting "hey, we see you're having a problem..."
Three reasons why it doesn't.
1. Some CMs don't or he might not feel comfortable commenting on it with the level of information he has.
2. He might be under a gag order concerning it.
3. It makes people think that it's a priority and will be fixed in the next patch leading to more rage when it isn't.
EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I'm with you guys here and I'm going to be bugging people for answers if we don't get one by the end of the work day Monday, I just also understand the position these guys are in (it makes being between a rock and a hard place look like heaven) and I do sympathize with them a little.

(Where is this definition stated by the game - I did not know there was a Dictionary)
I also Understand what you are saying - but how come they are all in the Moonstone Mask and wear skimpy clothing (and Masks).
You might also say in some weird context that this place actually existed and that we could have "<font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> Ole Parties", because the word <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> a hundred years ago meant Happy. But in reality and the language that we communicate with the word "<font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>" means a Homosexual and also the word "Courtesan" means an Escort.
The thing is though with what you are saying is the clothing bought from the Zen store = that is not the clothing of a Noble man or Women attending court.
Also all of my erotic novels I read as a teenager, even dating back 200 years had the definition that I understand it to be.
LOL = I am not going to say anymore on the matter. I find it slightly cheap and more offensive then the words that have been blocked by the Profanity meter.

Hmm. My "Old Magic" has a book titled "Summoning your minions" and that wasn't tagged. But "Master Illusionist" was tagged. Are we *sure* that "minion" is profane??

There is a number 4. They just don't care that much about the foundry or foundry authors.
Look how they responded and kept us updated when we were having all that trouble with the foundry not working at all. Unable to publish... etc...

Given the amount of hype around the foundry I find this hard to believe.
And only female ones at that. Which could be considered to be discrimination.
The courtesans actually bother me less than that poor woman on the login/launch screen. She is so excessively over-endowed that she appears to be falling over! Not exactly welcoming to the human female player base.
On the profanity filter though, I just logged in after several weeks to make some updates to my quest and found that there are new, inexplicable profanity flags that prevent me from publishing. I can't for the life of me figure out which words are causing the "problem" so I guess I'll just let my quest languish instead!
UPDATE: Thanks to the person who posted the hover-over tip, I discovered that the offending terms were two sets of "me in"s. Ludicrous.
