Ok, I am here to report progress. I am finally able to get the launcher screen. I no longer get stuck at the launcher updating box. I do get to enter my username and password. Now this is the point I am stuck. After I enter my log in information, the wait time is .... well, I'm still waiting.

Not working, the launcher does not seem able to connect. Has anyone tried uninstalling and reinstalling? I doubt that will help with this connection issue we are all having, but I am no expert.

I am fairly certain you don't know in-game, maybe I'm wrong. A PA with LR very hard to die, and it is a build to lvl up 1-40 is exactly what I was looking for, and I also want him to have, when 40, the best dodge/avoidance I can get for him. There is a Spec tree available to increase your dodge significantly. Is that Intel? Also, Quarry is another way of have very high Dodge numbers, and some pvp'ers use it to get some absurdly high dodge numbers. All I know about this is that Int, again, feeds dodge into Quarry.

Yes, thank you for the advice. I am trying to avoid Alerts. I am doing mishs from the Socrates computer. Alerts are the same thing over and over and not much chance to learn how to play better.
