gah...I sent in an application but realized when I 'submit'ted the application that I might have forgotten to answer the top right questions -___-
Not sure which yours was, but if you registered, you can access your profile and update the questions. All the ones we are most interested are required on the initial application so you cannot submit it without answering them.
Along these lines, we're received a slew of applications, which is to be expected with open beta. The effort in answering why you want to join our guild varies widely, from people jotting down a couple sentences that could apply to any guild, to others writing full paragraphs explaining why they'd be a good match. You can guess which ones we approve.
Those we don't approve are given another chance to update their answer. However, I'd like to stress that's it's easier on everyone if you put in the initial effort if you are serious about joining.

Lots of applications coming in. Check back on our forums for follow-up PMs. We are selective, so if you made only minimal effort in telling us why you'd be a good fit for our guild and vice-versa, the application will not be accepted.

Hiya. Recruitment remains steady. I'm quite happy with what I'm seeing in the applications. Still have a few coming in that I have no idea why they are applying here, but they tend to move on to a place more suited to them, which is better for all around. Keep them coming, and I'd be glad to chat in-game with anyone interested.

My brother and I are playing Neverwinter on Beholder. This sounds like it might be a good Guild for us, as we are Old Timers--disciples of Gary Gygax and AD&D 1st edition since 1980 (we still play today, over Skype!). Thanks for the post; we will check out info and instructions for application.

66 members playing Neverwinter now. Leaps and bounds, and really great since we are selective.
Still seeing "Hey, I'm mature. Not sure what else you want to know. Let me in." type of applications. Sorry, not going to cut it. It doesn't give us anything to go on. We want to know our members, and you are just a random when you tell us nothing about yourself.
The nice paragraph or two or three ones are coming too, and we sure appreciate the time and effort serious applicants are putting in. Keep them coming.

"highly selective". If you don't post me a short novella, I'm going to set you to "being reviewed" until you give me one.
I'm fine with turning away 80% of applicants for lack of information, bad names, or just didn't strike me as the "right stuff". as it is, however, I'm rejecting outright very few; the majority of those that have problems are simply too brief, and require some greater detail, and polish.
We require polite, friendly, sociable folks who will use the tools and interact, particularly on our forums.
Are you mature, dependable, and trustworthy, and require that sort of treatment from those you game with?
