This would very likely be the path to go, yes. *nod* It would be pretty rad to have, maybe not Destroyer's armor itself, but Destroyer "themed" armor. Or Defender "themed" armor. Heck, I wouldn't doubt it's not possible already, I made this guy once: BEHOLD, DESTROID DESTROYER! (About as close as you can get to Destroyer…
Thanks for the feedback! I honestly though, didn't put a lot of detail into the respirator due to time constraints for the contest. I was hoping for something more akin to this:
It's not going to happen for the reason that those particular costume pieces are what make champion OC's special, and separate them apart from the players. If players had access to those pieces, the OC NPC's wouldn't be unique anymore because players could easily just make a clone of that OC NPC. Kind of like how you can't…
This x100. Because scarfs. I also want to wear scarfs with armor. and scarfs on cowboy clothes. and scarfs on things that don't normally have scarfs. and scarfs on other scarfs. ... just give me a costume set made of scarfs.
To further this, they don't have the excuse of "things will clip through stuff and that will bog down the server" anymore, because ALL the of the NEW costume pieces are able to clip through just about anything, and are available just about in any option that makes sense.
I was a little more than disappointed with the so-called "cyberpunk" set when it came out, as it felt more sci-fi than cyberpunk to me. (Not saying I didn't like the set, I do love it, I just feel as though it was mis-named.) So here you are, I made a "Network Decker" costume set. (As to not conflict with the existing…
I was going to draw something extremely similar, but seriously, take this post into consideration. Why? The so-called "cyberpunk" set you released wasn't very cyberpunk at all, and the above images fit it -much- better by a long shot.
It's due to character customization. It's been outlined before that if a character had a grapple on another and one of them were a size too big for one or the other, the animation would look awkward and they would clip together because the hold animation is preset to a certain distance when holding a character.
Unfortunately it's not Cryptic's fault. PWE is the publisher, that means they get to decide how content is distributed, whether that be free or cost something.
Hrm, that is true. They could potentially just leave the Mass at the same size as it currently is, then just change the far end, yeah. Then that would fix that one.
It's very true that some of the code isn't well thought out, but what I mentioned is a no-brainer. If they did it the -other- way in which -EVERY- piece had to be optimized like that, I'm positive releasing costumes in general would be a major pain and a problem, not to mention that the game would probably be extremely…
It's not the costume pieces themselves. It's just the body. Because if the programmer was -smart-, he would have programmed all costume pieces to base their structure and deformers off the body piece they are sitting on. As opposed to wings and tails, of which would need their two respective deformers and rigging.
That is true too. They probably have this long list of things that people want implemented that they may or may not be considering. I just hope this gets moved up on the list, considering how long it's been a post, how many people have signed it, and ... yeah. It should just be a thing.
I can't remember which it is. I'm pretty sure it's the average walking animation that bothers me as opposed to the heroic walking animation (of which still is mildly robotic, but not nearly as bad.)
I've worked with 3D Models/Games before. They'd have to code in a whole new slider (or sliders) in the menu, code in whole new physics for the sliders on a part that previously had none, in more than one deformation. They also have to rig the costume part to be able to deform it in such a manner. That's much more time…
I don't mind all the existing stances. (EXCEPT FOR AVERAGE ON FEMALE. NOBODY walks like that, you cannot defend that.) But -more- stances would be really nice. I find that a lot of my female characters stick to only heroic and vixen. And my male characters just stick to Average, RARILY heroic. So I'm really only using a…
It's not like they can't do it, either. They recently added wing and tail sliders. And that was adding BRAND NEW sliders, not even changing existing modifiers. And it's also -very- obvious pretty much near the entire populace of the suggestions section wants this to be a thing. Someone should probably sticky this or pin it…
Bring me my Talsorian weapons back. Rename them to 'particle blades'. This game has laser swords already, i'm aware of that, but our selection is extremely small and not exactly admirable. And with semi-transparent weapons already existing in the game (Psi blades), we're well aware CO is capable of semi-transparent…
/signed x10 I have a lot of female characters, and one or two of them are supposed to be rather large 'hulk-esque' figures. The sliders don't give them enough justice. It's also extremely annoying to max out almost all the sliders for like, a female mecha design, but the waist is still so tiny it looks like the top half…
100 Zen = 1 Z-Key = 100G Is the conversion rate I'm using to value the costume piece at $30. Though one could argue G's have much less value than that since they are obtainable for free. Either way, I still think it's silly.
Why this won't happen: Cryptic is the developer, which means they create content. PWE is the publisher, which means they say how content is distributed. One thing about this content distribution is lock boxes. Cryptic doesn't actually have the choice to stop lock boxes from happening. It's not because they don't want to do…

- when selecting a material for either the left or right hand, it defaults both of them to the same material. IE: If I want my left hand to be metal, and my right hand to be leather, I have to choose between either making BOTH of them metal or BOTH of them leather, when it should be just one hand leather, one hand metal.…
Had this issue again today. I randomly disconnected in game, then was unable to get past the loading screen each time I had a login attempt. Admittedly, the issue resolved itself MUCH quicker this time. (Within 5 minutes) but that still suggests the issue still exists.
Apparently I can now. That was rather unexpected, but I have a new issue now. I can't use chat. At all. No messages are sent, and no messages are received.
I do hope this gets attention, because these were some of the weapons I missed the most from City of Heroes/Villains. Not to mention, as seen above, I'm sure other people would want these. And hopefully not found in a lockbox. >_>
