There are a lot of really good ones like Deep Gnomes & Grey Dwarves that I used to like to play. Way back in 2E they released a complete book of humanoids with rules for Kobald, Goblin, Giant, etc. characters. Some of them would be fun
I agree that I'd love to see gnomes in the game, possibly with basic Gnomes as a free race, and Svirfneblin as a pay-for-race.
After that, I wouldn't mind maybe another type of Dwarf (Gold Dwarf versus Shield Dwarf, or even Duergar if we want to allow those), Genasi, Ghostwise Halflings, or Human Barbarian.
Aww, Kender was my favorite Dragonlance race, much more desirable then some warforged thing.
Kender = Halfling
Not true. Kender are the product a magical artifact, the Graygem of Gargath. They were originally gnomes, not halflings. Halflings don't exist naturally on Krynn and their ecological niche is instead filled by Kender. However, halflings can exist on Krynn if they come from planar travel or via spelljamming -- just like Kender could exist on Toril but aren't naturally found here.
I know vampires are not considered a race but its only thing I would like to see. Especially when other races are just variations of one. Like the elf. We need a drastically different race. And if vampires are not consider a race then why is there one in the well of the dragons
i support the gnomes! they can have beards. i like beards...

They cant make vampires a race because you would have the problem of what race to make them.
It would be dull if you could only be a Human vampire, for instance, rather then a Dwarf or a Dragonborn one. This is why it is considered an affliction rather then a race. Because it can apply to any and all races.
Personally id rather not see it at all. It would simply be game breaking and overpowered.
null Let's be honest here.. kender were removed from core race because in actual DND they were too much.. if you played them by character role everyone in the group would have been left penniless while the kender was walking away with all his new found items someone left on the ground and he just happened to pick up. In this game that's a non issue.
How long do i have to wait for my Gnome? Come on cryptic!
Has there been any official plan or announcement for a new RACE or CLASS in Neverwinter yet? Since they've already released most of the RACE's available in 5th Edition, as well as generally available Classes I'd If it were me the New RACE to be introduced would be the:
Dragonborn 4th, 5th Drow 5th Dwarf All Elf / High Elf All Half-elf 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3.5, 4th, 5th Half-orc 1st, 3rd, 3.5, 5th Halfling / Hobbit All Human All Tiefling 4th, 5th
If it were me the New CLASS to be introduced would be the:
Kalashtar which in most D&D LORE is a RACE but it's description is PERFECT for a CLASS as it's really just a form of Cleric or Monk who uses Psionic powers. Also as many in the forums talk about the DIRE need for an expanded style Monk not directly healing but who uses a different form of power that provides a great balance to gameplay. Depending on the Paragon / Archtype this could be a great welcomed CLASS that would GREATLY fit and support the Cleric's or Paladon's role with a Psionic Element to the game and combined with the alternate Paragon or more Martial Arts / Psionic ability help deal with Rogue/Trickster's in PvP battles.
"The kalashtar are a race of psionic people in the Eberron campaign setting of the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. They are descendants of a group of human monks from Adar who allowed themselves to be possessed by good-aligned Quori fleeing Dal Quor. Over time, the connection between the two has become inseparable. As the kalashtar greatly outnumber the good-aligned Quori, the spiritual essence of each Quori is divided out amongst many Kalashtar, known collectively as a lineage. Thus, the only way to completely destroy one of the good-aligned Quori is to exterminate its entire lineage. Many kalashtar follow the Path of Light."
They have two Primary Paragon (Skill Differences) described here:
"The Path of Light
The Kalashtar follow il-Yannah or The Path of Light and it reflects every aspect of their lives. Deeply spiritual and meditative, the Kalashtar work within the communities they live within, helping spread good and the light to every corner of the world. They intensely believe that by actively promoting and acting on the behalf of good, they will slowly move the cycle of Quor Tarai towards its conclusion and herald a new age of Light and Joy.
The Path of Shadows
Sheshan talarash dasyannah or as it is more commonly known, the Path of Shadows, is a martial art form in every sense of the term. Part exercise, meditation, combat training, and artistic expression, the Path of Shadows is a smooth, soft, graceful, and fluid art of hypnotic moves and sweeping motions. A Kalashtar focusing purely on the movement is said to be staying in the light while one who instead uses it to train for battle is facing the shadows."
Gith would be awesome, especially if the next class is monk. Then you could choose githzerai or githyanki to support your class choice, either the defensive boons of one or the offensive boons of the other. Plus the control resist bonus they would get for being illithid slaves for so long would be a welcome addition to pvp, where every match above level 30 is control or die.
I personally voted for the Aarakocra, it should've been introduced when module 6 came out. But also I thought like this. What's the use of a new race if no matter how good it is for your class, they will still give us a premium race that costs an insane amount of zen, that all P2Ws will get, of course some hardcore players will too, and that will make about 50% of all the people playing Neverwinter, as it is with dragonborn now. Okay, Dragonborns existed in the 4th and 5th era, i'm not much of a guy who reads lore a lot, but tell me, was there some kind of an invasion of dragonborns that made half of the world's races almost extinct? Because that's the current situation I see in the game. No matter what race you give us, most of the players will still go for the premium races instead because they're significantly better. So you have to either MAKE them equal, or diminish the bonuses of the premium races. You can believe me, of course you don't have to, but with the current situation, you are making the current classic races extinct, so what's the use of adding new ones? They will also extinct. Here you go - 6th era, dragonborn's domination. Hopefully you will look into this.
I want to play as a duergar. I am a new player to the game but a very old timer in terms of the pen and paper D&D. Since they have the models in game for duergar they should be their own race or at the very least a dwarf option like the elves get.
Personnally, id love aasimar, but dont make them look like you did with tieflings. Try to let us chose which "planar traits" we want. Like if i want silvery skin, or a halo, a cloudy golden mist around me, small unusable wings, etc.
What i propose, for tieflings and aasimars (if they get added), it to let us chose 3 planars traits. By example, you want horns, check, you want a tail, check. You want red skin check. If you want claws or minotaur like legs, you'd have to uncheck something. Rest would be based on a human appearance.

Those are my thoughts...
Dead🔪I would like to see Aasimar and Eladrin in game. And Shadr'Kai if that possible.
